For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11.
The mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
A life in Christ is a life of glory. That is the life Jesus lived and that is the life He lives in you. Christ in you, your hope of glory. And that is today’s life lesson in this study of how to live your life IN CHRIST: “A life of Glory.”
Awake, sleeper! And Christ will give you light, for My glory is shining on the face of Christ and His face is shining in and on you. He is the Light of the world, and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but shall have the Light of Life.
It is now the time I foretold by My prophet Isaiah: “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” Isaiah 60:1-2. For just as My first words in creation were “Light be” and the light shone out of darkness, I have made you a new creation IN CHRIST and My light has shone in your hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of My glory in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.
What is My glory? When Moses asked to see My glory, I defined My glory as My goodness, but you must not pass this off lightly, My goodness is ABSOLUTE goodness with no evil or darkness or shadow of turning it at all. Every good thing and perfect gift comes down from Me the Father of Lights (Lights and Perfections – the Urim and Thummin). My goodness is so overwhelming and so full of Light, grace, and truth that is impossible for you to see the full revelation of My glory and keep living in your mortal flesh. It surpasses human understanding and sight, to know it you must have the mind of Christ, that is, the anointing of the anointed One, which is the anointing with the Holy Spirit as the revealer of divine mysteries and of My deepest thoughts which manifest in Jesus as My Word. Eye has not yet seen the fullness of the glory of what I have prepared for those who love Me. But one day, that forever day of eternity which is the coming age, you will behold it with your own glorious eyes, but even now, IN CHRIST, you can live a life of glory for Christ has given you light. You can gaze upon Him and still live. Just as Isaiah did. Isaiah 6:1; John 12:41 (“These things Isaiah said because he saw His [Jesus’] glory, and he spoke of Him.”). But in the present age, until you are born again from above, you cannot see or enter the Kingdom. Why? Because of Adam and Eve submitting their lives to the devil and turning off their spirits to Me and turning their spirits on to sin. They made the devil their god and handed their dominion authority to him. And from that day on, “the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:4.
My glory can be spoken of as My goodness, My presence, and My power. All three were there when Jesus came and as He did My works among the people what was their response? They gave Me glory.
Before Jesus came in the flesh, My glory would come tangibly among the people in a cloud that had a pillar of fire within it. When My cloud of glory filled their tabernacle or temple no one could see to minister but had to suspend activity to bask in My presence. People would fall out to the ground in its power and magnificence. The first time My glory appears as recorded in My Word is to usher in My gift of Manna when I had redeemed them from the slavery of Egypt and was taking them across the wilderness to the land I had promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And I tell you that My glory filled the night sky as a sign when the true bread from Heaven came to earth in Christ being born in Bethlehem. And not only My glory appeared but the angelic host with it to announce the good news of My Son’s birth as your Savior, Messiah, and Lord. My glorious gospel.
My glory always points to Jesus, just as I did out of the cloud of glory on the mountain when Jesus was transfigured before His disciples. For a brief moment I pulled back the veil of His flesh and let the three disciples see My glory shining in and through Christ as I proclaimed Him as My beloved Son in whom I was well pleased and directed them to LISTEN to Him. His is the voice of glory.
In the time of Moses, My glory rested continually upon the tabernacle, and it was the cloud of glory by day and the fire in the cloud by night that led them on their journey to the promised land. You could call it their GPS, which stands for “God’s Powerful Spirit” for you who believe, for now that guide and leader is within you guiding and leading you to the truth that is in Christ, your promised land.
In the book of Exodus, I instruct the people through Moses about what was to be continually before Me on the bronze altar at the entrance to the tabernacle in the outer court, I said to Moses, “Now this is what you shall offer on the altar: two one year old lambs each day, continuously. The one lamb you shall offer in the morning and the other lamb you shall offer at twilight; and there shall be one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine for a drink offering with one lamb. The second lamb you shall offer at twilight, and shall offer with it the same grain offering and the same drink offering as in the morning, for a soothing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD. It shall be a CONTINUAL burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. I will meet there with the sons of Israel, and it shall be CONSECRATED BY MY GLORY. I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar; I will also consecrate Aaron and his sons to minister as priests to Me. I will dwell among the sons of Israel and will be their God. They shall know that I am the LORD their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, that I might dwell among them; I am the LORD their God.” Exodus 29:38-46.
There is much about Jesus here. For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the very substance of things, could never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually year by year, make perfect those who draw near. Hebrews 10:1. These things are a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ (the Body and Blood of Christ). Colossians 2:17. And His is an eternal redemption continually before Me, the Blood of the spotless Lamb is forever on the altar in Heaven continually speaking for you in propitiation. For Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, and after the sacrifice of Himself ONCE FOR ALL, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle in Heaven (upon the pattern of which the earthly one was modeled), not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more does the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to Me, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve Me, the living God, in your beautiful assignment of grace? Hebrews 9:11-14. Wherever you gather and remember in the communion meal and lift up your voices in spiritual sacrifice calling out the worthiness of the Lamb, I consecrate that place by My glory. Exodus 29:43. And you can do that even in your own homes and hearts. For you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Me through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5.
I describe to you a life of glory by the life that Jesus lived, “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38. You see here in the life of Jesus My power (anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and power), My goodness (He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil) and My presence (God was with Him). And in you now is the Light of the world as your own, so you too must let your light so shine before men that they may see the goodness in what you do and give GLORY to Me, your Father of Glory, who is in Heaven. But you are members of My Son’s glorious body on earth and are members of His GLORIOUS Church, for Christ is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body, and Christ loves the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her GLORY, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.” Ephesians 5:25-27. He has cleansed each one of you who believe in His Blood, so you are without stain or blemish, and He washes you in water with the Word—and that is your part to wash your mind and body each day with My Words in the Bible, you can read it, speak it, meditate on it, and you can listen to it on audio Bible during the day and night. You can fill your heart and home with GLORY.
And you can walk in that glory all day and rest in it all night. My glory never leaves you for Christ is in all who believe, and He is your glory. And IN CHRIST you too must put aside your old self with its emotional highs and lows, and put on your new self, created anew by Me in Christ, and walk in the glory of My goodness, My presence, and My power, and let that glory pour out and flood the world with the knowledge of My glory as the waters cover the sea! And nations will come to your light. Let Me shine in you. Do the works Jesus did and greater for He is in you to do them with and through you. Step up to glory and cast out demons and heal the sick Jesus’ Name and I will be with you to help you by My goodness, My presence and My power. For I have anointed you with the Holy Spirit and POWER in Christ Jesus your Lord.
Do not put your light under a bushel basket. Get on the Lampstand, the golden Menorah, and shine your light toward Christ.
And if you will note that when My glory filled the temple it would come where there was worship and praise going up to Me, especially when it was done in unity with other believers. Live a life of worship, thanksgiving and praise and you will have the glory come down and fill everywhere you go. Make melody to Me in your heart and never stop. This life is very short, eternity is very long, why don’t you spend the day with Me singing a happy song? I sing joyful songs over you like at a festival, why don’t you join in? Zephaniah 3:17. It will make the glory fall.
I love you. You were made for glory. In the beginning I clothed you in it. Adam and Eve took it off and made the glory leave them and found they were only left with their own nakedness, but Jesus came and clothed you in Himself, the garments of Salvation and the robe of righteousness, which is the mantle of GLORY. It fell on you just as the mantle of Elijah fell on Elisha when he saw him go up and enter the glory, and it fell on Pentecost Sunday and falls on you when you believe in your heart that I raised Christ from the dead and confess Him as Lord.
