When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Are you in debt?
I have good news for you. Your biggest debt has already been paid in full. Colossians 2:13-14. I gave My Son to pay it for you. Do you not think I will give you all things besides?
You owed Me a tremendous debt. It was the debt to divine justice for all your sins. When you sin you hand your life and possessions over to the devil, for you serve the one to whom you submit. But it is I who made you and gave you all you have. You owe Me your life. So you were all in debt to Me for the eternal life I had given you that Adam squandered away.
But eternal life is priceless. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? What can you give to redeem an eternal life? A life for a life is the price. But no one of Adam’s descendants any longer had an eternal life to give. He sold you all into the slavery of sin and death.
But I provided a way out of your debt. A Way that not only paid your debt in full but then filled your account with all sufficiency and an abundance for every good work. I gave you the fullness of redemption in My Son. And from His fullness you have all received, grace upon grace.
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. My Son came as your kinsman redeemer and Lamb of sacrifice. I placed all your sin-debt on Him and He took all of the divine justice and wrath upon Himself, in His own sinless flesh. He had an eternal life with which He could pay for your lost one for He was not of Adam’s seed but was born of the imperishable seed of My Word in the virgin Mary.

Jesus canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against you (the Law), which was hostile to you; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. And when He finished the work of salvation I gave Him to do—He came to serve and not to be served, to give His life as a ransom for the many—and He disarmed all the forces of the evil one—the rulers and authorities of this world due to Adam’s grant—He sat down at My right hand as your High Priest as I put all His enemies under His feet. I made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.
What am I telling you this for in the context of whether you owe any debts right now? Because I am telling you that it does not have to be that way. I want you who are My people to be the lenders, not the borrowers, above and not beneath, the head and not the tail.
Think about this: I was willing to pay a huge debt for you, a debt that was impossible for you to pay that you owed to My Divine justice. If you have had the debt of your lost eternal life paid in full and have received an eternal life, the gift of righteousness and an abundance of grace, cannot I take care of all you need each day? I gave you My Son, My most precious treasure, will I not give you all things besides?
The answer is a resounding “YES!” For all of My promises find their “yes” in Jesus Christ. In Him you will find all you need—healing, provision, prosperity, righteousness, purity, strength, guidance, rest, victory, triumph, wisdom, joy, and peace. Attach to Him like a branch to the vine and draw all you need from Him. If you do, you will be fruitful. The fruit of the Spirit will be produced by your spirit as you drink in the milk and water of the Word and as you chew on its meat.
Jesus became poor so that by His poverty you could become rich. He emptied Himself of all He had and took on human estate. But He went even further, He took the form of a slave and gave all He had, including His life, to buy you out of your debt. And I mean this spiritually and materially.
Remember? Seek first My Kingdom and My way of righteousness (by faith in Jesus, not by works) and everything else you need will be added. And I specify these needs as food, clothing and shelter. Those are physical needs.
And I tell you that I will give you all you need for yourself and an abundance for every good work. That is not lack. My Son came so you could have life and have it ABUNDANTLY. John 10:10. That is not being in debt and barely getting by from pay check to pay check.
He emptied Himself so that you could be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:19. Have you ever meditated on that?
Debt is emptiness and lack. It puts you in bondage and fear about your future. But fullness is in Christ Jesus. And I supply all your needs according to My riches in glory in Him. Philippians 4:19.
What are you worrying about? I told you not to. But you may wonder how you keep from worrying when you are facing debt and see no way out—like the Israelites at the Red Sea or the widow of the prophet who went to consult Elisha for help when her husband died and her two children were about to be taken as slaves by his creditors. Both the Israelites and the widow knew where to turn in their need—Me by My Word through My prophets.
Let Me show you the Way out of debt. First, refuse to be anxious about it but cast it on Me, as you should do in everything, by prayer and petition make your requests known to Me, with thanksgiving. So these are not anxious, upset, whiny, fearing prayers. They are prayers of confidence in My love, My care and My ability and willingness to meet your needs. Pray so that I can hear you. If you pray according to My Will I hear you. 1 John 5:14-15. I only understand the language of faith, hope and love. Some people think they will be heard by multiplying their words, but I tell you they just think they will be heard and My Son warned you not to imitate them.
Next, refuse to speak against My Word. Remember Job? What he feared came upon him, and his worry and anxiety brought him trouble. Job 3:25-26. He was not at rest, he was not at ease. This comes from relying only on your own works and righteousness to satisfy your needs.
Learn to talk My language of faith. I speak those things that I want to happen as if they exist and they come into being. The same happens when you speak. Life and death are in the power of your tongue. You eat your words. They acquit you or condemn you. It is your choice.
Look up those Scriptures that deal with prosperity and the cancelation of debt. Meditate on them. Speak them over your life, your job, your business, your family.
I tell you that if you are weak, say you are strong. Well apply the same principle here, if you are poor, say you are rich. You may say “But how can I say that when it is not true?” But My Word is truth and I tell you that through Christ Jesus you have the Blessing of Abraham on you. And My Blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow (toil) with it. So if it is not manifesting in your life, take a good look at what you are saying. Never say you are broke, that you are going under, that you do not know how you can ever get out of debt. Stand up tall and look your debts in the eye and call them paid in full. And then begin to budget and act wisely as I show you what to do. Be led by My Spirit. Tell your mountains to move!
Do not throw away your confidence it will bring you great reward. Dare to believe that I supply for all your needs according to My riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Dare to believe I have given you the Kingdom. Dare to believe that I am opening the Heavens to you to pour down a blessing you cannot contain and begin to sing praise and rejoice. It is much better for your health than worrying. A cheerful heart is a good medicine but a depressed spirit dries up the bones.
And then look at Scriptures about prosperity in context and see that the blessings of prosperity are conditioned on that you tithe your income and give to the poor. You must sow a seed to reap a harvest. Give Me something to work with, something to multiply, something given that I can return to you a hundredfold.
When a young boy gave My Son his five fish and two loaves to feed others, My Son multiplied it to feed over five thousand with twelve basketfuls left over. The boy got back way more than he gave and everyone else benefitted too.
When the widow whose husband left her in debt was about to lose her two children to the creditors, she took the little oil she had and it filled so many containers at My Word that it provided her the income she needed to give a good life to herself and her children.
And the widow who gave Elijah all she had left to eat for herself and her son because he was a prophet of Mine, ate for an entire year on that small jug of oil and jar of flour. I can multiply what you have when you follow My Word to you.
Where sin abounds (the curse), grace super abounds. Grace upon grace.
My arm is not too short to save. I am Almighty God and I supply all your needs. Those who seek Me want for no good thing. It is My joy to supply for you. Remember the story of the prodigal son? All he had to do was return to the father and it was the father’s joy to supply everything. The son had only to receive.
Think of that as you try to slip into anxiety and fear. Do not fear, little flock, I am pleased to give you the Kingdom. Look to Me, I have ways to send you what you need. Jesus looked at Me for the temple tax and I told Him about a fish who had swallowed a coin worth twice the tax and Jesus told Peter what to do and Peter did it. And in following My Word, he caught a fish with that coin in its mouth. The children of Israel cried out to Me as the journeyed where I showed them and I sent them manna from Heaven. I have not changed. Will I not do much more for you now that you are righteous in My Son?
I love you. Cling to Me and speak My language of faith, hope and love. And how does a child learn to speak the parent’s language? He imitates what they say. Do the same, imitate Me as My dear children and only speak as I do. And I only speak love.
