“Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:20-21.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
In Christ, I have raised you up to sit with Him in Heaven. And He is seated with Me on My throne. Revelation 3:21. I have seated you with Me. And that is where I see you in relationship with Me. “But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-6. I seated you with Me in Christ. He made you holy, blameless, and beyond reproach.
But He did more. He gave you the authority to become My children. And He entrusted His authority to you. I gave you His saving Name. In Him, I entrust My authority to you to make you not just My creatures but My children and co-workers, My covenant partners, in running the family business, that is, the Kingdom. And what is the business? Salvation, blessing, replenishing the earth and subduing it, and planting the heavenly Kingdom in the earth and establishing the earth therein.
How do you do this? By your words, but there are words that build and words that destroy. You must speak life, in other words, your words must agree with Mine. I speak life to the dead. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil. Speak My Words in every situation and give new life. Edify. Repair and restore what the devil has stolen. I foretold this to My prophet Isaiah, “So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations; and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.” Isaiah 61:3-4. It is time for you to replenish the earth as I told the first man to do. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and you are to do the works He did and greater because He has come to Me and is now the High Priest of your confession (homologia: speaking the same words in agreement with Him).
Many of you treat Me like you are the slave and I am the Master, but Jesus told you that was not the case, “You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.” John 15:14-15. You should be working with Me from My throne, not begging for Me to do things for you from below. I have made clear to you how the Kingdom operates, who I am, and I have shared My thoughts with you by My Spirit in you guiding you to all truth, which is My Word. YOU are to reign with ME. I have called you into partnership with My Son and into My own kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12; 1 Corinthians 1:9. You are in My image and likeness; you are to operate in oneness with Me in My Son by My Spirit.
Jesus has loved you and released you from your sins by His blood and made you a kingdom, priests ministering unto Me and with Me. Revelation 1:5-6.
In Jesus, I give you a call to oneness where I flow into you and you flow into Me. The good Shepherd leads you in and leads you out to deep in Me, in My very bosom, where He is, so that where He is you also may be, residing in the fullness. Ephesians 3:20.
I do not hold you far away from Me. I draw you close and entrust Myself to you who are in Covenant with Me through My Son. We can walk and work in oneness spreading the sweet aroma of the sacrificial burnt offering of Christ in every place. Ephesians 5:1-2. Understand who you are and you will walk in a manner worthy of this oneness, for I have called you into My own Kingdom and glory. 1 Thessalonians 2:12.
But this is My Work in Christ for you so that no man can boast in pride that he accomplished this oneness by his own works. You who abide in Him should walk as He did. 1 John 2:6. Consider then, how did Jesus get exalted to My right hand with a Name above every other name and complete authority given to Him in Heaven and on earth? Look at His life and His words and you will see. He humbled Himself, emptied Himself, gave Himself to do My Will and be filled with Me. He never spoke a word on His own initiative but carefully considered what He would say and said only that which I showed Him and did the works as I showed Him. It was complete oneness, so much so that in seeing Him, you see Me. The radiance of My glory shines through Him, and He told you that you too were to let your light shine before men so that it would reflect My glory upon them as it shone in and through you. One. And in that oneness, you reign with Me. But it comes from drawing close to Me in Jesus and I draw close to you through Him, for I was in Christ reconciling you to Myself not counting your sins against you but putting them all upon Him. I drew you to Me with human cords and bands of love, It is in His person that man and God unite in one seamless life. And in that closeness, that oneness of heart and purpose, you submit to Me in total agreement with My Words so that they become yours, and then you resist the devil, who pushes you to speak words contrary to Mine that match his lies and pride, his rebellion and uncleanness, but if you resist by continuing to agree with Me, he will have to flee from you as He does before Me. “Let God arise, His enemies shall be scattered, and those who hate Him shall flee before Him. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish before God. But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God. Yes, let them rejoice with gladness. Sing to God, sing praises to His name. Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, whose name is the LORD, and exult before Him. A father of the fatherless and a judge or the widows, is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.” Psalm 68:1-6.
Now I want you to be aware of the devil’s schemes and why he pushes at you so relentlessly as he did with Jesus. You have to understand what he is after. And he is after what you have. And that was what he was after in Adam and Eve. Let Me share with you the passage that makes him furiously jealous of you because you have what he wants and what he is after. This makes him intensely jealous of you, and if he cannot have it, he does not want you to have it either. Jesus said this to those who had opened the door of their hearts to Him in fellowship in the book of His Revelation, “He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3:21. Do you see? I seat you on the throne with Jesus and He is one with Me so seated there in Jesus you are also seated on My throne with Me in complete oneness. I made you for this oneness in My image and likeness with all the works of My hands to be in your dominion in union with My power and authority over and in you.
At first, the devil tried to take this by the force of his own words which were not Mine. He tried to get results as I do by decreeing a thing but he spoke lies and lies do not create, they devastate. Lies do not build, they destroy. Lies do not bring what they decree to life, they bring death. And that is why when the devil comes all that happens is theft, death, and destruction. Let Me take you to what I revealed to My prophet Isaiah, “How you have fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (shining one) son of the dawn (remember I call the angels morning stars, Job 38:7)! You have been cut down to the earth, you who have weakened the nations!” There I was speaking to Satan, but now let Me show you what he said in his heart, “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly (moed: appointed time, meeting) in the recesses of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” And My reply to his bold faith declarations of words that were not Mine, “Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, to the recesses of the pit.” Isaiah 14:12-14. And Jesus affirms this judgment, “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels.” Matthew 25:41.
