How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you. Psalm 128:1-2.
But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. John 3:21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
My Son told you, “None is good but God alone.” And He is the way, the truth, and the life. So when He speaks, listen to Him.
There is no lasting joy, there is no lasting peace, there is no lasting love, and there is no lasting work apart from Me. There is nothing good except in Me. And there is no life without Me. There is nothing without Me. All things were created by Me and are sustained by Me. Nothing works without Me but everything works with Me. All will be shaken and fall except that which is built by Me. The desires and works of the wicked come to nothing and cut their lives short. Unless I build the house, they labor in vain who build it, and unless I guard the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. Psalm 127:1. And no matter how late or how many hours you work, if it is without Me, it is nothing but vanity and painful toil. Psalm 127:2.
When your work is done in Me, you enjoy the work of your hands. If you work against Me, contrary to My commands and laws, you will eventually perish and be no more, but My loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear (honor) Me. Psalm 103:17.
“Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD (YHWH) and against His Messiah (anointed), saying, ‘Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!’ He who is enthroned in the heavens laughs, the Lord (Adonai) scoffs at them.” Psalm 2:1-4. I have established My throne in the heavens and My sovereignty rules over all. Psalm 103:19. On the earth, you have dominion but I still ultimately control and have the last Word. You have the leasehold but I own the fee. You cannot go above Me. I am your Maker, not you yourselves. Your life is in My hand, your very breath, if I take away your breath, you perish and return to the earth. But just as a father has compassion on his children, so I have compassion on those who fear Me (honor, respect, love, and seek to please Me by keeping My Word). “For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust. As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, and its place acknowledges it no longer. But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep His covenant and remember His precepts to do them.” Psalm 103:13-18.
It is written, “How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you.” Psalm 128:1-2. First notice this is for EVERYONE but to have the good harvest you must be one who is planting the right seeds. You must be walking in the truth. I sanctify you in truth, My Word is truth. John 17:17. And My Word gives light. The Light of the world. So when you walk in the truth you walk in the Light and your works are done in the Light. For everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. John 3:20-21. If you are hiding things you do at work you are walking in the dark and good harvests do not grow in the dark. They must be in the Light to produce good fruit.
When you work with Me in the Light your life becomes fruitful and full of sweetness and comes back to bless you in the work of your hands.
Learn how to do your work in and with Me. Learn from Me how to walk constantly in the Light, then your life will be fruitful and happy, you can rest in your work. It will support you and overflow in generosity to others. He who steals must steal no longer (and lazy work at your job or lying about hours worked, or, worse yet, embezzling or taking supplies is all stealing), but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need. Ephesians 4:28. Besides working in the light, be a light at your work to others. Everyone noticed Daniel’s spirit of excellence in his work and it promoted him, even in the midst of unbelievers in a pagan nation.
My beloved John advised you by the Spirit: “This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:5-7. “What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.” 1 John 1:3. The secret is fellowship with Me, partnership with My Son, throughout your busy day.
Work openly as in the light. Walk with Me in integrity and honor, but above all in love. Not cutting corners, but going the extra mile, not goofing off, but being a person of steady excellence as unto Me and not unto men. Not flirting with other people’s spouses or joining in obscene or suggestive language, “immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.” Ephesians 4:3-5. Do nothing dishonest for self-interest, but seek to benefit your employer, your co-workers, your clients, your customers, your students, or those you supervise. Be calm, everything has its time. Be a witness to Me. Always be ready to pray, to encourage, to exhort, to comfort, and to share the good news. People are thirsty.
“Walk as children of Light (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.” Ephesians 5:8-13. Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
Remember that even though Joseph was a slave in Potiphar’s house and did all he did to benefit his master; I tell you that Joseph became a prosperous man. His master was grateful and blessed Joseph for the blessing he brought to him.
If you just keep hanging onto Me, even in difficult times in your work or home, and keep going forward faithful to My Words, things will begin to turn, though they may get worse before better, like happened to Joseph when his prosperity at his master’s house ended when through the lies of Potiphar’s wife he ended up in prison, but he just kept working in the light, and soon was noticed by the chief jailer and had assignments of favor. He prospered even there. Just keep being faithful and true and you will begin to see good results and those you worked for that were so difficult will rise up to praise you. Your works turn from the dreaded outcomes you feared to the good endings that you hoped for. Suddenly your work comes back to bless you. All that seemed uselessly spent in vain suddenly comes forth to harvest. Your reward is from Me. Do not throw away your confidence, it has great reward. Your work changes from painful toil to the BLESSING of the LORD that makes rich but adds no sorrow with it.
Those who seemed so mean and impossible to change suddenly begin to have hearts that turn towards Me because of what you have been inputting into their lives. Harvest has come back from your seed sown and cultivated to bless you.
And even if you made mistakes, were in darkness, and messed things up, once you turn from the darkness to the light and begin walking and working with Me, I can change all that and all you did wrong will be made right and come back to bless you instead of cursing you.
“For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Hebrews 6:10-12.
When all you do is done in Me, your work comes back to bless you. “How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you.” Psalm 128:1-2. If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, then you will bear much fruit, fruit that endures, and thus prove to be My disciples. “Let Your work appear to Your servants and Your majesty to their children. Let the favor of the LORD our God be upon us; and give permanence for us the work of our hands; yes, give permanence to the work of our hands.” Psalm 90:16-17. Fruit that endures to the coming generations.
Solomon wrote “There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. For who can eat and who can have enjoyment without Him? For to a person who is good in His sight He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is vanity and striving after wind.” Ecclesiastes 2:24-26. And, “I have seen that nothing is better than that man should be happy in his activities, for that is his lot. For who will bring him to see what will occur after him?” Ecclesiastes 3:22. And finally, “The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14. All will eventually be brought into the light, so why not start there and finish with the blessing?
“Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.” Hebrews 10:35-36.
And I would like to share one more thought with you. You are all the work of My hands. You are My handiwork created in Christ Jesus for good works that I prepared for you in advance that you might walk in them. Ephesians 2:10. And the fruit of your life comes back to bless Me. I love to prosper the work of My hands. My delight is in the prosperity of My servants. I am glorified when the work of My hands (you) bears much fruit. I bless you with a fruitful life and you rejoice in the works of your hands, and you bless Me with your fruitful life and I rejoice in the works of My hands. And I share My joy with you so that your joy may be complete. You give glory to Me and I give glory to you. “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” John 15:8
I love you. Just keep putting in goodness and finally the goodness will win. You overcome evil with good. Why? “No one is good but God alone.” And when you work with Me, you win. There is no one and nothing that can overcome Me. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
Her children rise up and bless her; her husband also, and he praises her, saying: “Many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all.” Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her the product of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates. Proverbs 31:30-31.
