Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
It is not about getting Me to do things, it is knowing that I will.
Your life with Me is about our relationship, not just obtaining things but blessed assurance that you have all things because of who I am to you and who you are to Me. Knowing that the minute you present a need, I have taken care of it. Knowing that I am with you to care for you.
I love you and will always love you. I will direct you, protect you, provide for you, heal you, and connect you. Relationship is confidence that when you call, I answer and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. It is coming to be in the Holy of Holies behind the veil and knowing that you are welcome, received with love, heard, and answered. It is coming to receive, not to beg, cajole, and plead for mercy, but to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.
It is knowing that when you express a need to Me, a problem to solve, a situation to unravel, or a response to make, that I have taken care of it for you. I am right there with you, so be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to Me first. And My peace, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7.
When you have true faith, that is, what My apostle Paul called “unfeigned faith,” it is a rest, not an anxious request that you are not sure will come about, but a confidence that I will take care of you. It is not getting Me to do something but knowing that I will. And even beyond that, it is the comfort of knowing that I already have taken care of it for you before you even asked. For I know what you need before you ask it.
So when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as unbelievers and confused people do who do not know Me or My Word, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, they have no relationship with Me. I know what you need before you ask Me. So pray something like this: “Our Father who is in heaven,” here you are praying to Me with Jesus, who is your brother and I am your Father, you are joint heirs to all I have, and He presents you to Me holy, blameless, and beyond reproach and, of course, you are seated with Him in Heaven already in My sight, so there you are just that easily in the spirit, at My throne of grace with your great High Priest ushering you in, “hallowed be Your name.” My Name is Holy and it makes you Holy, and it is a strong tower you run into and are safe. Let Me put My Name on you. Next, authorize My dominion and authority into the earth, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Bind on earth what has been bound in Heaven (all things pertaining to the curse, such as poverty, sickness and eternal death), and loose on earth what has been loosed in Heaven (prosperity, healing, and eternal life). “Give us this day our daily bread,” you will note it is already yours, “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Forgive as I have forgiven you. “And do not let us enter into temptation,” pray that you not be put to the test, for the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, “but deliver us from the evil one,” I am your deliverer, authorize Me to keep you from all harm. When you abide in My Word, the evil one cannot touch you.
As you have received the Lord Jesus, so live in Him. You received Him as My gift to you and with Him I have given you all things besides. I have given you in Him all you will ever need, so draw all you need and live your life through Him. You did no works to be saved, you received My gracious gift of salvation, Jesus, and that was all you needed to do to obtain so great a salvation. You are redeemed.
Do you remember that Martha, the sister of Lazarus and Mary, who lived with them in Bethany? When Jesus and His disciples traveled that way, Martha welcomed them into her home. Her sister, Mary, seated herself at the feet of Jesus, listening to His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she came up to Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42.
What is the necessary thing that makes all other things work together for good in your life? Well, what was Mary doing? She was developing relationship. She was growing in her knowledge of My Son by listening to My Word and through Him she encountered Me, for I was in Christ reconciling the world to Myself. And knowing Me and the One I sent, Jesus Christ, your Lord, is eternal life. It is blessed assurance that you will never be lost, that you will never be alone, that you will never have an unresolved problem again. It is coming to know and believe in the love I have for you. Faith, unfeigned faith, is the victory that overcomes every setback, trial, and disappointment in the world. And faith only comes one way, by hearing, and hearing My Word. Mary was growing in faith as she sat at the feet of Jesus and listened to His Words. And so do you. And without faith, which is a trusting relationship, it is impossible to please Me. You have the Old and New Testaments and My Spirit dwelling in you guiding you to all truth and telling you of the things to come.
If you are still anxious that I will not come through with your answer, if you are still praying long begging prayers in which you are trying to convince Me I really have to do whatever you are asking and do it now, then you do not really know Me. You do not know I am for you and that I withhold no good thing from you. I am the one that told you not to put off until tomorrow the good you can do today for your neighbor in need. I keep My Word. If you are anxious and afraid that I will not meet your needs, you do not know who I AM, that I AM the LORD who heals YOU. That I AM the LORD who looks ahead and provides for you. That I AM the LORD your righteousness. That I AM the LORD your refuge, your deliverer, and your HELPER. That I AM the LORD your Shepherd and that there is nothing you shall want. That I AM the LORD who redeems you. And you have forgotten the cleansing of your sins by the Blood of My Son.
It is not about getting Me to do things, it is knowing I will take care of things. It is not about how well you perform and how many days you fast and how many prayers you say, it is about who I AM. I forgive you because of who I AM and who I made My Son to be. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. You do not earn a gift, it is freely given. You own it and all that is in it. And you do not beg for what you already own.
There still remains a Sabbath rest for My people. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as I did from Mine. Be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall, through following the same example of disobedience of the Israelites in the desert who did not trust that I would take care of them. For My Word is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:9-12.
Align with My authority in your heart and then speak it with you mouth, declare and decree it, and it shall be done for you. Prayer is not begging, it is receiving. You are on assignment, send in your requisition slip and the applies were come forth to where you are located. Begin to be possibility minded instead of impossibility minded. Pray in the spirit and let us join in moving a mountain. Just know I will take care of you.
I love you. I am with you. I will never leave you or forsake you. All I have is yours—the Kingdom, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, you are not trying to get anything from Me. You own it all. Just build up and develop your faith by meditating on My Word until you know that you do not need to persuade Me to do things for you and give you good things, instead you are fully persuaded that I will do things for you and give you good things every time, all the time, for all time and eternity.
