The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:

No one who comes will I ever reject. But you must come to be part of the elect. You may ask, “come where?” I have answered that already. Let the one who is thirsty come, let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17.

Come and do what? Drink. I provide the living water but you have to come, and when you get to the living water you have to drink. Partake. There is a saying among you that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. This is true, you cannot make him drink unless he desires to do so. Jesus told the Samaritan who came to draw water at the well that if she knew the gift of God, she would ask Jesus for a drink and He would give you living water that would become like a spring within her leaping up to eternal life so that she would never thirst again. And her life had left her so empty that she was ready to drink.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6. In Jesus I have made you righteous with My own righteousness and established in righteousness you are far from oppression. You can only be oppressed when you are empty. If you are full, nothing can make you stay under, you will just keep bouncing up to the top. Full of joy, full of peace, full of strength, full of righteousness, full of love, and filled up with all My fullness. That is simply being filled with faith and the Holy Spirit. So don’t get drunk on wine, which leads to dissipation of your life, but be filled with the Holy Spirit which leads to the fullness of a fruitful life.

Jesus, My Word made flesh dwelling among and in you, told you, “Come to Me.” Matthew 11:28-30. Remember, no one who comes to Him will He ever reject. But whom did He invite? “All who are weary and heavy laden.” All those that are empty. And the result? “And I will give you rest.” In Jesus, who is the fulfillment and substance of Shabbat, you enter My rest. Be diligent to enter My rest. And what is rest? It is Eden, My garden of abundance, the Blessing operating in your life to fill your waste places with beauty and abundance. That is where I took Adam on the day after I made him, I took him with Me into the seventh day, the day of rest. All had been created and it was time to enjoy all that I had made for you with such delight. And I planted a garden for him to live in.

Jesus is your great good Shepherd. And where does He lead you? To the place of perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. He leads you to stretch out resting in green pastures and beside restful waters of healing. Psalm 23. Waters for you to drink from My river of delights that flows from My throne of grace. Psalm 36. The abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness. Romans 5:17.

And your part? To drink and eat. My prophet Isaiah declared My Word, “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that your soul may live” Isaiah 55:1-3. Without money, without cost. What does money represent? Your labor. But it is not by your works that you become righteous and filled with My Spirit. It is by My Work for you in Jesus. It is about the gift of righteousness in Him. Once you drink and eat you become righteous and then you are empowered to do the works of righteousness. My part is to provide all this for you in the finished work of Jesus, your part is to receive it, take it, and drink and eat, and then as it becomes part of you and you begin to overflow, rivers of living water will flow out of your innermost being into the world, covering the earth with the knowledge of My Glory as the waters cover the sea. So that you are not just drinking but are immersed in it.

And Jesus went on to say that in the passage I have been discussing. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me.” Matthew 11:29. Does this remind you of Proverbs 4:20? “My child be attentive to My Words.” Keep them in your sight, guard them in your heart, do not go to the right or the left, keep your feet on the Way, do not turn aside to other paths. Jesus guides you in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake. Jesus, My Word, is a light to your path. He is the Light of the world and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the light of life. The light of My Word.

For your Teacher is gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for you souls. Remember in Psalm 23? The good Shepherd restores your soul, that is, your mind, your will and your emotions, from oppression and depression to fullness of joy. For My yoke is easy and My burden light. Matthew 11:30.

The things that you carry are burdensome, a  load for the weary. Stooped over, you cannot rescue the burden, but have gone into captivity. Listen to Me, you who have been borne by Me from birth and have been carried from the womb; even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; and I will bear you and I will deliver you. Isaiah 46:1-4. Like a shepherd I will tend My flock, in My outstretched arm (Jesus is the arm that I reach down to you) I will gather the lambs and carry them in My bosom. Isaiah 40:11. Jesus comes forth from My very bosom and He takes you back in with Him, to that place of peace, the Holy of Holies, deep within Me and now within you. The place of perfect love.

And how do you drink once you come to the living water? Drinking fills you with the Holy Spirit. And how do I tell you to get filled? “Do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father.” Ephesians 5:18-20. This should not surprise you, have you never read Psalm 100? “Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness. Come before Him with joyful singing.” Psalm 100:1. How do you come into My presence? With joyful singing. And Psalm 100 continues with direction for coming to drink of My Spirit, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.” Psalm 100:4. Thanksgiving and praise is the way you drink of My Spirit. Offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving and get filled. It is good to give thanks and sing praises. Psalm 92:1.

I told Ananias to go to baptize Paul (then Saul) and get him filled with the Holy Spirit, Acts 9:17, because he was a chosen vessel of Mine. Acts 9:15. Sound familiar? Paul later wrote to his disciple Timothy as follows: “Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21. How do you become a chosen vessel useful and ready for every good work? Drink until you are so full of the Holy Spirit that there is nothing else within you. Purged and cleansed by the Word you are ready for every good work. For I saved you, not on the basis of deeds which you have done in righteousness, but according to My mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom I poured out upon you richly through Jesus Christ your Savior, so that being justified by My grace you would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-6.

I love you. Come. The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Are you thirsty? Then come and drink.
