Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He delivered them out of their distresses. He led them also by a straight, level way, to go to an inhabited city. Psalm 107:6-7.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their bands apart. Psalm 107:13-14.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:19-20.

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses. He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet, so He guided them to their desired haven. Psalm 107:28-30.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

It is finished. All has been answered. You have reached a safe haven. The city of refuge, it is there unintentional sins qualify you to run to the city of refuge and the destroyer cannot get in there. And on the Cross, Jesus said that none of you are intentional sinners. “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.”

And now, everyone who calls on My Name will be saved, snatched away, escape. Call on Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. I am abounding in riches for all who call upon Me.  Romans 10:12-13.

In Psalm 107 I tell you what to do when you are in trouble. Many of you right now feel like you are trouble. And you think there is no way of escape. But I have promised you that I will never let you be tried beyond your strength but provide for you a way out. It may not look like there is a way, but I make a way where there is no way. A new and living way by which you come straight to My throne to find mercy and obtain grace just when you need it. The Israelites trapped for many years in the harsh slavery of Egypt thought there was no way out of their slavery. But there was. And how did they initiate it? I told Moses how they did that, they cried out to Me in their trouble and I came down to save them and take them out of their distresses to take them to a wonderful place. Here is what I told Him of why I had showed up on earth, “said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite. Now, behold, the cry of the sons of Israel has come to Me; furthermore, I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians are oppressing them.” Exodus 3:7-9. Their cry came unto Me and I came to redeem. The same for Jonah when he cried out to Me in the depths of the sea. I pulled him out by an unusual way.

I am abounding in riches for all who call upon Me, for whoever calls on My Name is saved.

Now in Psalm 107 I tell you this remedy to your destructions, pits and places that bind you in stress and fear. Cry out to Me in your trouble. And in that Psalm, every place of trouble the psalmist discusses happens because the one that got into it did wrong and got himself into it.

So now consider Psalm 107, the Psalm of the redeemed. It begins: “Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary.” Psalm 107:1-3. It starts with a direction for the redeemed, and it a direction to give thanks for My goodness and everlasting love, so if you have received Jesus as Lord you are among the redeemed and should be doing this. Why? Because it will give you peace and victory if the adversary is coming after you. Declare that you are redeemed and praise Me for that and the enemy will have to back off and flee from you. I can do something awesome for you if you will just declare My goodness and love in an adverse situation. Go for the victory.

Next, you find the situation where you are wandering around in the wilderness and cannot seem to find your way out to a place of abundance. Some of you feel like that now, but listen to what you need to do: “They wandered in the wilderness in a desert region; they did not find a way to an inhabited city. They were hungry and thirsty; their soul fainted within them. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He delivered them out of their distresses. He led them also by a straight, level way, to go to an inhabited city.” Psalm 107:4-8. Do you see? They cried out to Me, the Covenant keeping God, in their trouble, and I delivered them out of their distresses and led them to just the place they longed to be, and I made the path straight and smooth. And how should you respond? “Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.” Psalm 103:9-10. When you cry to Me I give you good things. I am your Father.

The next situation is those of you who have gotten yourselves trapped in darkness and a place of death by your worry and fear and evil speech, bound in misery and chains of fear, stress, anger, regret and bitterness, this is a place of rebellion, though many of you don’t think so but you are not doing My Word and your words are stout against Mine. There is nothing I can do for you when you are not willing to speak the victory and the forgiveness before you see or feel it. “There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in misery and chains, necause they had rebelled against the words of God and spurned the counsel of the Most High. Therefore He humbled their heart with labor;  they stumbled and there was none to help.” So what was the answer and the deliverance. I think you know by now: “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death and broke their bands apart.” I do this oftentimes for man. And what should be the response even before you see the victory, “Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! For He has shattered gates of bronze and cut bars of iron asunder.” Declare the good result you want from My mighty arm before you are overwhelmed and cannot rise, but I have made you kings and priests and they decree and declare to get results.

Next is the situation where you have openly done wrong and evil in My sight, you are in a place of shame and the wages of sin are catching up with you, “Fools, because of their rebellious way, and because of their iniquities, were afflicted. Their soul abhorred all kinds of food, and they drew near to the gates of death.” Sound like you? Well, if it is, here is your answer, “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses.” My hand is mighty to save, but look what I sent as the lifeline: “He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalm 107:20. My Word is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh. If you are sinking fast under your trouble, get FULL of My Word of victory, of triumph, of redemption, of salvation, and you will get through. Get in My presence where there is fullness of joy and spend time there with Me. And how do you spend time with Me? By fellowshipping with Me reading and declaring My Word. And your response? “Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! Let them also offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of His works with joyful singing.” Get filled with My Spirit by giving thanks and praise and singing of My works with joy! Try it.

Now here is another case. You are just navigating your way through life and you end up traveling right into the middle of a storm. When you thought you were secure, you really were sitting on a situation that has turned into a bomb. Many of you are in a storm now, either about your work, your relationships, your finances, your health or other issues, and a stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea has come upon you. “They rose up to the heavens, they went down to the depths; their soul melted away in their misery. They reeled and staggered like a drunken man, and were at their wits’ end.” So what do you do? You know the answer now,  you cry to Me. “Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.” And how did I answer their cry? “He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed.  Then they were glad because they were quiet, so He guided them to their desired haven.” And your response? “Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! Let them extol Him also in the congregation of the people, and praise Him at the seat of the elders.”

If you are in trouble, let Me walk you through it by My Word. Stay in My presence as much as you possibly can and times of refreshing come from Me.

Call on Me. Cry to Me. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading into fear again but you have received a spirit of adoption (sonship) as sons by which you cry out “Abba, Father.”

I am not hard to find, you know. When you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you. Call, ask, seek, knock, I am available 24/7. Whoever calls on My Name will be saved. Just call, I answer.

I love you. Cry out to Me in your trouble and I will deliver you from all your distresses. Cry out. But what should you cry out? Simple, “Abba, Father.” Or you can just say, “Papa.” I am your desired haven.