A liar from the beginning and the father of lies. But do you see what he wanted? The throne above the angels on the mount of the assembly and to be like Me, in My image and likeness, to operate in My power as his own. And what throne was that? The throne at My right hand. He wanted the dominion throne I had given to men when I created man and gave him the earth as his domain. He wanted to be seated in Heaven on that throne that was meant for you and be like Me in speaking words to get results that happened. Power over the earth. And when he could not achieve it by speaking it, he decided to take it by stealth from the one it was given to, mankind, and he made a plan to steal it from the one he was so intensely jealous of—Adam. I made angels to serve you who are heirs of salvation. Satan was in Eden to serve and minister to Adam and Eve, I revealed this to My prophet Ezekiel, “You had the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God. . . You were the anointed cherub who guards, and I placed you there. . . Until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned.” Ezekiel 28:11-16. Instead of serving as the guardian angel of Adam and Eve he chose to take their authority as his own and make mankind serve him as he took their throne. Job 1:6-7.
And he succeeded with them and took that seat and became what man was made to be—the god of this world for as long as man has the leasehold to the earth. But he took it illegally by their authority for he was not a man, he was not made in My image and likeness. But when Jesus came in the flesh as the second and last Adam, He took back the throne at My right hand and knocked Satan off it down to the earth. Revelation 12:9-11. And when I raised Christ as Son of God and Son of Man, I raised you up as one with Him and seated you with Him on that very throne. “He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelation 3: 21. And how do you overcome? I tell you, “And they overcame him (the devil) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony.” Revelation 12:11.
Here I want to explain something to you that is a matter of life and death. Only men have authority to speak over the earth and their own lives. The devil cannot do that. He must get a man or woman to speak his words by thinking his thoughts in order to get his will done in the earth. So he will push you into situations where he is causing trouble. You may think your co-worker or your spouse is your problem but actually they are being employed by the devil to irritate and anger you so you will curse them and then he can go to work with your words. And by curse I do not mean just cussing, I mean speaking evil of yourself or others. When Balak hired Balaam to curse the Israelites he meant to pronounce evil, weakness, defeat, and a bad end on them. Do not get in fear and speak failure over your life. You are not agreeing with Me but with the devil. He will make every effort to blind your eyes to the truth of the gospel and take you captive to do his will by your own mouth. Do not give in. Stand strong on the rock foundation of My Word, put on the full armor I give you, which all has to do with abiding in My Word, and you will win, every time. But if you get out of agreement with Me you block My grace from helping you. You must remain in My Word and let it remain in you to abide in the vine and stay in flow with Me.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Ephesians 6:10-13.
And it is not just the devil that you have to overcome. It is primarily yourself, that is, you have to not give in to the lies of the devil and stand firm in your faith, which is believing My Word in your heart and speaking it with your mouth and nothing else. You cannot agree with the devil, the world, and your flesh and also with Me. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot overcome by speaking blessing and cursing, by speaking life and death. You have to guard your heart, watch your thoughts, and watch your words or you will not overcome. Adam did not overcome. Why? He did not know what he had and who he was. The devil told him he did not have what he already had and he believed that lie, just as many do today, and he sinned in seeking to obtain what he already had in Me apart from Me. And the devil did not overcome either, he was a cherub of beauty of pure perfection, but he fell victim to his own pride and ambition in gazing at what he had in Me, and instead of advancing him to take the kingdom it resulted in his downfall to hell. And he wants to drag you there to. If he cannot have the throne, he does not want you to have it either.
The devil took mankind through Adam and Eve by deceiving them into seeking in presumptuous pride what they already had so that they rebelled against My Word and submitted to his, and that corrupted the seed, of whom you are all descended according to the flesh, down to the dust of death, but Jesus came and took that sentence for you before Me and raised you up from the dust to be seated with Him in Heaven born again of the imperishable seed of My Word. And He did it legally as a man of flesh and blood, emptying Himself of all His powers as God, relying as you do now on the Holy Spirit, My Words, and My Name. He showed you how to live, to walk, and to talk.
Do not give in to the devil’s tactics and schemes. Watch. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is already yours in Me. You need look no other place. “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:6-11.
I love you. Now that you know what the devil is after you will be aware to never give in to him again. Just keep agreeing with Me and you will be safe and secure, filled with My grace, and seated in Heaven, and reigning with Me now and forever. Keep your eyes on the prize that is already yours—oneness with Me in dominion authority as My children and co-workers running our family business, the Kingdom, both on earth and in Heaven until the two unite as one. Revelation 21-22. Think about this next time you start to rebel against My Word, I am present as YOUR helper. Do not cut off your lifeline. Let Me be your healer by agreeing that I am.
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.
And there will no longer be any night; and they [d]will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever. Revelation 22:5.
