“Let them curse, but you bless; when they arise, they shall be ashamed, but Your servant shall be glad.” Psalm 109:28.
The BLESSING OF THE LORD makes rich and He adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants. Deuteronomy 30:19.
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
My Words are not hard to find, you do not have to go up to the highest Heaven to hear them. I send My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions. From the rising to the setting of the sun My Word goes forth. I knock at the door of your heart and if anyone hears My voice and opens to Me, I come in to that person and dine with them and they with Me. My Words are near you, in your mouth and in your heart—that is, the word of faith, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that I raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10. It is then you are clothed in Christ, that is, the garments of Salvation and the robe of righteousness, and I give you the victory in Christ Jesus. As He is so are you in this world. And He is an overcomer. Revelation 3:21.
How do I give you the victory over the world, the flesh and the devil and all the trials that come with the world system that Adam ushered in by giving in to the spirit of disobedience? “ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57. “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14. “But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him (Jesus) who loved us.” Romans 8:37. “Who is the one who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:5. “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5. Do you see? And it is a recurring theme since the first line of the Bible to the last, the only way to victory is Jesus. I give you everything necessary for the abundant, triumphant, victorious life in Him and Him alone.
And who is this Hero in whom I give you the victory over sin and death? Who is this One whose Name is Wonderful in whom all authority in Heaven and on earth resides? Who is this who loved you and gave His life for you? Who is this who emptied Himself and became poor so you could be rich with all His riches and glory? Who is this who became sin for you so you could be My righteousness? Who is this that loved you and released you from your sins by His blood and made you a royal priesthood unto Me? Who is this that makes you holy and blameless without reproach before Me? Who is this who gives you open access to Me and My throne of grace? Who is this who conquered the devil’s power over you, crushed his head, and led you in the triumphal victory celebration? Who is this who became a curse for you as He hung on the tree to redeem you from the curse of the law so that in Him you receive the Blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit by faith? Who is this who will raise your mortal bodies to immortality and glory on the Last Day? Who is this conquering King of kings and Lord of lords who has feet like polished brass, a face more radiant than the sun shining in full splendor, and a sharp two edged Sword coming from His mouth? “His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called THE WORD OF GOD.” Revelation 19:12-13.
Yes, there it is for you. He is MY WORD. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it.” John 1:1-5. By My Word the heavens, the earth, the sea, the universe and everything that was made was made. And that is still the case. I do nothing except by My Word. And Jesus is the living expression coming deep from within My bosom to explain Me to you.
And My Word turns the curse into a Blessing for you.
You have the victory in Christ Jesus, who is My Word, so where is your victory? In My Word. My Words in your mouth are the Sword of the Spirit. The same one that I show you coming from the mouth of My Son in the Book of Revelation when He comes to conquer all evil, death, and darkness that is in the world. But on you who believe the Light will shine. And the light is in the Word. He is the light of the world, no follower of His will ever walk in darkness, for you have the light of life. A people living in darkness has seen a great light, for a child was born to you and a Son given you and on His shoulder dominion rests.
“Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:1-3. That sounds like the life of an overcomer! “Who is this that grows like the dawn, as beautiful as the full moon, as pure as the sun, as awesome as an army with banners?” Song of Songs 6:10. This describes the growth of the life of the overcoming believer, from the first sliver of light coming up over the mountains, growing brighter and brighter till it is pure light with no darkness at all. And like the full moon in that it is totally reflecting to the fullness the light from the Sun (Son) without the shadow of the world in the way. And the result? As awesome as an army coming forth with banners! My banner over you is love, which never fails. I am your banner, I am your victory. Exodus 17:15.
And all that light is from the Word. And My Word brings the BLESSING, IF YOU WILL SPEAK BLESSING. And that is Life Lesson No. 3 as I continue our series on how to enforce the victory that I have already given you in Jesus so that the devil does not steal it from you as he did from Adam. Life Lesson No. 1 was the NAME, Life Lesson No. 2 was the BLOOD, and Life Lesson No. 3 is the WORD. And in Jesus, I have given you all three, the NAME, the BLOOD, and the WORD. And all three speak of Covenant.
It is time you took up the Sword of the Spirit and enforced your victory. It is time that you took possession of your possessions, which include all the benefits of Psalm 103.
How do you do this? There are many answers to this question throughout the Bible, such as I gave Joshua for success and to overcome against the enemies in the promised land, as Solomon gave you in the book of Proverbs, as I tell you in Psalm 1, as Paul tells you in his letters, and many more places where I tell you the importance of renewing your mind to My Words so that you think and speak like Me and get My results. And Jesus told you to speak to mountains with faith in your heart to move them. It is all about what words you will choose to think upon, ponder, and say; but today I am focusing on one that many people forget even though they are making confessions of My Word in agreement with your Great High Priest, Jesus. And you find a clue to it in the book of James. First he explains, “For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.” James 3:2. Here you see that what you say controls your life, including the health of your body. But then he elaborates about your words and tells you something of great importance to the health and well being of your soul and body and it all has to do with how to enforce the victory already given you in Christ Jesus your Lord: “from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing, My brethren, these things ought not to be this way. Does a fountain send out from the same opening both sweet and bitter water? Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Nor can saltwater produce sweet water.” James 3:10-12.
