Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy Name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:4-5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I have anointed you with the same anointing as Christ. You have the mind of Christ. The anointing comes from the head and runs down over the body. The anointing of your great High Priest is upon His body, His royal priesthood, the Church. And you are a part of that, an important part. And what is that anointing? I tell you in both the Old and New Testaments that I have anointed Him with the oil of joy. “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your companions.” Hebrews 1:9. Why? The joy of the LORD is your strength. I have anointed you with fresh oil. “But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.” Psalm 92:10.
Fresh oil. Each morning My mercies are new. At night weeping enters in but rejoicing comes in the morning. “Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy Name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:4-5. “Awake, awake, clothe yourself in your strength.” Isaiah 52:1. “Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, sing a song! Judges 5:12. “Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.” Psalm 57:8. “The Lord LORD (Adonai YHWH) has given Me the tongue of disciples, that I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. The Lord LORD has opened My ear; and I was not disobedient nor did I turn back.” Isaiah 50:4-5. Open your heart to Me each morning and let the spirit of happiness fill your being with peace. Invite Me in to live your day with you. In My presence is fullness of joy, the delights at My right hand forever. And that is where you are sitting with Jesus on the throne of man at My right hand. “Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself.” Psalm 80:17.
Cast your cares upon Me and rest in knowing that all will be done to work things together for your good. And each morning I will give you a Word that will raise you up to walk in peace with Me, peace that passes understanding. A happy spirit. A cheerful heart does good like a medicine. Have faith for the joy. Come each day to share My joy and joyfully draw water from the springs of Salvation. And how do I share My joy with you? By My Word, the Word I give you to rouse you. My Words are life to those who find them and health (medicine) to their entire bodies. My resurrection power is constantly flowing within you, release it by being aware of it. Let yourself be molded and shaped into a worthy vessel of honor by My hand upon you. And My hand shows you favor. “This Ezra went up from Babylon, and he was a scribe skilled in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given; and the king granted him all he requested because the hand of the LORD his God was upon him.” Ezra 7:6.
Take My hand and let Me lead and guide you. The power and the light is hidden in My hands. I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, the Holy Spirit hovering over and in you.
Lean on Me and not your own understanding. There are often times a way seems right to a man but it ends in death. My Spirit in you will tell you of the things to come and keep you on level ground.
It is good to consult Me before you decide what you want. Consider Hezekiah. His heart was toward Me. He trusted in Me so greatly that after him there was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among those who were before him. For he clung to Me; he did not depart from following Me, but kept My commandments, which I had commanded Moses. And I was with him; wherever he went he prospered. 2 Kings 18:5-6. After many days of astounding miracles and victories that I gave him and a rich full life, Hezekiah became sick, sick to the point of death. I knew what was in the years ahead. Here is what happened, “In those days Hezekiah became mortally ill. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.’” Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD, saying, “Remember now, O LORD, I beseech You, how I have walked before You in truth and with a whole heart and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD. I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.” Then Isaiah said, “Take a cake of figs.” And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.” 2 Kings 20:1-7.
I listened to him and gave him fifteen more years, just because he asked Me to do so. But in those fifteen years he made the worst mistakes of his life. It cost Judah is security so that it was burned to the ground and taken by Babylon many years later, 2 Kings 20:12-19, and in those fifteen years he begot a son, Manasseh, who became king at twelve years old when Hezekiah died, who tore down all his father had done for Me and built shrines to idols, even in My temple, and led all Judah away from Me to worship idols.
“Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Hephzibah. He did evil in the sight of the LORD, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD dispossessed before the sons of Israel. For he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he erected altars for Baal and made an Asherah, as Ahab king of Israel had done, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. He built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “In Jerusalem I will put My name.” For he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. He made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD provoking Him to anger. Then he set the carved image of Asherah that he had made, in the house of which the LORD said to David and to his son Solomon, “In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen from all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever. And I will not make the feet of Israel wander anymore from the land which I gave their fathers, if only they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.” But they did not listen, and Manasseh seduced them to do evil more than the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the sons of Israel.” 2 Kings 20:1-9.
Later in life, he was taken prisoner by the Assyrians and they bound him with bronze chains and took him to Babylon. When he was in distress, he entreated Me and humbled himself greatly before Me, the God of his fathers. When he prayed to Me, I was moved by his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that I the LORD am God and he tore down the idols, cleansed My temple, and again offered peace offerings and thank offerings and instructed the people to serve Me. 2 Chronicles 33:10-20.
Consult Me before you decide what you want to do. It could have serious consequences. Adam and Eve did not consult Me before they decided the best way for their own interests was to follow the devil. David consulted Me before every battle and major decision in his life, but he did not consult Me before sinning with Bathsheba, he just went off and did what he wanted. Be careful about this. I am present as your helper. For a child is born to you, a Son is given you and on His shoulder dominion rests, and His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, God Hero, Father forever, Prince of Peace. And He gave you another counselor to be with you and in you forever, the Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit. And He is the wonderful counselor. Be led by the Holy Spirit.
I love you. Entrust your plans to Me and they will prosper. When you partner with Me wonderful things happen, beyond all you can ask or imagine by My Spirit working in you. Pay attention to Him.
