Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100:4-5.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Today I want to begin to talk to you about a new level of living. The vast majority of My people are not experiencing days of Heaven on earth. Many are sick, many are lacking in finances, and many are depressed, anxious and fearful. This ought not to be. Those who are IN CHRIST JESUS, that is, those who have been born again from above as a new creation IN CHRIST should be living in the flow of Heaven while still on earth, but they are not. And this grieves Me.

The solution to this is all through My Word, and is hard to miss, but it is so simple but so deep that most, even if they enter it periodically, do not live there as their lifestyle. But today, I want to take you up higher, and no matter how much you think you know this, you can always go higher yet. There is NO limit on Kingdom living even now.

So what is it that I am talking about? Let Me open it to you at My throne of grace. Are you willing to go there with Me now? This is where you are seated in Spirit for I raised you up with Christ and seated you with Him in Heaven. As one who has Jesus as your Lord and great High Priest of your confession, I tell you to draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that you may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:14-16.

What is it like there at the throne of grace? I show you a glimpse in the book of Revelation. My beloved John was in exile on Patmos for preaching My Word but he was not depressed or fearful. He turned his attention to Me and was praying in the Spirit on the shabbat, and He heard behind him a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, and he was instructed to write a scroll describing what he saw and to send it to the churches. He turned and he no longer saw the barren island of Patmos, the nearly deserted place of exile, around him, before Him was the glorious Lord Jesus, walking among seven golden lampstands, clothed in a robe reaching to His feet and girded across His chest with a golden sash. His eyes were like a flame of fire. His voice was like the sound of many waters. His face was like the sun shining in its strength. Revelation 1:9-19. And John’s first reaction? He fell prostrate at the feet of Jesus in worship. Revelation 1:20. And here is a characteristic of worship, the falling down under the weight of the glory in thankful awe.

And after that encounter and the Spirit’s words to the churches, John beheld a door standing open in heaven, and he heard again My voice, like the sound of a trumpet, speaking with him inviting him up higher to My very throne. The heavenly Holy of holies. And immediately he found himself before the throne of grace surrounded by a rainbow and he saw the jewels of My raiment, which are as those of the breastplate of the High Priest, Revelation 4:3, and the vast sea of glass, like crystal and spun gold.

And what was the flow, the sounds, the words being spoken by those around My throne close to Me? Worship. Pure worship flowing from hearts who know Me and understand My pure goodness, presence and power. That is, My Glory lights Heaven and its lamp is the Lamp. And those in Heaven have hearts filled with worship. Hearts honoring the One who honored them so highly as to send His Son to die to bring them there—a magnificent place beyond all you can ask or imagine in beauty, colors, and sounds that you have never heard or seen the equivalent to on earth. And there all is perfect health, perfect joy, perfect righteousness, and perfect peace. And this is what I have prepared for you who love Me, and Heaven contains much more terrain and sights and sounds than John witnessed. It is a very busy and fruitful place.

And what were the words with which you enter into the flow? Words of worship. “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.” Revelation 4:8. And this should not surprise you for when My Son introduced to you a pattern for prayer it began with your entrance to the throne of grace, “Our Father, in Heaven, HOLY be your Name.” Have you ever paused there and worshipped in Spirit and in truth before My throne in Heaven? That is, in faith and in My Word? If so, you would begin by exalting My Names for it is then these covenant promises signed in My Name become real to you and manifest in your life—Yahweh (the One who was and who is and who is to come is the longer version of Yahweh, which in Hebrew is a shortened version of those three tenses of the verb “to be”) your healer, your provider, your Shepherd, your righteousness, your redeemer, your peace, your deliverer, your refuge, your fortress, your everlasting rock, and your Abba, Father. Learn My covenant Names for those are promises to you whereby you partake in that which flows from My divine nature. David worshipped in songs calling upon Me as His own by My Names. And this is the key of David opening the door of Heaven, that no demon can close, to work wonders in your life and in your world.

And what did John hear of the words bringing you into the flow of the throne room next? “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.” Revelation 4:11. What is next in the “Our Father?” “Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” And here you are calling upon the Kingdom of glory and honor and power and My will that creates and sustains all existence. And songs are sung there and music beyond what can be imagined, even the song of Moses and of the Lamb are being sung, “Great and marvelous are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations! Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed.” Revelation 15:3-4. What a glorious song of intercession for the nations upon which to model your own!

