Women's Ministry

A WOMEN’S MINISTRY FOR ALL AGES AND WALKS OF LIFE

Most Beautiful Among Women, our women’s ministry, is a fellowship of women of all ages and from all walks of life with varied talents and gifts, who all come together in one community of love and faith in Jesus our Lord to share God’s Word as we reflect together on our journeys and God-given assignments and reach out to those in need in prayer and action.

We meet every week on Zoom in the weekly Bible Study. We also share in prayer, worship and speaking prophecy in tongues and interpretation of tongues. We come together to hear from God and to come to know His voice, His ways, and His perfect Will for our lives.

Joined together with our own Marana tha Ministries, we have aprison ministry, a TV and video ministry, an evangelization team, and a planning team for our  annual conferences. Our music team, acting team, and dance team are always seeking new participants, men and women, boys and girls. Our projects are as varied as the skills and talents of our members led by the Holy Spirit.

If you are wondering why we are called “Most Beautiful Among Women,” it is because that is the name the Lord spoke to our leader, Bonnie L. Moore, as we sat together in fellowship over lunch as we were beginning in 2016. It is taken from Song of Songs 1:8 and Song of Songs 6:1-3. God sings over us with joy, Zephaniah 3:17, and the book of Song of Songs is God’s love song to each one of us as His heart’s desire, and to His church as the bride of Christ. The first name the Lord calls us as His beloved in that precious love song is “O most beautiful among women.” Song of Songs 1:8. And after He calls us who seek Him the “most beautiful among women,” and we begin to abide in His love, others begin to see us that way too and call out to us as they see our radiant joy, “Where has your beloved gone, O most beautiful among women? Where has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you?” Song of Song 6:1-3. And as are drawn to the One who loves us and gave His life for us, we are drawing others with us, as we run together to the sweet anointing of the One whom our hearts love. Song of Songs 1:1-4,7, Galatians 2:20.

Our logo, as you may have noticed, is a heart filled with flowers and a lighted candle that begins shining in the heart but then shines out into a dark world. The garden of flowers and lilies in the heart are inspired by Song of Songs 4:12-16 and Song of Songs 6:2, where the Lord calls the hearts of those who seek Him a garden enclosed where He loves to come and fellowship and gather lilies. And the candle burning in the garden of the heart is from the following Scriptures: Psalm 18:28: “For You, O LORD, light my lamp; the LORD my God illumines my darkness;” Proverbs 20:27: “The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all the innermost parts of his being;” Luke 12:35: “Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.” John 1:9: “There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man;” Psalm 119:130: The revelation of Your Word gives light, O LORD;” Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father who is in Heaven;” and Luke 11:34-36: “The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness. If therefore your whole body is full of light, with no dark part in it, it will be wholly illumined, as when the lamp illumines you with its rays.”

We invite you to come join us to meet new friends and experience who you really are in Christ—a new creation—as we enjoy fellowship with God and one another. Let your Light shine! It all starts in your heart, but it does not stay there.
