He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21:7-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
My Son did not want cowards around Him as disciples. When Peter tried to dissuade Him from going to the Cross, He dealt with it quickly—“Get behind Me, Satan. You are a stumbling block to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Matthew 16:23. Cowards are a stumbling block. That is what stopped the entire assembly of My people redeemed out of Egypt from entering their destiny—ten cowards who gave them a bad report.
It is so dangerous to have cowards around you that I cautioned My people that when they went out against their enemies and saw armies greater than theirs, they were not to be afraid of them; for I was with them, just as I was when I brought them out of Egypt, but that before leaving for battle, the officers were to inquire, “Who is the man that is afraid and fainthearted? Let him depart and return to his house, so that he might not make his brothers’ hearts melt like his heart.” Deuteronomy 20:8.
I called Gideon to be an overcomer and fight the Midianites as if one man, when he gathered the army to go with him I told him to send anyone home who was afraid.
Now therefore come, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is afraid and trembling, let him return and depart from Mount Gilead.’” So 22,000 people returned, but 10,000 remained. Judges 7:3.
Fear, pulling back from entering your destiny, compromising with the world to avoid persecution, and letting your emotions rule your life rather than My Word, are all cowardly. The cowardly do not enter My Kingdom.
What is wrong with being a coward? A coward has no or very little faith. And without faith it is impossible to please Me. Why? Without faith you draw back and never obtain the promise that is already yours if you would just take and receive it. The righteous shall live by faith.
A coward backs down at first opposition. If the seed of the Word did implant in his heart, he pulls it out in the face of the first contrary circumstance as useless. A coward is a doubter and a scorner and has very little or no faith that My Word will come to pass. Consequently for him it usually does not. Scoffers rarely get results. Like the Pharisees telling Jesus to come down off the Cross to prove who He was.
A coward just waits around for things to fall in his lap and if it does not happen immediately says it was My Will that My promise not come to pass for him, which is generally not the case. That was like the servant who hid his talent in the ground and did nothing with it because he was scared the master would punish him if he failed to get a good return.
A coward is never a champion, is easily defeated, and resists those who speak victory. In fact, the people threatened to stone Caleb and Joshua when they encouraged the people in My Word to enter and take the land I had promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
A coward will not go out to face the enemy but hides in his tent begging Me or someone else to remove the enemy. He wants conquest with no opposition, no effort, and no diligence. That was like Gideon, but I went in and fixed his self-image with My image of him, which was a champion overcomer, and he renewed his mind in fellowship with Me and became just what I saw in him—more than a conqueror.
My Son defeated Satan and the law of sin and death but Satan is not confined yet as Adam’s leasehold is not up yet and Adam gave it to Satan. But Satan only has the power of suggestion. You need to take authority and enforce what is yours already. Work with Me in close fellowship over your thought life and your words. Flow with Me and do not work stout against Me by accepting Satan’s lies and acting on those.
It all comes down to whose words you will speak, the devil’s lies or My truth? The Israelites spoke the devil’s lies and accepted the unclean spirit of fear, that I did not give you, and only Joshua and Caleb spoke My truth and only they got the rewards of the overcomer.
What rewards does the overcomer receive? I set out the long term ones in the Book of Revelation.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God. Revelation 2:7.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death. Revelation 2:11.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, to him I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows but he who receives it. Revelation 2:17.
He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations. Revelation 2:26.
He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Revelation 3:5.
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. Revelation 3:12.
He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:21.
My Kingdom is one of overcomers.
What have they overcome? The world, the flesh and the devil, but actually it all comes down to they have had the victory over themselves by attaching to Me (reconciled in Jesus for fellowship) and renewing their minds with My Word in fellowship with Me. A relationship of love. And that is eternal life—knowing Me, the one true God, and the One I sent, Jesus Christ, your Lord. And I am love. Knowing love and getting into that flow is eternal life in union with Me even now.
What defeated Adam and Eve was not so much the deceit of the devil but they themselves. They thought that their best interests diverged from Mine. But that is not the case, I am more interested in your well-being than most of you are. Just look at people’s lifestyles that are destroying them and leaving them a mass of destroyed addicted carnage deep in depression, angry and hostile to all. and you will understand what I am saying.
My Son came to serve you and not to be served, to give His life as a ransom for you. He came to bring you abundant life until it overflows, days of Heaven on earth. And in seeing Him you see Me for He is the exact image of My being and the radiance of My glory. He is the Word generated deep within Me that is begotten into manifestation by the Spirit to become one like you in the flesh. But He and I are One. The Spirit and the Son proceed from Me but they are also Me. We are one.
In all things I desire that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul (mind, will, and emotions) prospers. And your soul prospers by walking in the truth, by receiving and growing the implanted Word that has the power to save your souls. Renewed minds are saved souls.
Jesus shows you what it means to be an overcomer. He walked in authority, working miracles, signs, and wonders, but they were all done in love and compassion, nothing for personal glory or gain. All for you.
To be an overcomer there is only one way it will come, by attaching to the Overcomer who put the devil under your feet.
