You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue. There shall be an opening for his head at its top in the middle of it; around its opening there shall be a binding of woven work, like the opening of a coat of mail, so that it will not be torn. You shall make on its hem pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material, all around on its hem, and bells of gold between them all around: a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, all around on the hem of the robe. It shall be on Aaron for ministering; and its tinkling sound shall be heard when he enters and comes out of the holy place before the LORD, so that he will not die. Exodus 18:31-35.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

I have been wanting to talk with you about the bells at the hymn of the robe of the High Priest. And remember that Jesus is now your great High Priest. The things I showed Moses under the Old Covenant were shadows of the good things to come in the New Covenant and Jesus is the substance of those shadows. My beloved John told you this, “What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the Word of Life—and the life was manifested, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested to us—what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. These things we write, so that our joy may be made complete.” 1 John 1:1-4.

I instructed Moses in great detail about the vestments to be made for the High Priest. I told Moses to bring Aaron his brother, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to minister as priest to Me—Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons. And to make holy garments for Aaron for glory and for beauty. Moses was to speak to all the skillful persons whom I had endowed with the spirit of wisdom, that they would make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he would minister as priest to Me. Exodus 28:1-3. And the garments of the High Priest were all pointing to truths realized in Jesus. And they were majestic in beauty, with threads pounded from pure gold, scarlet, blue and purple as well white linen material, with precious gems engraved as a signet ring with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel on the shoulders and breastpiece of the ephod. And the robe of the ephod was blue, the color of the sky, and it was seamless, only with a reinforced opening for the head of the High Priest and it was never to be torn. Does this make you remember a seamless robe that Roman guards did not tear at the foot of the Cross? The High Priest of the temple had torn his robe before Jesus but the seamless robe of Jesus was not torn. The old order of priests had changed to a new order—a great High Priest in the order of Melchizedek, without beginning and without end, an eternal priesthood had replaced the perishable men of the tribe of Levi. For in the loins of Abraham, Levi had tithed to Melchizedek.

But let us go back to follow the golden bells on the hem of the High Priest’s robe. What were they for? What did their joyous ringing tell the great congregation of My people? The High Priest of the Old Covenant entered the Holy of Holies taking the blood of the bulls and the goats to make atonement for himself and the sons of Israel, the entire nation, Leviticus 16:34, and he sprinkled the blood on the propitiatory seven times. While the bells were heard, the people would know that he was still alive and that his sacrifice had been accepted by Me and their sins were covered for another year. If the bells did not sound, the High Priest had not come out, meaning that he was no longer alive and the sacrifice had not been accepted.

So do you see? The bells announced the good news that the High Priest is alive in the Holy of Holies and his sacrifice for you was accepted. Your sins were atoned for and you were put right with Me. Well, Jesus lives never to die again and He is your great High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek, and Melchizedek means King of righteousness, and Jesus is the LORD of lords and the KING of Kings and in Him I have given you the gift of righteousness. He is the LORD your righteousness.

Whereas the High Priest of the Old Covenant had to keep repeating year after year the same sacrifices which were not able to take away sins but only to cover them, giving them mercy for the prior year, but now Jesus has entered into the Holy of Holies in Heaven and offered His own blood on the mercy seat for an eternal redemption once for all. And His sacrifice was accepted by Me. I tell you that, “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for you, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” Ephesians 5:1.

Ring out as a bell on the robe of your High Priest from the Holy of Holies, for all the world to hear! Ring out the joyful song that your High Priest lives forever making intercession for you to the uttermost and that His sacrifice for all your sins from the beginning to the end of time has been accepted by Me to not only atone for your sins, but to wipe them out as if they had never been. When He went to the grave your sins all went with Him and when I raised Him from the dead they were gone. Your sins and offenses I remember no more. And there are three witnesses that testify: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. 1 John 5:5-12. And the testimony is this, that I have given you eternal life, and this life is in My Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son does not have the life. Jesus is the only way to Me. You must have your High Priest who gave His blood for you, and the life is in the blood, and in His blood was eternal life for the eternal life Adam lost by sin. For the wages of sin is death, but My free gift to you is eternal life in Christ Jesus your Lord. Romans 6:23.

Be My ringing bell with your tongue as the clapper! What is your tongue ringing out to the world? To your co-workers? To your friends? To your family? Good news or an evil report?

I am not mad at you; Jesus took all that away from you like a lightning rod. I sing over you joyfully. I sing songs of deliverance. I sing the Song of Songs to you. If you are worried and upset over not doing what seem like great deeds next to what you hear other members of the Body of Christ are doing, then you are only thinking of yourself and not praising Me for the life you do have. Do not compare yourself to others, the members of the body are different, they do not all have the same function. My Son told you that but many of you miss it. Jesus, the night before He gave His life so you might live forever, said, “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3. Do you see? Many dwelling places. Each of you has your own assignment and your own place. Just as the members of your body do. And they are not all the same, in fact, each is unique and different from the others but very necessary to the whole functioning at the maximum. And Jesus has prepared that place for you. I tell you this very clearly through My servant Paul, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.

And He tells you how to get to that place, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:6. Jesus, your good Shepherd and great High Priest, comes to receive you to Himself that He may walk it out with you until you arrive at your dwelling place as you abide in Him. And He is the living way to Me, right into the Holy of Holies, for by the sacrifice of Himself and His blood upon the mercy seat, He has opened the way for you to come with confidence to receive all you need for your assignment. He released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom of priests to minister with Him, through Him and in Him unto Me. In Him I have qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light.

This is the Way, walk in it and you will come to your place. And it is where He is, right in the bosom of your Father, who loves you so much He gave His Son for you. I made peace through the blood of the Cross and reconciled you to Myself. Can you ring that out for all to know?

I love you. Have you ever sung that Christmas song that goes, “Ring Christmas bells, merrily ring, tell all the world Jesus is King?” Do you ever think that you could be that bell? Make melody to Me in your heart. I love to hear it ringing.
