And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-13.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Gratitude is an attitude that you need to cultivate and grow to have joy unspeakable filled with glory.
Jesus did not entrust Himself to everyone, for He knew all men. He knew what was in a man. He knows those who are His own and those who are not. John 2:23-25
What is in you? If you believe, let Me tell the answer: Eternal life.
I so loved the world that I gave My only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. My testimony to you is this, that I have given you eternal life and that life is in My Son. 1 John 5:11. Whoever has the Son has the life, he who does not have My Son does not have the life. 1 John 5:12. I want you to know that all you who believe in the Name of My Son have eternal life. 1 John 5:13.
This is the promise I Myself gave you before the foundation of the world: eternal life. 1 John 2:25; Titus 1:2. I have put eternity in your heart, Christ in you, your hope of glory. And He baptized you in the Holy Spirit and fire. The Holy Spirit is in you and on you forever. John 14:16-17. And it is the Holy Spirit that gives life to your mortal bodies and raises you from the dead. The Holy Spirit is the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. My Holy Spirit. And that same resurrection power is how I raise you to newness of life. Even now He is given to you as a pledge to seal you in the Covenant of love that will unite you with Me forever, alive and glorious, with My own majesty and beauty as your own. Uniquely you but forever as one with Me. And that is eternal life, to know Me, the one true God, and the one I sent, Jesus Christ.
My promise is eternal life. But Jesus also called the gift of the Holy Spirit in you and on you “the Promise of the Father.” And the moment He had released you by His blood from all your sins and returned to My throne in Heaven, He received the Promised Holy Spirit from Me and poured Him out on you. Acts 2:33. Jesus baptizes you in the Holy Spirit and fire. John 1:33; Matthew 3:11.
What is that fire? The fire of love that sets your heart aflame also. Remember the disciples walking on the road to Emmaus the day I raised Jesus from the dead? Their hearts were cold and depressed, hardened to see what had taken place in the light of My prophetic Word and the Words of Jesus foretelling them what was to come in his death and resurrection. They closed their eyes and ears to My Word and only walked in what they saw with their physical senses. But My Son broke into their depressed conversation and revealed Himself to them in My Word from Moses, to the prophets, to all the Scriptures, and what happened? The cold hearts began to burn. They were set aflame. Luke 24:32. And how did it happen? The revelation of My Word.
Love relentlessly consumes all that is not love, it consumes fear, darkness, sin, evil, sickness, grief and pain. Love never fails. In the end these three remain: faith, hope and love, and the greatest of these is love.
Love alone will win the throne.
Love gives you eternal life. I am love.
There is only one way to abide in Me, you must think in love, walk in love and talk in love. There is no other way. And what is thinking, walking and talking in love? Well, I set it out in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. So don’t be mystified as to what love enables you to do when you abide in Me: Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
Watch out for the little foxes that eat the fruit on your branch. I am speaking of anger, bitterness, gossip, malice, and harboring ill will.
Jesus told you that in the last days, the love of many will grow cold out of fear. Fear puts out the fire of love. What and who you fear, you will hate. Fear of the intent of another to do you harm, will cause you to hate them. Fear has to do with punishment or of not having what you need.
You never hate someone who forgives and gives you all your need. Whose heart is set on seeing to your good. You love those who are always on your side no matter what you have done.
And your heart will be on fire when you know the truth of My love and who I am to you and what I did for you in Christ. David sang that “this I know, God is for me.” And when I am for you, who or what can come against you?
Serving Me because you are so enthralled with who I am and what I stand for, that you are on fire for My cause and purpose, that is worship. Serving for fear of punishment is not worship but selfish, it is “self-focused.” Serving Me to gain a reward for yourself is not true worship for it is self-focused on your own glory and not on furthering the cause I stand for.
You see people do this in the flesh realm even. They will expend great amounts of their time and money to further the political campaign of one who stands for a cause they believe in without seeking any glory for themselves. They just are working to see the one they believe in nominated. And that is worship for it is not self-focused.
I am not harsh or a hard taskmaster I am gentle and humble of heart and your souls will find rest for My yoke is easy and My burden light. Learn from Me how to live to love and live to give. And your joy will be full.
You must learn to resist evil. It starts with taking your thoughts captive and controlling your speech. If you get a cough or stuffy noise, do not immediately fall into fear and imagine you are sick with a deadly virus. Stand up and resist it and declare that you are healed. Because if you are in Christ Jesus you are. And you can have it. Speak what you want and speak it from My Word.
Satan needs fear to work in our life just as I need faith to work in your life. If you allow fear, you allow evil access into your life. There should be no fear in the Body of Christ. Satan needs fear to do things to you. Like Job. I make it very clear I did not cause the destruction that came into Job’s life. It was Satan, the destroyer. I had put a hedge around Job that protected him, as I do about you, it is a shield of faith. How did the devil get through that hedge? Job opened the door to him. Do you recall what Job told you about his mental condition? “For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, and I am not at rest, but turmoil comes.” Job 3:25-26. Jesus gave you His peace, but He told you that you had a part to keep it—do not let your heart be troubled, do not let it be afraid!
But David resisted the spirit of fear, he knew that I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. He resisted by his songs, “I sought the LORD and He answered me and delivered me from all My fears!” and “even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil for you are with me with Your rod and your staff that give me courage.” What was he doing? Magnifying Me to such a degree by declaring who I was to him that the problem became very small in comparison. The faith kicked out the fear.
Never respond to a bad report or any attack of the devil with fear. Bow down to fear and her comes what you bow down to. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve fear and faith.
Without fear Satan cannot do anything to you. He needs fear like I need faith. NO MATTER WHAT SATAN HAS DONE, YOU CAN UNDO IT BY FAITH. “The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to undo the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8. Just switch from fear to faith.
And do not think if you win one battle the devil will retreat forever. He will keep testing you to get you to give in to fear, but if you resist him, he cannot do anything but flee. Like he did with Jesus, but he kept looking for another opportunity.
If you understand righteousness and walk in it you will be far from oppression. You have to become aware that I reside within you by My Spirit. If you live from the inside out knowing who is in you, you will become invincible. Guilt, shame, and low self-esteem will not let your righteousness in Me shine through. You will fear instead of having confident faith. My Word is not enough for you to believe if you fear, but when you know who you are, the forgiveness you have in Christ, and the righteousness you have from Me, then My Word is all the evidence you need that what I promised will come to pass. No fear. And it is then the extraordinary becomes the ordinary in your life for you are already in eternal life, for the Kingdom of Heaven is within you, accessed by the One Spirit.
And you know the Way, the Truth and the Life. And He is the only way to Me, the way of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. You are on the Highway of Holiness and you will enter Zion singing.
I love you. What is in YOU? You should know the answer now: ETERNAL LIFE.
