Can two walk together, except they agree? Amos 3:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
Things impossible to man will manifest in your life, all by the power of agreement with Me and with others of like mind. The more you come into agreement with Me, the more My Spirit can move in and through you, and the more you will see of Me until I become your reality so that no weapon formed against you can prosper and every tongue that accuses you in judgment, you will condemn. Why? Because you will be walking in the truth by agreeing with My Words and abiding in them as they abide in you. And that comes back to the abiding life, as a branch abiding in the vine or a member of the body abiding in the body, working together in perfect agreement and alignment. And this is production at the maximum when all are orchestrated together in one glorious symphony. And that is the heart of the tremendous promise Jesus gave you the night before He died for your sins, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” John 15:7-8.
Today is the last day of our Life Lessons on how to live the abiding life, although the abiding life is forever and all nine of these lessons should stay in your heart continually, and it is Life Lesson No. 9: “Agree.” There is tremendous power released in agreement. One can chase a thousand, but two can put ten thousand to flight. “Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven, for where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:19-20. When you gather with other believers in My Name and agree with one another and Me, it is done. Acts 4:23-31. The first community of those who believed were of one heart and soul and they were powerful in good works and there was not a needy one among them—great grace was upon them all.
There is power in agreement, so be careful who and what you are agreeing with. For just as your agreement with My Words results in a beautiful and blessed life filled with revelation and impartation of the divine, so too agreement with the evil one brings about destruction and the curse in your life. Never yoke yourself with an unbeliever in agreement, for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with the devil, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God 2 Corinthians 6:14-16.
Do you remember the tower of Babel? At that time, all people spoke one language and though I had told them to spread abroad they all decided to settle in one place and build a tower that reached up to Heaven. What was My response? “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.” Genesis 11:6. There is great power in agreement, for good or for evil.
Do you want to agree that you are healed, blessed, protected, forgiven and blest or do you want to speak the contrary and proclaim that you are sick, cursed, in danger, guilty, shamed, and lacking good things? And yet people confess those more than agreeing with Me though they are begging Me to do those things for them which I have already done in Jesus while they declare that they do not have them. This is not confident agreement but fear that I will not give you exactly what you need. And yet I have promised you to see to your needs as you seek the Kingdom.
When you agree with Me you are walking in the truth, for My Word is truth and the truth sanctifies you. John 17:17. And then your soul prospers. And as your soul prospers inwardly, you prosper and are in good health outwardly. “Beloved, I desire above all that in all respects you prosper and are in good health, just as your soul prospers. For I was very glad when brethren came and testified to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth. I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:2-4. And why does walking in the truth cause you to prosper in all parts of you, inner and outer? The devil is the father of lies, he is a liar from the beginning and can do no differently. And it is the devil who brings the curse—he is the destroyer. He is the accuser of the brethren. He is the tongue that accuses you in judgment that you condemn by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony. Isaiah 55:17; Revelation 12:11. And concerning judgment, the ruler of this world has been judged. John 16:11.
As you abide in Me and My Words abide in you, My Holy Spirit will take you by navigation to the place of inspiration where the clouds part and you can see the glory on the face of Christ as My Spirit transforms you into the same image from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18.
The place of agreement is the place of answers. It is not a place of agitation but of peaceful meditation where divine revelation gives you the way to walk. Your spirit need not strive with Mine but can flow together with Mine. It is hard for you to kick against the goad. I cannot give you the good I plan for you if your words are stout against Mine. Words against Mine are blessing blockers.
Why don’t you just agree and walk with Me? Agree that you are healed, agree that you are loved, agree that you are provided for, agree that I strengthen you and give you peace, agree that I deliver you, agree that I am your refuge, agree that I am your helper, agree that your sins are forgiven, and agree that all My magnificent promises are “yes” to you in Christ Jesus your Lord. Agree that He is your righteousness, redemption, wisdom, sanctification, great High Priest, and Shepherd forever. I make it easy; don’t you see? Just agree and walk with Me in blessed unity. No anxiety, no fear, no efforts to convince Me to do what I have already done, just agree I did it and take it as your own before you see it in the physical. That is faith and without faith it is impossible to please Me. Why? Because then I cannot give you all the good I want to give you. Because all I do has to be received by faith. And if you really think about it, faith is agreement that what I say you are and have, you are and you have.
Just agree and you will see how beautiful your life will become. It will be just like My Beloved Son in power and goodness, for He always agreed with Me. That is how simple your life can be.
Would you like to practice agreement? Let us do it now. I will take you to Psalm 103 and show you what to do. Psalm 103 begins: “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” Just close your eyes now and direct every organ, every part, every blood vessel and nerve in your body to bless Me in perfect alignment with the purpose for which they were created. And then continue, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits.” And now begin to speak out My benefits to you who are in covenant with Me, “He pardons all your iniquities.” Stop there and say to yourself “He has forgiven ALL, my sins, failures, and transgressions.” And respond to that, “I AGREE!” And cast down the thoughts of guilt, shame, failure, and regret you have been speaking stout against Me and the finished work of Christ on your behalf. And then continue on to the next line of Psalm 103: “He heals all your diseases.” And say, “I AGREE!” And stop thinking that there is any disease, illness, pain, or infirmity coming against you or upon you that I cannot or will not heal. ALL is ALL. Stop fearing and start agreeing with a shout of joy! And go on to the next line, “Who redeems your life from the pit.” And shout, “I AGREE!” And stop your thoughts of lack, financial failure, depression, mental and emotional illness and take them captive and cast them out by agreeing and refusing to speak anything to the contrary. Do not open your mouth to speak anything but blessing and increase over your life and that of your family. Increase starts with your words. Proverbs 18:20-21. And then go on to the next benefit, “He surrounds and crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion.” And shout, “I AGREE! And next time thoughts of rejection, inadequacy, failed relationships, and lack of companionship come rout them out by declaring favor, love, and friendship in Me for you. And go on to the next line: “He fills my days and years with good things.” And shout, “I AGREE!” And if you agree you will have to stop saying that nothing good happens for you and that your life is filled with bad things. You would be surprised how many believers declare these kind of words though they really do not want that result, but that is the result they will get. Agree with Me each day and watch the good things flow in. And finally declare the next benefit, “Your youth is renewed like the eagle.” And shout with complete conviction, “I AGREE!” And stop commenting on your wrinkles, thin hair, memory loss, etc. No! that is not agreeing that is being unbelieving. And My promises and benefits come to pass according to your faith. And faith speaks the result. I speak life to the dead and call the things which do not exist as existing. Romans 4:17. And I made you in My image and likeness. So you must do likewise to get the same results. Agree and walk free with Me. Where My Spirit is there is freedom.
And consider Jesus, the apostle and High Priest of your confession. The word translated “confession” in the Greek in which it was first written, is the word “homologia,” which means speaking the same thing in absolute agreement. You have to agree with your High Priest by saying what He says about you and about your circumstances. You do not see it and then say it. You say it and then see it. Why is that? Because He brings your words to Me and I watch over My Word to perform it.
I love you. Agree with Me so completely that there is no room for any contrary word, which would make you doubt and pout. I told Jeremiah, “If you return, then I will bring you back; you shall stand before Me. If you take out the precious from the vile, you shall be as My mouth. Let them return to you, but you must not return to them. And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall; and they will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and deliver you,” says the LORD. “I will deliver you from the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you from the grip of the terrible.” Jeremiah 15:19-21. Speak only My precious thoughts towards you and not the vile words of the enemy. Speak the truth and it will set you free to condemn his accusations of judgment against you. There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. I have set you free from all that bound you. Agree.
