I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:26-27.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

I can change you. Suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye, what was bitter becomes sweet, and what was burdensome becomes easy and light. Where there was sadness in your heart, suddenly there is heavenly joy that no one and nothing can take from you. Where there was hardness and resentment in your heart, suddenly there is tenderness and freedom. What has happened? Why is your mourning suddenly turned in to dancing?

The answer is simple. I gave you a new heart. I gave you Mine. I poured My love into your heart by the gift of My Holy Spirit. I poured My joy into your heart by the anointing. I gave you My peace. All by the Spirit. All fruit of the Spirit. All freely given.

You should not be surprised. I promised you this. Let Me show you the promise: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.” Ezekiel 36:26-27.

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30.

I would like to show you how My servant David describes this amazing transformation, “I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my enemies rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me. O Lord, You have brought up my soul from hell; You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit. Sing praise to the Lord, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:1-5. And then he goes on to tell you the foundation: “Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me; O Lord, be my helper. You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, that my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:11-12.

Suddenly in one moment of grace, you find your heart has changed from a hard and stony heart to a soft and tender heart filled with love and joy! A life filled with light and purpose. A servant’s heart looking for ways to serve others. You are on assignment. Each day, every moment of the day, you are on assignment as a royal priesthood and a minister of reconciliation.

In one moment, in  a twinkling of an eye, a pico second, what used to cause you a heavy burden of oppression is easy and light and it becomes your delight. Why? I have given you to drink of My Spirit, and where the Holy Spirit is there is liberty.

Why does it come to some and not others? I have promised it to all of you.

The key is in obedience. If you are willing and obey, you will eat the best of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. Isaiah 1:19-20. Willing and obey. I tell you to serve others. To love them as Jesus does. To forgive. To bless. To give. To go willingly two miles when put into service for one. To wash another’s feet. To think of other’s interests as more important than your own.

As Jesus came into the world as one of you, He cried out to Me, “To do Your Will is My delight and Your Law is within My heart.” Psalm 40:8; Hebrews 10:7. He came not to be served but to serve. He washed your feet. He had compassion, even for those who mistreated Him. He served them too. And I anointed Him with the oil of joy beyond that of all His companions. Hebrews 1:9; Psalm 45:7. He gave Me His heart and I gave Him Mine. We are One. I did the works in Him but He gave Me His obedience, He emptied Himself and took the form of a slave and was obedient to Me for the joy that lay before Him He despised the shame.

When you, in the midst of a situation where there is a member of your family (whether it be parent, sibling, child, spouse, or more distant relative) or another, who has despised you in the past or done that which offended and hurt you, or even did not do that but has become a burden to you now due to an unhealthy and perhaps sinful and rebellious life style they chose and would  not listen to you which has brought them into a place of disability, addiction, imprisonment, sickness, or lack, who now seeks to have you serve them and take care of their needs in love, and you, instead of having a hard heart of resentment and pride, look at Me and say, “Here I am Lord, I come to do your Will, it is my delight.” It is the moment you give Me your heart as a servant heart that I give you My Heart. It is that moment that all the glory and love of Heaven pour into your heart with a joy that no person can take from you, whether they be nasty, ungrateful, naughty or nice. Suddenly, when you give Me a heart of willing obedience, I pour Myself, who am Love and Light, into your heart—the floodgates of Heaven open and I pour out a BLESSING you cannot contain—it overflows into the lives of those you are serving. And Love NEVER fails. They will see goodness in you and give praise to Me as their Heavenly Father who has shone into their lives through you, My ambassador and minister of reconciliation.

And by your light you have brought them into The Light. Go through your day as a Light, shining the way to My throne, serve everyone who comes into your path each day, be on the look out, to give them My joy and My light and My love. You are offering them the Word of life, an anchor of hope that goes beyond the veil. See yourself as the servant of all, shining in a dark world that is in need of the light in you.

And you will find that though you are serving, you are really the Master. Why? Have you never read, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18.

I make all things new. Old things have passed away. You are a new creation in Christ. Renew your mind in the Word and you will have the Word working in your life.

I love you. Just when you think you have laid down your life and lost it in humble service you will find that you gained the Kingdom of Heaven. For the greatest one among you is the one who serves the rest. Do you want to be great? Serve. Jesus understood and I have exalted Him above all. Why? He gave His life for all. Do not seek your own glory. Seek Mine and then My glory will rest on you. And there is no greater glory. I am El Shaddai. I have made you glorious in My eyes.
