Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame. Isaiah 49:23.
“Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?” Surely, thus says the LORD, “Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, and the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; for I will contend with the one who contends with you.” Isaiah 49:25.
Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!” Psalm 40:16; Psalm 70:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Those who HOPEFULLY wait for Me will not be put to shame. Not the one who just “waits,” but waits with confident expectation of good, that is, that no matter what mess you are in I will work it all out for your good. Seek My face. Stay in My hand. I will contend with the one who contends against you. Cling to Me, abide in Me, I am pleased to deliver you and help you. Psalm 40:13. Let those be ashamed and humiliated together who seek to destroy you. I will turn back and dishonor those who delight in your hurt. Psalm 40:14.
David sang, “Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path because of those who lie in wait for me. Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out violence. I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD. Be strong and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:11-14. You see that is waiting in hope: “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Without hope you despair. But hope does not disappoint when it is founded on My Word.
For I am your Light and Salvation, whom should you fear? There is no one and nothing that can overcome Me. And I am yours and am in you. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
David understood this. He sang, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the refuge of my life; whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, my adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell. Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident. One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock!” Psalm 27:1-5.
When you hopefully wait for Me you do it by taking refuge in Me. No one who takes refuge in Me will be condemned. Psalm 34:22. I help you and deliver you. I deliver you from the wicked and save you because you take refuge in Me. Psalm 37:40. Wait for Me and keep My keep My Way and you will be secure. Psalm 37:45. I am the savior of those who take refuge at My right hand. Psalm 17:7. And that is where Jesus is seated ever interceding for you. Hebrews 1:3.
David sang, “Let those who love your salvation say CONTINUALLY, ‘The LORD be magnified.” Psalm 40:16. I will tell you the secret of victory over everything that comes against you no matter how tremendous and hopeless it seems. Magnify Me and minimize your problem.
This should be your motto. David sang, “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” And this delivered him from all his fears. Psalm 34:3-4.
And this is exactly what he did with Goliath. David magnified Me until Goliath seemed so small a challenge that he could bring him down with one small stone and a sling shot.
When you magnify something, you make it bigger. When you use a magnifying glass the thing you focus on becomes hundreds of times larger than the other things around it. Think of how David spoke about and to the giant Goliath while others ran in fear to their tents. They magnified Goliath and minimized Me. David told the astonished King Saul, “the LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:37. And as David faced Goliath who spoke arrogantly to him to make him feel small and inadequate against him attempting to put fear in him to destroy him, but David stood up strong in Me and got the last word in as he answered, “You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD’s and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:45-47. David had not read Mark 11:22-23, but he spent time with Me and knew Me. He spoke to the mountain with faith in Me and the mountain came down, just as he declared. He magnified Me and minimized the enemy. And the enemy went down. 1 Samuel 17:48-50. He knew I would fight the battle for Him. I was bigger than any problem he would ever face. He magnified Me and with Me at his right hand he was not disturbed.
Even when he fell into the sin he regretted all his life, David magnified My mercy above his sin until My mercy became so big he was confident that I would not forsake him but would receive him and cleanse him of that sin. Instead of letting the sin overwhelm him and destroy his destiny, he magnified My mercy and lovingkindness until he was able to go on in his high calling. Just read Psalm 51.
For I have magnified My Word according to all My name. Psalm 138:2. Never let go of My Name or My Word. My Word is your lifeline. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions.
Dare to dream of palaces of hope and goodness extreme, of places of refuge filled with life and peace where Jesus is King where all will increase in wisdom and knowledge and treasures of gold and no one’s life is on “hold.” Marching forward in love, united in prayer as lights in the darkness fully aware of the signs of the times and the tactics of him who steals, kills and destroys and ushers in sin. Speaking the truth in love to all who will hear as that great and wonderful Day of the LORD draws near. Forever in Him, as in Jesus’ great Name you conquer and win.
I love you. Magnify My love, Magnify My Name, Magnify My Word. Enlarge these. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Focus on Him as with a magnifying glass. Focus on the victory. Yes, magnify Me and minimize your problem and watch the victory come as you walk off carrying the spoils. Never see anything that comes against you as bigger than Me. Nothing is too hard for Me. Nothing is impossible for Me. And all things are possible to those who believe that. Let those who love My Salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified.” For you know whose Name is Salvation? Surely you do. He is My Son and His Name is called “Yeshuah” (Jesus), which in Hebrew is the word “Salvation.” For I have magnified My Word according to all My name. Psalm 138:2.
Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; let those who love Your salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!” Psalm 40:16; Psalm 70:4.
