In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness cannot take it down. John 1:4-5.
This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God says:
I have qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. I have rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And when your sins are gone, you can step into and fellowship with the Light. I am Light and Jesus is the Light of the World. I have called you out of darkness into My own wonderful Light. There is no darkness in Me at all and you should not tolerate any in yourself. Whatever you are hiding in the dark, bring it out into My Light and it will be changed. For darkness cannot overpower, seize, or take down light. Even one small candle lit in a darkened theater will attract all eyes to it, to the light. And My Word is a light to your path and a lamp to your feet. You have the prophetic word made sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your heart. 2 Peter 1:19.
When you walk into a dark room you will stumble over things, you will bump into things, you can get hurt if you miss a step down or up and fall on your face, but if you just flick the light switch and turn on the light, then the dark room is revealed and you will not stumble or fall. Darkness cannot prevail over light. And that is Life Lesson No. 5 in this teaching series on how to enforce the victory that you are already given in Christ Jesus: “Light Prevails.” When you bring light into a dark place the darkness has to flee. So if you walk in the Light, as I am Light, you walk with Me and nothing and no one can overpower Me. I am God Almighty, the Most High, and there is no other God but Me. You are all the work of My hands. You were made by Light and Love, for I am Light and I am Love. And science has now discovered that and is using laser to drive out disease in the body, take off wrinkles, tattoos and other brands and defacing marks. And they have found that infants without love wither and die, as do all people, without love there is no abundant life. Without Me you can do nothing, but with your life filled with Light and Love you can do all things, and better yet, you can enjoy them. With long life I will SATISFY you and show you My Salvation. Yeshuah. He is the answer and He is the Light of the world.
How do you turn on the Light in a dark place? First of all it is not much of a battle if you just turn on the light, the darkness will be gone as soon as you turn it on. The revelation of My Word sheds light. My first spoken Words in the Bible are releasing Light into darkness. Imitate Me as My dear children and speak light into a dark place. How do you do that? You submit to My Words about you, about healing, about provision, about faith, about favor, about the blessing, and with those words you resist the darkness the devil tries to blind your minds with to the light of My glorious gospel of Jesus, of grace, and of the Kingdom. 2 Corinthians 4:4 (“the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”). Thoughts of depression and oppression need to be routed out by speaking words of joy and freedom in Me. Sing a new song and I draw you out of the miry pit to place your feet on a sunlit height. Jesus came to undo the works of the devil and He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And you undo them by reversing the curse and turning it into a blessing as Balaam did over the Israelites. I commanded him to bless them and not curse them, I command you to do the same over all that pertains to you and your life. And the Blessing turns darkness to light, to a vast and open space.
Light is powerful. “For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, but Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, for You favored them.” Psalm 44:3. In My Light you see Light. The closer you draw to Me, the more time you spend it My Word, the more filled with Light you become for you live in the light of My countenance. “How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Your countenance.” Psalm 89:15.
Words of light are words of life. Hold fast to the Word of life. How do you do that? “Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the Word of life.” Philippians 2:4-6. The grumbling, complaining, disputing, and backbiting has to stop for you to enforce the victory. You cannot serve two masters and expect to enforce the victory. If you are serving Satan you cannot take your territory out of his reach. But you have been called, chosen, and raised “to proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His own marvelous Light.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.
And I am the LORD of Hosts, and Jesus is the Prince and captain of the angelic armies. And they shine as shafts of light. “And of the angels, He says, “Who makes angels winds and His ministers flames of fire.” Hebrews 1:7. And the angels are ascending and descending on My Son. “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?” Yes, I give you these precious and beautiful spirits of pure translucent light to serve and minister unto you who are heirs of Salvation. Just read the Book of Revelation, angels enforce the victory and they add incense to your prayers on the golden altar of incense in Heaven. And then they throw those censors, bring the results, to the earth. And they gather you from the four winds to be raised up in your glorified bodies when Jesus returns.
Jesus told the crowd that came against Him that He could call on Me and I would send twelve legions of angels to protect and rescue Him, but He chose not to do so because He was determined to die for you so that you could have life eternal. But David told you this powerful way of enforcing the victory, “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and rescues them.” Psalm 34:7. And do you recall Elisha’s defense and victory over the enemy army that came to attack him? The king of Aram heard it was Elisha who was discerning his battle strategies against the king of Israel, so he sent his army to capture and destroy Elisha. The army came and encircled the home of Elisha. Elisha’s servant saw the army encamped against them and feared, but Elisha told him, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:16-17. The angelic host ready to enforce the victory for Elisha.
And what did I tell Moses and later Joshua? “Then the LORD spoke to Moses, “Depart, go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up from the land of Egypt to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your descendants I will give it.’ I will send an angel before you and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite.” Exodus 33:1-2. And later, the Prince of the angelic army stood before Joshua as they were entering the Promised Land headed for the conquest of Jericho. When they shouted and blew the trumpets, how do you think I enforced the victory? Angels. And the same was true for Hezekiah when Jerusalem was surrounded by the Assyrian army, I sent one angel in answer to his prayer that knocked out 185,000 of the enemy and the rest packed up and went home. Just as I had foretold.
And do you remember when Herod put Peter in prison and planned to put him to death for preaching about Jesus? The church prayed on his behalf and I sent an angel. “So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God. On the very night when Herod was about to bring him forward, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and guards in front of the door were watching over the prison. And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared and a light shone in the cell; and he struck Peter’s side and woke him up, saying, “Get up quickly.” And his chains fell off his hands. And the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.” And he went out and continued to follow, and he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they had passed the first and second guard, they came to the iron gate that leads into the city, which opened for them by itself; and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel departed from him. When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I know for sure that the Lord has sent forth His angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” Acts 12:5-11. And this was not the first time angels enforced the victory for the church, soon after Pentecost, when many were converting seeing the healings and wonders taking place at the hands of the apostles, “the high priest rose up, along with all his associates (that is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy. They laid hands on the apostles and put them in a public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and taking them out he said, “Go, stand and speak to the people in the temple the whole message of this Life.” Upon hearing this, they entered into the temple about daybreak and began to teach.” Acts 5:17-21.
David too knew to call on angels to enforce the victory, “Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life; let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me. Let them be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.” Psalm 35:4-6.
When you walk in the Light, you are walking among the angels with Me. And they are not far from you, for the Kingdom is within you. That is why they can behold My face and be with you to bear you up lest you strike your foot against a stone. “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:11-12. Angels enforcing the victory with you and for you at My express command. I am Light and I am the LORD of Hosts. Ministers of light to those who are in the light. Heirs of salvation, My children.
I love you. You are children of the light. You are light in Me. My Son is the Light of the world and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the light of life. And My Son called you the Light of the world too. For He is in you and I light your lamp with the same anointing that lights His, My Spirit. Let our light shine to show My goodness in a dark world. Enforce the victory by turning on the Light in every dark place. Speak light and light will manifest. And light always prevails. Darkness just cannot overcome it or take it down. Even if a cloud momentarily covers the sun for those below, it is still shining full force above. You just have to set your sights higher. Do you understand? Colossians 3:1-3.