These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Christ in you, your hope of glory! You are a temple of the Holy Spirit. And He is power! Not by human power or might but by My Spirit! And His power working in you can do far beyond all you can even imagine or think. It is time you started tapping into who you are in Christ. Not just an overcomer but a super-overcomer.
In the language of the New Testament, which is Greek, the word translated overcomer is “nikaó (νικάω), which means to conquer, prevail, come off victorious, and it is from the word niké (νίκη), which means victory. And then there is a level even above that which flows to you out of fellowship with Me, drawing on My love. And that is “more than a conqueror.”
The word translated as “more than conquerors” is the Greek word hupernikaó (ὑπερνικάω), which means to be more than a conqueror. It is formed from the same word translated as “overcomer” combined with the word “huper.” “Huper” means beyond and nikao means to conquer, prevail, come off victorious to it combines to mean “exceedingly conquer, being more than a conqueror,” i.e. “super-conqueror” or a “super-overcomer,” who is “completely and overwhelmingly victorious.”
I use this word is only one time in the Bible and that is in Romans 8:37:
But in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39.
You see here something that is key. The source of what comes out of you starts in fellowship, that is, in communion with Me. Walking in your dominion authority, which is what the life of the overcomer should look like, is fueled by your time with Me, it is My love and compassion flowing into you, that is the source of dominion authority which properly represents Me in the world and causes you to be more than a conqueror. It is love that takes authority to conquer evil by good, and this flows from a heart of compassion for the one trapped by the evil.
Jesus spent time in fellowship with Me, it was a priority for Him, and the authority He walked in was one of compassion and love. He looked at people with compassion, like sheep without a shepherd, and then he taught and healed them. He taught them to be overcomers. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. And He taught them by My Word.
For the love of Christ impels us, once we have come to the conviction that One died for all; therefore, all have died. He indeed died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.
When people think of overcomers who take the victory they think of the great works people do but with Me it is the relationship that is the key to victory. Fellowship is what I am looking for, family is what I made you for. I did not make all the beautiful things I made for Myself alone, I made them for you to richly enjoy with Me. It is not good to be alone, for you or for Me, for you are in My images and according to My likeness.
Moses had a close relationship with Me that others did not, not because I refused them but because they just were not interested in pursuing a relationship with Me. They had things to do they found more important or more enjoyable. Like the parable of the wedding feast that My Son told where all the invited guests were too busy to come and turned down so great an invitation for worldly pursuits.
But Moses delighted to be with Me. In My presence he found fullness of joy. His heart’s desire was to know Me better and see My glory. Consequently when he stared at the Red Sea on one side and the canyon filled with Egypt’s charioteers on the other, out of his relationship with Me flowed the answer, that is, the miracle and the victory. The others just acted like cowards, screaming at Me to do something, and yet by their words you can see that they did not believe I would do anything to rescue them and they would all perish. They would have lost it all without someone present who had a relationship with Me through which dominion power could flow and be exercised. This was why kings and other people would seek out prophets (“seers”) such as Samson, Elijah, and Elisha for answers in dire situations where they did not know what to do. And My prophets would give them the answer from Me. How? The people knew that the prophets had a close and intimate fellowship with Me.
But under the New Covenant you can all hear from Me from the least to the greatest for My Spirit is dwelling in you. You have the anointing and the anointed One that used to only be upon the anointed prophets, kings, and priests.
My Son was conveying this truth to you in the analogy of Him being the vine and you being the branches with Me as the vine keeper. And the Holy Spirit being the flow of divine life (full of sap and very green) flowing into you from the vine making you bear the fruit of the Spirit and prospering the work of your hands.
If you consider the vine and the branch, it is not the works of the branch as separate from the vine but the attachment that is the key. The better the branch is attached and resting in the vine, the more the fruit is guaranteed. It is all about abiding in the vine and not being cut off or severed from the vine. If the branch is severed from the vine there will be no fruit and no life. Why? The relationship is gone.
Many people want to be healed but they are not attached to Me so it is hard to flow My life which has healing and all benefits in it into them. They have no relationship with Me and just come and bombard Me, beg Me, and often even recite Scriptures about healing. And speaking My Word is key to rebuking the sickness with the truth that you are already healed and casting it out but I am going to tell you the fastest way to healing, prosperity, and all of My magnificent promises. It is just this: work on your relationship with Me. Draw close to Me and I draw close to you. Call on Me and I answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Spend time with Me in My Word and it will be life to you and healing to all your flesh. I give good things to My children who ask Me but that too is about relationship. It means you have taken Jesus as your Lord, been born again as My child, and know Me as your loving Father who has given you the Kingdom.
The fruit flows, the healing flows, the blessing flows, the answers flow, the miracles flow out of our relationship. You abiding in Me and I in you. Do not just beg and cry for Me to heal you as if you are apart from Me and begging from a place below and separate from Me, I have seated you with Me in Heaven in Him. Come with confidence, attach in love to Me and healing will flow into you until healing is produced on your branch. It is a relationship. Like it was with Moses, my friend. I even wrote the commandments down for him. We did things together. Now it should be even more that way with you. Moses prayed that all would prophesy and now you can with the Holy Spirit on you, in you, and My Words in your mouth. Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible by My revelation to him but now you have a lot more than he did. You have from Genesis to Revelation.
