We know that no one who is begotten of God sins; but He who is begotten of God, God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 5:18-19.
No one who is begotten of God practices sin because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God. 1 John 3:9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
My Word is for YOU. I have put My Words in YOUR mouth to establish and replenish things in the earth.
Make your life a symphony of beauty and of praise. Open up your heart to Me and enjoy all of your days. Make the things of Heaven come to pass upon the earth and bring all the lost and hurting to the glory of new birth.
Walk My ways under My gaze. My eyes are upon you to instruct you and to direct you in the way you should go. Look at Me. Hold My hand and take a stand on My Word and do not be shaken for you are not forsaken. You are loved beyond love by the One who is unending Love.
The flower blooms and fades and dies, but though your earthly frame is sown a glorious body is raised as your soul’s new home.
Remain in Me. Never leave. How do you do that? How do you keep safe in Me where the curse cannot alight? How do you remain in Me where you are always walking in My light so that no harm can come near your tent? The place of the amazing promise: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7.
There really is only one way: by never sinning. Jesus said I was always with Him and never left Him because He always did what was pleasing to Me and the evil one had no part in Him.
And how does a person keep from sinning? I give you the answer in many places in My Word, but essentially here is the answer: “Your Word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You.” Psalm 119:11.
You must fill yourself with My Word until the Word becomes the guiding star and pilot of your life. While the ship’s captain handles the job of navigating the ship in the water by the stars, when the situation gets risky or there is any situation which demands greater skill in the maneuvering of the ship, the ship pilot acts as the person who advises the captain what route to take and what changes need to be made during ship’s routine maneuvering while entering or leaving a port. My Holy Spirit will pull the helm of your ship with you, and He does this by bringing to your remembrance all that I have said. He guides you to all truth. “And He brought them out of their distresses. He caused the storm to be still, so that the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad because they were quiet, so He guided them to their desired haven, to the safe harbor. Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men!” Psalm 107:38-31.
The more Word you put in your heart, “Keep my commandments and live, and my teaching as the pupil of your eye. Bind them on your fingers. Write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your intimate friend.” Proverbs 7:1-4.
Do you know why I tell you to keep My Words as the pupil of your eye? The function of the pupil is to allow light to enter the eye so it can be focused on the retina to begin the process of sight. The pupil controls the amount of light you let into your eye. Do you remember that My apostle Paul prayed by the Spirit that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened by knowledge of My Word? Let the light of My Word, who is the Light of the world, into your heart in ever greater measure and do not let the devil blind your eyes to the Word. “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.
Did you notice that in the first parable My Son told where He represented the Word as seed and your heart as the soil where it plants and that the devil is only after one thing? Why? Because he knows if he gets that he can destroy your harvest. He comes to steal My Word out of your heart before it plants or, even if it plants, he then goes all out to pull it up, choke it off or dry it up by raising trials, storms, worries, fears, tantalizing lusts, and things that seem to gratify the flesh and the emotions, but all these things end in destruction and death. Satan knows if you keep the Word in your heart and won’t let go that he can never take you captive to do his will. He can never make sin your master. Just as he did with Adam and Eve. He took away My Word from them and substituted his. And his word is always a lie. He is a liar and the father of lies and a murderer.
When you stay in My hand, the evil one cannot touch you. How do you stay in My hand? I told you, “ I have put My Words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of My hand.” You abide in Me and I in you by remaining in My Words and My Words remaining in you. Start now to limit your own words, especially about your feelings and your anger about others, because “When words are many, sin is unavoidable, but he who restrains his lips is wise.” Proverbs 10:19.
I send My Word to heal you and to deliver you from your destructions (pits). Psalm 107:20. Do you see? The more Word in you, the more you will not sin, for sin is your destruction. The wages of sin is death. Sinners cut their lives short. My Word is the antidote for sin. MY WORD IS THE VACCINE AGAINST SIN. Vaccines train your immune systems to create proteins that fight disease, known as ‘antibodies,’ so that if the disease hits you, they will go to battle and evict it from the body. I train your hands for battle, your fingers for war by My Word. What do you think My full armor is about? The protection of My Word in you. The girdle of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the footgear of the Gospel of peace, and the Sword of the Spirit that is My Word. It is the armor of light!
