Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. James 4:8.
He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall. Psalm 91:4.
How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. Matthew 23:37.
His left hand is under my head, and His right hand embraces me. Song of Songs 2:6.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Entrust your life to a faithful Creator. Do not be struggling with Me so hard all the time. You may not think you are, but if you are worried and anxious about your life, your merits, your works, and your relationships—even in the sense that you are trying so hard to act in a way pleasing to Me, you are struggling against Me. This may surprise you, but I am actually trying to help you in this so you can have peace about yourself and your life.
Let Me take care of you and all that concerns you. I did not send Jesus to judge you but to save you. No matter what mess you got yourself into or made of your life (physical and/or emotional), I can get you out of it into a good place—a place of rest in Me. A place of peace. A place called grace where we are comfortable with each other, where you know Me and that I am for you, not against you.
If you are worried because you see pride, offense, anger or evil in you and see Me as displeased with you, and yes, these things do displease Me, but you will have trials with them in this world, but take courage Jesus overcame the world as one like you and in Him you can too. I sent Him to make you an overcomer too. You can live your life through Him.
But really it is very simple. Each time you see a fault in yourself or are attacked with evil thoughts from the enemy, do not beat yourself and think you have failed and are out of My favor. No! Come to Me with confidence to receive mercy and find grace and favor just when you need it. Hebrews 4:16. My grace is sufficient to change you, it empowers you to live godly with the same power that I used to raise Jesus from the dead, and that is power beyond power as you know it in worldly inventions. In other words, bring the fault, the troubled relationship, another’s anger against you or your anger against them to Me and let Me take care of it. Trust Me to give you the grace to become the perfect person I made you to be. Remember Paul’s struggle with this and his answer? “I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. For I joyfully agree with the law of God in the inner person, but I see a different law in the parts of my body waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin, the law which is in my body’s parts. Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Romans 7:21-25.
You do not get upset when you know you have the perfect solution to a problem you face. And you do have a perfect solution for whatever your problem, trial, fault, failing, affliction is. You have Jesus and in Him are ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, in Him are grace and truth and in Him everything is summed up for all time and eternity. He is your “yes” to every one of My magnificent promises. My all comes to you through Him to be yours.
In Him, you (and I) have found your ransom. Job 33:24-25; 1 Timothy 2:6. You can get all you need in Him. Do you need humility? Ask Me and I will give it to you generously. I am meek and humble of heart. I exalt and serve you. Don’t just keep trying to persuade yourself of others’ merits and get yourself out of pride. Pride is sneaky, like the devil himself.
Do you need grace to forgive? Let Me show you how I forgive by the Blood of My Son and teach you to use the same standard I use and pour My love in your heart.
Do you need courage? I have plenty to share and so does My Son, the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Do you need strength? I am overflowing with it and in My Name you will find a strong tower of refuge. Do you need and answer? I have it before you even know you need it. The Holy Spirit will give you wisdom that no one can take exception to or contradict. Do you need love? That is who I am and I give Myself to you.
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, from My Kingdom, coming down from Me to you and you can take and receive it with joy. I give the Spirit without measure. Ask and you will receive. I give good things to those who ask Me.
You can entrust your life to Me, your faithful Creator, and know that I will only act in your best interests. Like you see in Jesus, He emptied Himself and took the form of your servant—giving His life for you, giving Himself for your interests and calling it His joy and delight.
You may have gotten in a dark valley, but I have given you a good Shepherd to lead you out to a table of plenty. You can dwell in My house all your days with goodness and lovingkindness pursuing you.
Isn’t it time you stopped wandering around in the wilderness of your faults and failings and came home to the BLESSING?
For a righteous person falls seven times and rises again, when he falls, he will not be hurled down, because I am the One who holds his hand. Proverbs 24:16, Psalm 37:24. That is why the psalmist sang, “Seven times a day I praise You because of Your righteous judgments.” Psalm 119:164. For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.” Isaiah 41:13. For, I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You. Isaiah 42:6. Put your hand in Mine and all will be fine. I stretch out My hands to you all the day, just take hold.
I can take care of all your faults if you will let Me. Just rest in Me and stop fretting about everything. I am the place of answers. Anathoth. I once told Jeremiah: “Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle is coming to you, saying, ‘Buy for yourself my field which is at Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.’” Jeremiah 32:6-7. Do you know what Hanamel (חֲנַנְאֵל) means in Hebrew? The grace of God. Do you know what Shallum (שַׁלּוּם) means in Hebrew? Yes, it looks like shalom which means “peace” in the sense of wholeness in every area of your life, but with a bit different vowel sound it is from the word based on that root of shalom that means “amends,” in the sense of making complete and restoring what was lost. Do you know what Anathoth (עֲנָתוֹת) means in Hebrew? Answer. The place of answers. So you can have, by right of redemption, for Jesus is your kinsman redeemer, by My grace and restoration of all lost to make you complete, the place of answers as your own in fee simple. I have rescued out of the realm of darkness into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, the realm of Light—qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light.
Now I want to share with you the truth I have been working up to tell! It is simply your life is not a struggle, it is a snuggle.
STOP STRUGGLING AND START SNUGGLING.
If you draw close to Me, I draw close to you. James 4:8. And when I am with you, there is nothing can take you down—not sin, not pride, not sickness or disease, not foes or friends, nothing. I am present as your Helper. I am a very present help in time of trouble, even when YOU are troubling yourself.
How I long to gather you as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would not. Stop struggling and start snuggling. I put My left hand under your head and embrace you with My right hand. Song of Songs 2:6; 8:3. And in My left hand there are riches and honor and in My right hand is long life. Proverbs 3:16.
DON’T WRESTLE WITH ME IN PRAYER, NESTLE WITH ME IN PRAYER.
Let Me feed you as the mother bird does her chicks. Open wide your mouth and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10; Exodus 19:4. And let Me take you up on My wings and teach you to fly. Deuteronomy 32:11; Isaiah 40:31.
And the whole Bible is all about snuggling up with Me. It’s about lambs being carried in My bosom, little children held in My embrace, nestlings hovered over and covered by My wings, My Spirit in you and Christ in you, your hope of glory, and Christ in Me, and I in Him, and Him in you, Me in you, and you in Me, and joining with Christ you become one Spirit with us too, and being held within His hand you are in My hand where there is no snatching away, and My left hand under your head and My right hand embracing you as My hands stretch out to you all the day as I call you by name for you are Mine. And I have seated you with in in heavenly places in Christ and He is sitting with Me on My throne and you are sitting with Him so you are seated with Him and Me on My throne and that is indeed a snuggle! Revelation 3:21. And the unceasing call to you from My heart to come into My everlasting arms, and it’s about Me making My dwelling place among you and making you My tabernacle too. It is all about My snuggling up with you and your snuggling up with Me so that we are one for all eternity. I draw you with human cords with bands of love and raise you to Me as one raises an infant to his cheeks. And you are the Body of Christ and the bride of Christ and your Maker has become your Husband in an everlasting covenant of love. Yes, it is all about you snuggling up with Me and My snuggling up with you. Life was not meant to be a struggle but a snuggle.
And if you are snuggling you are rejoicing always, praying without ceasing, and giving constant thanks. How else can you snuggle?
I love you. Come to Me all of you who find life burdensome and I will refresh you. Life is not a struggle if you will just snuggle close to Me. Let Me be your helper and comfort.
For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. Psalm 63:7.
