When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist has sent us to You, to ask, ‘Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?’” Luke 7:20.
For the Son of God, Christ Jesus, who was preached among you by us—by me and Silvanus and Timothy—was not yes and no, but is yes in Him. For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge. 2 Corinthians 1:19-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
It is very important you keep your word. Why? Otherwise your body never knows if you are telling the truth or lying. And nothing in you takes your words seriously. You must be established on the rock of My Word if you want to see the promises held therein come to pass. Do not tell people you are going to be somewhere at a certain time unless you take that commitment so seriously that no matter what else comes up you will be there. Many are called but few are chosen. Why? I choose you all but many of you just don’t show up and, consequently, you miss your visitation.
I never make a promise that I do not perform. I watch over My Word to perform it. I am not “yes” and “no,” in Christ Jesus I am only “yes” to you.
I told the Israelites to write My Words on the doorposts of their houses and on their gates. I told them to keep them always before their eyes, to bind them on their wrists and keep them on their foreheads. I told them to teach them diligently to their children and to talk of them when they sat in their homes and when they walked by the way and when they lay down and when they rose up. Deuteronomy 6:6-8. It is very comprehensive. It is the same as I told Joshua as his strategy for success in conquering the evil inhabitants of the Promised Land, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will make your way prosperous and have success.” Joshua 1:8.
When you stay grounded in My Word and your words match Mine, when you continue to cling to My Word and go deeper and deeper into the depths of the meaning in My Words, you become My disciples, and you know the truth, and the truth will set you free. You will be free of encumbrance, of the curse, of entrapments, of addictions, of anything that would rule over you to lead you into darkness and destruction. Do not accept everything that comes against you, if anything comes against you it is not from Me, and if it is not from Me you must resist it. You are healed by the stripes of Jesus but you must defend what you have from the thief who comes only to steal, kill and destroy your possessions in Christ. In Heaven there is no fight to keep what is yours, there is no thief, no evil, no death, no destruction in Heaven, but there is on earth as it is now in its corrupted condition. But you can resist that in your life. Faith is not passive. It is a conqueror, it is a victor. What is the victory that overcomes the world? Our faith. It is My faith that I give you but you must build it and use it as your own. You can give your child great wealth, but what they do with it is up to them, but it should be based on the training and instruction you give them that determines how they handle it. But like the prodigal son, there are those who rebel against what is good for them and squander their inheritance, and also there are those like the elder brother who never even know what they have so they never use it but just let it sit dormant all their lives. And although they erred different ways, both of them are wrong and wasted the precious inheritance the Father gave them.
Are you using, misusing or not using what I have given you in Christ? Because in Him I gave you EVERYTHING I have. Why are you asking, begging, and crying out to Me for what you have? Receive it, use it, and put it on. There is nothing that should cause you alarm. You already HAVE the answer.
Is sickness upon you? No fear, you have a Healer in YOU, that is, if you have taken Jesus as Lord of your life. You have the Holy Spirit in you by whom I raised Jesus from the dead! Power to heal beyond all you can ask or imagine. And that power is WORD activated. Have you never read, “death and life are in the power (“hand” is the literal translation) of your tongue?” My Word made everything, including you, and I send My Word to heal you. USE IT. Submit to Me, which means to My Word, RESIST the devil and he has to flee from you. There is no question. You have healing, I gave it to you in My Son, and it is yours now. The woman with the hemorrhage of twelve years came crawling to take hold of that power in My Son, but after He died for your sins and I raised Him from the dead, and raised you up with Him free of your sins, He baptized you in the Holy Spirit and that same power that was in Him is now IN YOU. So when sickness, pain, malfunction comes in to your body, submit to My Word, speak out to resist that spirit of infirmity and pain, declare that you have healing, that Christ bore your sicknesses and pains, that by His stripes you are healed, AND KNOW THAT IT IS IN YOU AND IT IS YOURS, and then stand your ground. Look that spirit in the eye and tell it where to go in Jesus’ Name. And if you stick on that, it will have to leave. And be advised that once you get it out, it will try to come back again with seven worse than itself. But you must be vigilant and keep your possessions. And you can. The devil did not leave Jesus Himself alone after just one round. He kept waiting for another opportunity. You will have trials in this life, and that is due to the first man and woman leaving My jurisdiction and releasing the jurisdiction of the devil into the earth for the rest of man’s leasehold, but the day will come when that leasehold is up and My Son will open the scroll, the title deed to the earth, with its seven seals, and I will take back My earth and cleanse it from the curse that Adam released into the earth. And the devil knows his time is short for all prophecy has almost been fulfilled and the leasehold is soon to expire.
But you who should know Me by now, as Jesus told Thomas, sometimes surprise Me. Just as John the Baptist did. I gave you My unique one and only begotten Son and with Him I gave you everything. Just as I made the earth and all that is in it, fully supplied to replenish and perpetuate with all you would need, before I placed Adam and Eve there. So when I gave you My one and only unique precious begotten Son I gave you all you will ever need for time and eternity. You are in Covenant with Me in Him and all I have is yours and My Name and His Name (which are one and the same) is now your family name too. And yet you will act like you have nothing and get angry at Me for withholding things from you that you already OWN. You just do not know what you have and are often wasting what you have on frivolous pursuits. Like Samson.
