If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7.
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
May the love of God the Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you! Remember that 2021 is the year of triumph, so keep up your courage and arise and shine, all you who hope in the Lord. And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
God desires above all that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers as you walk with Him in His Word, which is truth, each day. He teaches you to profit and the way you should go. And Jesus gave you a tremendous promise: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7.
Have you ever read this promise? Do you believe it? And the most important question, has it come to pass in your life? If it has not, and if in your heart you have been disappointed when things did not manifest that you had wanted and asked for, then it is time to take another look for His Word is truth and all of God’s magnificent promises are “yes” to us in Jesus.
First, you see that this promise is only for those who abide in Jesus and His Words abide in them. I was desirous to know what it means to abide in Him and have His Words abiding in me so I too could have this promise take reality in my life. In answer to my request the LORD began a series of life lessons on the abiding life that is unfolding before me each day and setting me free in a wondrous way. And I would like to share it with you. Here are the titles of the lessons: Life Lesson No. 1: “Forgive, Forget, and Proceed,” Life Lesson No. 2: “ Do not fear, only keep on believing,” Life Lesson No. 3: “Give and it shall be given unto you,” Life Lesson No. 4: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength,” Life Lesson No. 5: “Love one another as I have loved you,” Life Lesson No. 6: “Believe in the Name (Mindful of the Covenant),” Life Lesson No 7: “Never Waiver, Never Quit—the life of the overcomer,” Life Lesson No. 8: “Call it all joy,” and Life Lesson No. 9: “Just Agree.”
In this Sunday’s weekly Bible study on Zoom from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm Hawaii time, we will begin with the Abiding Life series and find what it means to be so united with Jesus as a branch abiding in the vine that you become one in desire, purpose, and productivity. The branch cannot produce fruit without the vine, but neither can the vine produce fruit without the branch. They become one. United hearts, united wills, united lives—for eternity. A covenant partnership of fellowship and joy unspeakable filled with glory. All you need to do is agree with what He says about you, and to find out just look at Psalm 103:3-5 and after each line say, “I agree.”
Here is the link for the Bible study and I hope to see you there.
