“I will betroth you to Me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, in lovingkindness and in compassion, and I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will know the Lord. It will come about in that day that I will answer,” declares the Lord. “I will answer to the heavens, and they will answer to the earth, and the earth will answer to the grain, to the new wine and to the oil, and they will answer to Jezreel (God who sows). Hosea 2:19-21.

And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the Word.” Mark 4:13-14

And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.” Matthew 13:37.

Now the parable is this: the seed is the Word of God. Luke 8:11.

Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

One of My Names in the Bible is Jezreel. Hosea 2:21. It means “God sows.” I am the God who sows. You may be wondering what I sow, but what does a sower sow? Seed. And why does he sow it? To harvest what is in the seed. In the seed is the plan and the ability to perform it when activated and cultivated in the proper conditions to produce whatever kind of seed it is. If it is wheat seed, a harvest of wheat will come. If it is an acorn, a mighty oak will grow. If it is an avocado seed, an avocado tree will grow. I could go on, but you get the idea. I sow seed. And I sow it in your heart. The seed I sow is My Word and your heart is the soil. And My Word is living and working and when you receive it into the soil of your heart and cultivate it to maturity it has the power to save your souls and produce the promise it contains in your life. Some thirty, some sixty and some one hundred-fold. You determine your harvest. It depends on how much seed you permit Me to plant in your life, and you have control of your Word intake, and how carefully you cultivate it. The more diligent you are about this, the bigger your harvest. But that is the case even in the natural, as a farmer determines the type and size of his harvest by the kind and the amount of seed he plants and the care he takes of ensuring its growth until harvest.

Seed, time and harvest. This is the way the Word operates and I am My Word. So you see I am actually sowing Myself into your heart to produce the harvest of the divine nature in you. Christ in you, your hope of Glory. And He is My Word joined with your flesh. Son of God and Son of Man. And in Him you too are born of men and born of God.

The first parable Jesus told, do you recall what it is about? A sower sowing seed. Do you see? Blessed are your eyes because they see and your hearts because they hear. So listen now to the parable of the sower:

“Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow; as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:3-9.

But that was not enough for the disciples to understand. They asked for further explanation. So Jesus gave it to them, but it is also meant for you:

Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. In a similar way these are the ones on whom seed was sown on the rocky places, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy; and they have no firm root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are the ones on whom seed was sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:23-20. The seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the Word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with perseverance. Luke 8:15. Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the Word implanted, which is able to save your souls. James 1:21.

You are made in My image. I am a sower. That is the way I do things and get results. And that is the way you should do them too. You give to receive. You sow to harvest. If what you have is not enough for your need, turn it into a seed and plant it. I give seed to the sower and bread to the eater.

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Give and it shall be given to you, good measure, poured down, shaken together will they pour into your bosom. Each of you must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for I love a cheerful giver. Pray about it and as I inspire you, so give, and once you have determined what you are to give stick with that. And I am able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. When you scatter seed abroad, and give to the poor, your righteousness endures forever. For your righteousness comes from Me. I supply seed to the sower and bread for food and I will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; you will be enriched in everything for all liberality producing thanksgiving to My goodness in you.

Once in a time of famine when it seemed that nothing would grow, I told Isaac to plant seed. That seemed strange to all around him. They thought it was a waste of good seed. But it was not. I opened underground wells for him. His sowing in obedience brought a miraculous hundred fold harvest that same year to the amazement and envy of the citizens of that place. You sow to reap. Never feel that you are unable to sow because you have not much to give. If what you have is not enough to meet your need, turn it into a seed and sow it in good soil. Elijah asked a widow I had designated to supply his need in time of famine for a cake of bread and a cup of water. That was all she had and she was going to prepare it and eat it with her son as their last meal, and it really was not enough for the two of them. Elijah told her that if she would sow it to him, My prophet, the food would not run out and she would harvest supply for the rest of the famine time. She took the step of faith and turned what she had into a seed that she planted into a prophet’s life. And that produced a prophet’s reward in her life. She and her son not only had plenty to eat along with Elijah as he stayed with her, but when her son became ill and died, I used Elijah to raise him from the dead and return him to her. When she sowed her last meal instead of eating it in obedience to a word from Me from My prophet Elijah, she reaped far more than what she sowed, but that is always the case, you always get back more than you sow when you plant seed. That is the way it works in the natural in agriculture and that is the way it works in the supernatural in the spirit realm.

I am the God who sows. I sow My Word. I sowed My Son who is the ultimate expression of My Word clothed in flesh living what My Word contains. I sow imperishable seed. And of that imperishable seed you were born again and became a new creation in Christ. The grass withers and the flower fades but My Word endures forever. And that is the Word that has been preached to you. That is the Word that you have received into you heart. It has the POWER to save you in every situation, spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial.

And I sow My life into each one of you and that life is in My Son who is My Word. You have the Word of life in you. And you can plant that seed in others too by sharing that Word with them. And what you plant will yield a harvest if you persevere. In yourself and others. That is why when you believe in the Lord Jesus you and your whole household are saved. The seed implanted will grow and spread.

So how do you receive the seed of My Word? Jesus told you. By not allowing Satan to steal it out of your heart by discrediting My Word when you hear it and finding it unimportant. By not giving up each time you meet with opposition or persecution and abandoning My Word. By not allowing the cares, disappointments, contrary circumstances, trials, tests, lusts, and vain philosophies of this world to choke it off. By sticking with the Word and standing on it even when it looks impossible to come to pass. And by never stopping to sow seed. I love a generous and cheerful giver. Why? Because that means you are trusting Me to supply your need so that you can continue to have all sufficiency yourself and supply the needs of others in abundance of every good work. Never entertain doubt and unbelief. Value My Word as it really is, My Word to you, and cherish it in your heart. Guard it with all diligence and you shall have peace beyond all understanding, even in the midst of famine all around. Like Elijah. Like the widow who took him in. You may not be the one that is doing the preaching, but you may be the one I have designated to supply the one doing it. Both are equally important in My eyes. Whatever your calling and gift, do it with all your heart unto Me and not just to please men.

Be rich towards Me by sowing your life into Me as I sow Mine into you.

When you speak, as when I do, you are sowing. So if you do not like what is currently growing in your life you need to look at what seeds you are planting. By your words you are acquitted and by your words you are condemned. I have shared My Words with you, coming down as seed to the sower and bread to eat. Use them. Return them. They do not return void but achieve the purpose for which I sent them. The plan and the power to produce it are in the seed. My Words are imperishable seeds. Plant them everywhere and you shall begin to see the garden of Eden grow and replenish the earth.

I love you. I will never leave you or forsake you. When you received Jesus, you received the imperishable seed of My Word and by it you were born again unto a great harvest of believers who form the Body on earth of My Son doing the works He did and greater. Never underestimate the power of a seed. A seed contains the plan that produces a harvest of what it contains. Be careful what you plant. There is My seed. And there is the devil’s seed. Up to you which one you sow, but you will reap what you sow. Think about that before you start grumbling and complaining or speaking negative things into your life or the lives of your children, spouse, family and friends. Let your words edify. Your words, like Mine, are seeds that you sow. Do you see why death and life are in the power of your tongue? You are always sowing when you speak. Selah.
