May the love of God our Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you!
Here it is time for our June Fellowship Meeting! I am here in Honolulu, just back from Texas and ISRAEL! And filled with the joy of the LORD! Israel, what a wonderful place to be! It was my first time back since I studied Biblical Hebrew there in 2013. I was at Magdala, Jerusalem, Galilee, Capernaum, Mt. Carmel, Masada, Migdal, Golan Heights, Ariel, the Dead Sea, the Shrine of the Book (Dead Sea Scrolls), the City of David, the Jordan River, the Mt. of the Beatitudes and so many other places where Jesus lived and walked! I would like to take you all on our own tour! Let us plan on it by faith.
Our meeting will be Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the beautiful St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley at the St. Damien House from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All are invited for praise, worship, prayer, teachings from the Word on transferring to the Kingdom system and operating in THE BLESSING that Christ died to bring to us, training in personal evangelism (how to carry out Jesus’ command and the desire of His heart that we be His witnesses starting here and now and share the good news of Jesus in our daily errands, as we go out and go wherever our day takes us each day), and, of course, fellowship. We will also spend some time hearing from God for each person attending. Bring a dish to share for lunch together. The address for the Retreat Center is 3351 Kalihi Street, Honolulu, HI 96819.
We have a new ministry website with the same website address up and running and you should go check it out. The old one got too old and crashed so God did something new! He is always doing something new and wonderful. Expect good things to fill your day and they will! He has promised it to us in His Word and His Word is true, filled with magnificent promises given by grace and received by faith. And faith speaks!
Our annual “begin the year” conference will be held January 3 (evening), January 4 (all day), and January 5 (morning), 2020. It will be awesome because God has proclaimed the theme for 2020! It is the Year of Everlasting Love! It will be held at the wonderful St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley. We will be sharing with you God’s ultimate gifts of LOVE: Jesus, THE BLESSING, the Spirit, and the Kingdom, and how to receive and operate in them now and for eternity! And we will have the world premiere of our new musical play, “Hosea – Everlasting Love.” We will be using Bishop Libert Hall again and the Dining Hall. We will have child care with faith-filled activities in their own Hall, the Immaculate Heart Hall, complete with piano and stage, with their own field to play in, etc. for all the times of the conference. Overnight accommodations are available if you would rather not drive in each day (and just to spend a weekend in the beauty and quiet of resting in the LORD for getting perfect vision for 2020!) with a choice of private rooms for single or double occupancy with private bath and air conditioning (although it is January so you probably won’t need it), suites, cottages, single and double rooms with shared bath, and dormitory-type rooms. And if you want to be a part of the choir, music team, and/or an actor and singer in the play of Hosea, we are having our casting call and first read through Sunday, June 23, 2019 (tomorrow) at 4:00 pm in the Kamiano Center at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace on Fort Street Mall downtown. Free parking at Century Square. Please come and be a part of this production for the glory of God and the edification of the Body of Christ. It has new songs and a new script all by the inspiration of God to yours truly! If you enjoyed our plays, “Ruth, A Love Story to the Praise of His Glory,” and “Hannah – A Light in the Darkness,” you will enjoy this one even more (or at least as much for those were amazing).
Looking ahead on another note, July’s meeting will be Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, so mark your calendars for that meeting now. Again, it will be held at the St. Anthony Retreat Center in Kalihi Valley in the St. Damien House. Hope you can make both June and July meetings and the casting call. The LORD bless you and keep you!