Remember John the Baptist? He saw My Holy Spirit descend on Jesus. He heard My voice say He was My Son on whom My favor rests. He knew that was the one to come, the promised Messiah, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And you may say that too. But remember what he did when he got himself in big time trouble by going after Herod? I directed John to baptize at the Jordan and bring those who came to confess their sins to repentance and point them to My Son. He knew his mission and told it to the priests and Levites who came from Jerusalem early in his ministry to ask him who he was that he was out at the Jordan baptizing those who repented of sin, and he told them he was not the Messiah, he was not Elijah, and he was not the Prophet, that he was “ A voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the LORD,’ as written by the prophet Isaiah. John 1:19-27. Herod never came to repent or be baptized. And you will notice that when Jesus was before Herod, He did not say a word to him. John stepped out of his mission, it caused him grave disappointment, made him doubt his vision, and made him send two of his disciples to ask Jesus if He was the One or if they were to look for another? Instead of taking authority he backed off. My just one shall live by faith but if he shrinks back what is left for Me to work with in your life? He shut Me out of the solution by doubt. But I maintained that up to the time of John’s birth there was no man born of woman greater than he.
But go back to John’s question out of disappointment of the turn in his life. He had great success, crowds were coming to him to confess their sins and be baptized in repentance in the Jordan in preparation to hearing the Kingdom message of My Son. And yet when he had a disappointment, he was ready to completely give up and look for someone else. Are you like that? Disappointment can bring doubt or it can be a time to turn about and fight the good fight of faith to take hold of the One who already has hold of you.
I gave you My only begotten Son. If you start begging Me for what I already gave you in Him and asking for it all over again like you have nothing, I do not have another only begotten Son to give you. He is the last Adam. He is the perfect Man and He is God. I reconciled you to Myself in Him, gave you all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Him, gave you Him to be wisdom for you, redemption, righteousness, and sanctification. I took all your sins and imputed them to Him. I counted His punishment as your justification, I counted His death as your sentence fulfilled, and I raise Him from the dead, and you with Him, with all your sins gone like they had never been. In Him I gave you every spiritual blessing in the heavens, I gave you all you need for life and godliness, and I gave you provision according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I gave you My only begotten Son and made you a JOINT HEIR with Him, making you in His same standing before Me, I gave you My Holy Spirit, My POWER is now in you (and that is Resurrection power), and I gave you My KINGDOM. And all your answers and provision come from there. Then, you may ask, why do I not see all this in my life? And My answer is the same as the father to the elder son: “My child, you are WITH ME ALWAYS and EVERYTHING I have is yours, but you have to receive it, you have to take it, you have to make use of it, and you HAVE TO POSSESS YOUR POSSESSIONS. You have to be really to fight the good fight of faith to keep them from being taken from you or just to keep yourself from sliding into the mentality of the world, the flesh and the devil which is a LACK mentality. The Israelites I redeemed from Egypt came out healed, not a feeble one among them, after eating the Passover Lamb and covering their doorposts with its blood, and they came out loaded with silver and gold and garments thought they had been slaves with nothing. And I gave them manna, quail and water from rocks. And yet they always saw themselves with lack and screamed, grumbled, complained, and blamed Me that I was withholding good from them every time a circumstance looked contrary to My Words to them. But as I told Moses, stop crying at Me and raise your staff and authorize Me to go to work in your life. You have My promise already, do you think I cannot perform it? Nothing is too hard for Me. Nothing is impossible for Me, and everything is possible to those who believe that, speak it, and act on it. Like Caleb. Like Joshua. Like Mary. Like Paul. Like YOU.
And remember what Jesus told John was the proof of who He was and who He is in you? At the time the messengers came from John to ask if they were to look for another, Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. So He replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. Blessed is anyone who does not stumble on account of Me.” Luke 7:21-23. What, then, shall I say in response to these things? If I AM for you, who can be against you? I who did not spare My own Son, but gave him up for you all—how will I not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:31-33.
I love you. Where is your faith? I have given you My Son and I cannot give you another. You have everything. And I want you to know, you will fight for what you have much easier than you will fight for what you do not have. Next time you have need of healing, just come to My throne of GRACE with confidence and find healing is there already in your account and receive (make a withdrawal there before Me) just what you need at the moment. And when you ask, you shall receive, for you own it already. And when you receive you are thankful even before you see it go to work. You have it and acknowledge it before Me and all the angels. And you angel will be sure to bring it to you out of your heavenly account. I gave all to you in My Son and there is no other way to Me. Do not ask for another. You already have EVERYTHING. Use it, enjoy it, and have no more fear. You will find a whole new way to live, as an owner, a possessor, a victor, an overcomer, and above all My beloved child who is with Me always and EVERYTHING I have is yours. Come partake of My divine nature, I have opened it to you in Jesus, there is no other. You already have Him. From His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace. Isn’t it time you did an inventory? You will find what you are seeking because you already have right there IN you. Shalom.