It is very simple, if you want good health, long life, renewed youth, abundant provision, and a beautiful, fruitful life, this is only produced by THE BLESSING operating in your life. And My Word, Jesus, has redeemed you from the curse and given you THE BLESSING. The one with which I first blessed mankind when I created them. And look at it again, and read the Eden Blessing, which became the Blessing of Abraham and of My Covenant people: “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, “Bear much fruit and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:26-27. Sounds like more than a conqueror, doesn’t it? And when you abide in Jesus and His WORDS abide in you, you ask what you will and it is done for you so that you bear MUCH FRUIT and thus prove to be My disciples.
Speak BLESSING and not cursing. This may sound simple but most people do not. When you have an illness, dead veins, a failing kidney, decaying lungs, speak life to that part, do not curse it by telling everyone about how dysfunctional it is, instead tell it “LIVE!” and then bless its fruitfulness, its perfect functioning, its strength, its purity, its wholeness and perfection. CALL IT BLESSED. Speak BLESSING OVER IT. Use the blessing I gave Moses to give to the priests to speak over the people, use the one Jacob used over Joseph, use the one Isaac spoke over Jacob, use the one I forced Balaam to say over the Israelites when I turned the curse into a Blessing for them because I loved them as My covenant people. And speak the BLESSING over your finances, your business, your schoolwork, your children, your spouse, yourself, your work place, your home, your vehicle, any mode of transportation you are taking. Speak it over your finances and supplies. JESUS BLESSED THE FIVE LOAVES AND TWO FISH, and what did they do? Multiplied.
Be like Me. I speak life to the dead and call the things which do not exist as existing. Romans 4:17. And how do I do that? The Blessing. My Blessing is an empowerment to prosper in every area of your being. THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU! THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE SHINE ON YOU! Say that to all your body, your families, your finances, and your work. And sing with all of you, every part and every organ, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, AND ALL THAT IS WITHIN ME BLESS HIS HOLY NAME. Bless the LORD, O My Soul, and do not forget ALL His benefits! He forgives ALL My sins (and bless your emotions and troubled, guilt ridden soul with that and the BLESSING will go to work), He heals ALL my diseases and pains (and bless your body with that Word and the BLESSING will go to work, just as it did when I first spoke it to man, to renew, restore, replenish and make fruitful), He redeems me from the pit (and bless your finances, emotional lows, and feelings of rejection with that and the BLESSING will go to work), He surrounds me with love and compassion (and bless your loneliness and broken relationships with that and the BLESSING WILL GO TO WORK to mend your broken heart, remember, Jesus came to heal the broken hearted), He fills my days with GOOD things (bless your day each morning with that and the BLESSING will go to work to load you with benefits!) so my youth is renewed like the eagles (speak that to your aging skin, hair and waning strength and THE BLESSING will go to work so that “your flesh become fresher than in youth and you will return to the days of your youthful vigor” Job 33:24-25).
Peter told the astonished crowd when by the Name of Jesus he healed the man lame from birth, that I sent Jesus to bless you and that the faith that comes in His Name raised up the lame man and blessed him with perfect health. Do you recall the last thing Jesus did as He ascended back to Me when He finished the work I gave Him to do on earth? “And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven.” Luke 24:50-51. And He is still speaking BLESSING. He is the BLESSING. And He is My Word.
Put the BLESSING to work. THE BLESSING KNOWS HOW TO TURN WASTE PLACES INTO A GARDEN OF EDEN. I gave it to you in the beginning but man let in the curse (poverty, sickness and death—corruption) but Jesus came and redeemed you from the curse and gave you back the BLESSING and you take it by faith in Him, who is My Word. Speak it and put it to work in your life. Never speak words of death, shame, degradation, or lack over anything or anyone, including yourself. Instead BLESS into wholeness. “Let them curse, but You bless; when they arise, they shall be ashamed, but Your servant shall be glad.” Psalm 109:28.
I love you. You overcome the devil because of the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and because of your WORD OF THE TESTIMONY. And My testimony about you? Same as it was about the Israelites when Balaam was hired to curse them, “Behold, I have received a command to bless; when He has blessed, then I cannot revoke it. He has not observed iniquity or misfortune in Jacob; nor has He seen trouble in Israel; the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.” Numbers 23:20-21. And that same blessing is on you in Jesus. I see no iniquity or misfortune or trouble in you, I see you washed in His Blood—holy, blameless and beyond reproach. And I see you healed. The shout of the KING is among you and it is the victory shout. Will you shout it now?
