These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:13-15.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
How do you know with complete confidence that I heard and answered your prayer so that when you stand to pray you know that what you have asked for you have received? How do you know with complete peace that what you asked for will come to pass so that you can lie down and go peacefully to sleep?
Pray and go to sleep in peace and your sleep will be sweet. I give to My beloved sleep. I never slumber or sleep. I am at work even till now and Jesus is as well. Get a sense of the righteousness you have in Christ and you will be far from oppression. Kings give a command and then rest. Angels hearken to My Word. Take Me at My Word.
But how are you sure that you have what you asked for? You pray My Word. Let Me explain. My beloved John, who knew that faith is the victory that overcomes the world because he had come to know and believe in the love that I have for him, wrote this: “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” 1 John 5:13-15.
If you get into My Word daily in the Bible and let it get into you, you will have a supernatural life. And when you get full of My Word, I show you the Kingdom. And you begin to live a whole new life.
Satan works at making believers think like the world because if you don’t think differently you cannot change a place. You cannot speak like a victim and be a victor. The Israelites I redeemed out of the slavery of Egypt saw themselves as victims, grasshoppers, that would be conquered. But they were wrong. I have given you the victory and that is your starting place in handling a challenge in this world. You are a victor not a victim. You can shift the atmosphere and change a place. You can multiply provisions and stop storms, but if you think you are a victim you will not take authority and you will not do anything but make matters worse and continue in the same low level of existence. If you are complaining what people are doing to you, you will never take dominion. I told Joshua no man could stand against him and wherever his feet tread it was his. And he believed that because I said it. He did not have to take antidepressants! And none of you should be either. Depression is a demon spirit and you have the authority to cast that spirit out. Instead Joshua meditated, spoke, and pondered on My Word day and night and he saw all of My good promises to him and his nation fulfilled.
You are going to have to use your faith and shift the oppression of the devil. Don’t let men or the devil or the world tell you who you are. Let Me tell you who you are! More than a conqueror. Look at what I told Joshua and how he got it. Joshua 1:1-9.
And I tell you to pray without ceasing. So what do you pray? The result that you want to come to pass—whether it be healing, restoration, deliverance, provision, wisdom, victory over things that are pulling you backwards in your walk with me, or protection. I speak the end from the beginning, and you should imitate Me as My dear children and partners in Christ. But you have to find it in My Word, you can take nothing I have not given from on High. But I have given you thousands of promises that cover every situation you can imagine. So delve into the treasure of My Word, Jesus is My Word, and in Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And He is in you by My Spirit. Be rooted and grounded in Him and draw all the grace you need from Him as a branch from the vine. And you do this in prayer. Prayer has many facets, just as conversation between intimate friends and family does. Let us talk about everything, but not from a begging victim mentality, as if I am withholding things from you. Come with confidence to My throne knowing that you are seated with Me already in Christ and that you are favored by Me. Christ has presented you before Me as holy, blameless, and beyond reproach. You are one to be welcomed, honored, and answered. I give you mercy and grace to cover all your needs and all your wants according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus, for in Him, I am pleased to give you the Kingdom. I have given you access to living in My Kingdom even now. And that is a whole new way of living.
So, how do you know I have heard and answered you? Faith is not a feeling. It is knowing My Word works and cannot fail. And it is knowing that I have authorized you to use My Words, that I have put them in your mouth, covered you with My hand, and given you My Spirit to establish My Kingdom on the earth. It is knowing your sins are forgiven in Christ as if they had never been and I remember them no more. You are right with Me with My own righteousness. Never forget that and go back to the slavery of sin a second time. You are not earning favor with Me, you have it, and are operating in that favor to do mighty exploits. And you learn from Me in prayer.
My Word is law. There are natural laws and spiritual laws and I set them all up. And they work the same for everyone. I am no respecter of persons, all qualify to come to Me and take My Son as Lord, and My laws work for everyone—the good and the bad. In the natural you have no doubts that if you put a book on the table it will not float off and hit the ceiling. You don’t even worry about that. Why? You believe in the law of gravity because you experience it every day. You know if you drop an object it will go down and not go up. Now, this may sound elementary but so is faith in My Word. What I said is law and if you operate in My law it will work for you. The perfect law of liberty. Why do I call it that? Because if you continue in My Word you will know the truth and it will set you free.
So, when you pray, find the Scripture passage that backs up your request and speak it out personalizing it to your life. And I watch over My Word to perform it. And Jesus is the High Priest of your confession (homologia, which is the Greek in which the New Testament was written, and it means speaking the same Word in agreement) and He is the only mediator between you and Me. He joins us as one and makes your words His own before Me when you agree with His Word. For how can two walk together unless they agree? And when you join your voice with His in agreement it is done.
In a way you are like a lawyer in court presenting to the judge the law that brings him victory in the matter. And even an unjust judge must comply with the law of the land in his rulings or get overturned on appeal and ultimately lose his position if he goes outside the law in his decisions. But I am a just judge, faithful and true, and when you pray anything according to My Word, My Law, I hear and answer. Ask and you shall receive good things. If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7. When you pray according to My Word (and My Word is My Will), I hear, and I give you your request. I keep My Word, it is established forever, and I cannot lie. The heavens and earth will pass away for new heavens and a new earth where peace and righteousness dwell and the curse is not more, but My Word will never pass away and will never change. It is imperishable seed. And it will always grow if you guard and cultivate it in the garden of your heart. It you but stand your ground, you will have the harvest. If you have children that have gone astray, declare that all your children are taught by Me and great is their peace until you see it come to pass. And do whatever I tell you to do to be a minister of reconciliation, to forgive, and to cover them with the Blood of Jesus by prayer. Love never fails and you conquer evil by good. Edify but do not nag. Build up and never tear down. There is a way I will lead you if you lean on Me and consult Me before acting. Jesus carefully considered His Words BEFORE He answered, especially in hostile situations. He would take the time to hear from Me first, and then respond. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger and you will stay in the light.
You can pray with complete confidence when you pray My Word. And you can find just the Word you need for that moment. Ask Me, and My Spirit in you will guide you to all truth and tell you of the things to come. And if you just don’t know what to pray, let the Spirit in you pray for you with your spirit. I am talking here about tongues. That is always praying according to My Will for My Spirit is leading you and giving you utterance, just like the day of Pentecost. So pray in the Spirit and ask for understanding.
I love you. Pray without ceasing but be careful how you pray. You are not a beggar but a believer. You are not a slave but a son. You are not a victim but a victor. You are not beneath but above where Christ is at My right hand. And you will not be overcome for you are an overcomer. Why? I am with you wherever you go and I am the Most High. Nothing is too hard for Me. And with Me in you, nothing is too hard for you either. Know that and have peace.
