By awesome deeds You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, You who are the trust of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest sea; who establishes the mountains by His strength, being girded with might; who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. Psalm 65:5-7.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Persevere. That means you are consistently confident in My promises from start to finish. And I mean confidence that shows in a joyful radiant face and a mindset to be unyielding to the enemy. Overcomers.
There may be tumult all around you but do not let it enter you.
Be a person of peace. Try to be at peace with all men. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Gideon named Me correctly. After I spoke with Him and told him I would be with him so that he could bring down his enemies that had robbed Israel of peace, he was so amazed that he had spoken with Me and not died, in fact, I did not even mention that he was worshipping a false idol to whom he had built an altar in his yard at that time, that he built an altar there to Me and gave Me a name no one had used for Me before, “The LORD is peace.” “Yahweh Shalom (יהוה שלום).” Judges 6:24
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27. The world does not see how you can be at peace in a storm, but My Son, living as a man among you, showed you that you can. He was sleeping peacefully in the midst of a storm and when the terrified disciples woke Him, be merely rebuked the storm. He had My peace and He did not let His heart be troubled or afraid. He remembered Psalm 107:29 and spoke My Words and My Words went to work. It is I who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of the waves, and the tumult of the peoples. Psalm 65:7.
My Son told His followers: “Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’ If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.” Luke 10:5-6. Give peace and if no one receives it, it returns to you. You are not upset and pulled into their tumult, your peace returns to you. When Noah sent the dove out of the ark when the dove found nowhere to land, Noah drew the dove back in to himself. Genesis 8:9. Keep your peace and do not let the lack of peace in another pull you out of peace. Let your peace return to you. Build an altar to Me, YHWH Shalom, in your heart. And do not fear intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. 1 Peter 3:14-16. Make you heart a sanctuary of peace. Don’t let your anger remain past the sunset, it will pull you out of peace and defile you.
Cease striving and know that I am God. I am here to fight your battles, like I did for Jehoshaphat, 2 Chronicles 20, and to give you peace on every side.
You have access within to the Kingdom by My Spirit. You can come with confidence right to My throne of grace in the Holy of Holies with Jesus, your great High Priest, who is Prince of Peace. And in the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle Moses erected in the wilderness and in magnificent house Solomon built for Me, there was absolute stillness in the Holy of Holies. No noise was permitted in there, now even the sound of a hammer should a repair need to be done. These were done outside the Holy of Holies and then placed therein. It was a sacred place where all attention was on Me to hear My voice and My attention was on you to give you the plans for battle and government.
But how do you get so that you are constantly in the sanctuary of peace, the very Holy of Holies, and not in the distractions, noise, and bustle of the outer court? How do you become a man or woman of peace in the midst of controversy, division, war, famine, and plague?
The answer is simple but very deep and very few people really apply it, but those who do are the ones that have miracles, mighty works, amazing results and perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. They are the ones that see My promises come to pass in spite of the storm.
You still the tumult of the enemy by praise and thanksgiving. By making melody to Me in your heart. By the voice of thanksgiving.
Once you have given a problem to Me and found My Word in Scripture that solves it, the rest of your time until you see it manifest in the earth is praise for the result before you see it. And praise and thanksgiving show confidence and peace. You don’t sing praise when you are in anxious turmoil over your problems. You stay in the Holy of Holies close by Me where all is peace by praise. You enter My gates with thanksgiving and My courts with hymns of praise.
I told you this in Psalm 8 and My Son repeated it. “From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength (praise) because of Your adversaries, to make the enemy and the revengeful cease and desist.” Psalm 8:2. Praise and peace go together.
Staying connected with Me at all times is peace. When you let yourself be dragged down into the tumult, your peace is gone. The perfect connection is severed. You feel defiled—shamed and filthy. Somehow their dirt got in your heart too. But I gave you My peace, however, it is up to you to guard it in your heart by not letting in the tumult.
Anger and worry are unrest and they defile a man. What comes from in your heart is what defiles, not any outward activity. So if you have no peace, look in your heart and see who and what has a part therein. Turn away from evil, it will only give you unrest and rob you of the peace I have given you.
I want our connection to be open and free of the things that divide us. I want your heart to be home with Me. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. If you are harboring bitter and judgmental thoughts, they will keep you from feeling comfortable with Me, for the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:14-18.
Praise, melody in your heart, thanksgiving—these are the answer to connecting and expecting treasures out of darkness and walking in high places free from the tumult of the peoples. The formula remains the same: rejoice always, pray without ceasing (keep up the connection unhindered), and give constant thanks, this is My will for you in Christ Jesus your Lord for perfect peace and protection in any storm.
Do you see the wisdom in what My Holy Spirit revealed to My apostle Paul? “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think and set you mind (dwell) on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:4-9.
I love you. Persevere in prayer and praise with thanksgiving and you will always be secure in Me, free from the tumult of the world, the flesh, and the devil. You are in the world but you do not have to be of the world. You can connect with another Kingdom if you want to do so. Stay in the Holy of Holies where all is peace by praise. The tumult of the peoples is all around, it bombards you from every side, but My Name is a strong tower that the righteous run to and are lifted high, as in a mighty fortress of peace. In My Hand the evil one cannot touch you.