And My Word is like medicine (marpe in Hebrew) to all your flesh and life to you who are filled with it. Resurrection life is in My Word.
“We know,” wrote My beloved John, “that no one who is begotten of God sins; but He who is begotten of God, God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.” 1 John 5:18-19. If you have received Jesus as your Lord, you have been begotten by Me from above, John 1:12-13, and I keep you (i.e., guard and protect you), and the evil one cannot touch you. How? I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions. My Word forms a hedge around you. A bulwark and a shield. You must say nothing else in a trial or storm, or at any time for that matter, in season and out of season speak the Word only. Job had the hedge around his life and the evil one could not get through, but Job then broke down a place in that edge by fearing and letting go of his peace and that was all Satan needed to enter Job’s territory and start destroying. And it only got worse because Job then blamed Me and declared himself more righteous than I! So his pride got in the way and bitterness as well.
Your duty is to stay at your guard post over your heart and fill it with My Word and nothing else. If you stay in My Word (which is Me, for I am My Word) then My Word can go to work in you to bring the promise it contains into your life and the amount of the harvest is controlled by how much seed you plant. People perish for lack of knowledge, which is lack of My Word in them.
But now I want to tell you the most important part of never sinning. For you are under grace, My live in you, so sin is not your master. But there are many believers that have let hate creep into their hearts. You may not think so, but it shows in your conduct and in your thoughts. If you hate another, if you hate a politician and, even worse, that hate spills on all who seem to support him or his party, if you hate a family member, if you hate your boss, your co-worker, your teacher, a business partner, your parents, your siblings, your spouse, or your children because of what they did to you, you may not call it hate, you may say it is your zeal for righteousness and principle, but it is hate, and let Me share a truth with you now that you must know if you want to remain in Me, for I am love: HATE CAN ONLY UNITE YOU WITH EVIL.
I hate sin but not the sinner. I hate divorce but not spouses who have divorced. I hate what sin and evil do to your life, but I love you and that is why I sent you Jesus and poured My love into your heart by the gift of the Holy Spirit. Speak the truth in love and stop all that hateful, offensive chatter and gossip. When you have a problem with someone or something, go to that person and speak My Word of correction in love but never be a “tattle tale” and try to get them hurt, fired, or abused. Your anger does not promote My justice, “for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls. But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” James 1:20-22.
Make sure that your hate never unites you to the side of evil. Be careful about this. Your hate for one may make you become one with those who are defying My laws to My face by their lustful perverted lifestyles. Do not join the devil’s camp because of your hate. Hate of others puts you on the side of evil. It puts you into the realm of darkness.
Your business is to keep My Word and follow Me. Like I told Peter as he inquired about his fellow apostle John, thinking he was getting better treatment than Peter. I simply told him, “How does that concern you? Your business is to follow Me.” If another is living contrary to My Word, be the prophet who leads them back to Me. Love does not consist in condoning the sinner, but it does not consist in hating him in your heart-.
“You shall not go about as a slanderer among your people, and you are not to act against the life of your neighbor; I am the LORD. You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may surely reprove your neighbor but shall not incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:16-18.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also. 1 John 4:20-21.
Turn from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it. How? “Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.” Psalm 34:10.
It all comes back to My Word. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. John 1:1-5. The Word is your life, your light, and your antidote to sin. Store up My Word in your heart and you will not sin.
I love you. Make this the year where you never sin, the year of triumph. I am with you to help do it. Just fill yourself up with My Word and refuse to let hate enter your heart for others. My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But remember this, if it should happen that you sin, you have an Advocate with Me, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for your sins; and not for yours only, but also for those of the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2. Love will take care of it all.
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is begotten of God practices sin because His seed [the Word] abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. 1 John 3:4-10.