And new songs are constantly sung with words of triumph and victory for those believers still on earth and praise to Jesus, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10. I tell you often in My Word to sing to Me a new song! Psalm 33:3; Psalm 40:3; Psalm 96:1; Psalm 98:1; Psalm 144:9; Psalm 149:1; Isaiah 42:10. A song from your heart to Mine. To continually make melody unto Me in your heart. Ephesians 5:19. “Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy. For the word of the LORD is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.” Psalm 33:2-4.

And thanksgiving for Jesus is worship, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” Revelation 5:12. Have you ever worshipped or are you just demanding and upset? You cannot even enter My gates except by thanksgiving, and My courts with joyful songs of praise, and bowing down in worship. The voice of thanksgiving was a falling down prostrate in praise. 2 Chronicles 20:18; Luke 17:15-16; Exodus 4:31. And it brought wonders!

And then John heard worship from every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, saying, “To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.” And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped. Revelation 5:13-14.

If you want Heaven to flow into your life you have to be in the flow to receive. Just as in your daily life you can turn on the shower but if you do not get under it, you will not get wet, the same in true of the flow of Heaven.

To be in the flow of healing, provision, restoration, rejuvenation, prosperity, riches, honor and blessing you have to open your heart and your mouth wide for that, and not in lamentation and woe, but in thanksgiving and praise. You have to get into the flow of worship and get lifted above where Christ is seated at My right hand. If you keep your mind on your pain, your lack, your problem, yourself, your disabled family member, your broken relationship, you are worshipping that and not Me. You are magnifying that and not Me and your problem only looms larger on your horizon. You close your door to the impossible and your faith fails in the mental arena of thoughts from the world, the flesh and the devil.

You have to come up here where you belong who are IN CHRIST. You are in the world but should not be behaving in the manner of the worldly minded who are trapped in darkness. Worship is living in the Spirit and not in the flesh. It is living in the Light. The flesh pulls down to death. It is the only place it is going. The mind set on the flesh is set on death. Your spirit and soul are not going where the flesh is going so stop fellowshipping with your flesh and lift up your eyes to put your attention on Me, which is My Word. The spirit pulls you up and the flesh pulls you down. Worship is putting your mind above and not below and it is the key to answers, wisdom, and miracles.

The answers you are seeking are in the Spirit and not in the flesh. My thoughts can only be known by My Spirit, I am Spirit and My Words are Spirit and life. Praying in the Spirit means your attention is off yourself, that is, your flesh, and is centered on My thoughts which are revealed to you by My Spirit. The spirit transcends the flesh. Things that are impossible to men, that is, in the flesh, are possible with Me, that is, in the Spirit. When you know My Word, you know the truth and the truth will set you free. When you have the answers available you are free from anxiety in any circumstance no matter how challenging it may appear to the flesh.

The devil knows the danger of worship so he will do all he can to distract you from it and to belittle its importance. If he can keep you in the flesh arena, that is, in the mental analytic arena of your physical senses and worldly mindset, he will win, but if you hold yourself in the spirit by refusing to give greater consideration to the contrary circumstances that appear to make My promises humanly absurd by staying in the arena of worship, which is the spiritual arena, he will lose every time and you will have your harvest of My promise pouring in.

And this is not difficult. Worship is pleasant. It is the flow of Heaven, which is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and the more you walk in this flow the easier you will find it is to put down anything that comes against you that is contrary to My Word. You can praise and worship your way out of any problem.

There is only one way to come with confidence to My throne of grace and that is in worship. Copy the flow of Heaven. It is no different for you. You enter My gates with thanksgiving, there is no other way in. Worry and fear will not get you even into the door, not because I am excluding you, but because you have closed the door to the flow yourself. But you behold an open door as you worship, just as John did on the Island of Patmos. He never would have beheld that door if he was looking at the barren circumstances of his exile in despair. No, he welcomed the time with Me to worship in the Spirit. Revelation 1:10.

The easiest way for Me to enter your life and do My work on your behalf is as you worship. It is then you are open to receive. Your pain, sicknesses, worries, financial problems—all get swallowed up in the Glory. Evil cannot remain in the flow of My goodness, presence and power any more than it can enter Heaven and remain there. Worship will open days of Heaven on earth in your life.

And in the flow of worship there comes a oneness between us of honor and mutual respect that results in a sharing of our lives. Fear and worry close the door to our oneness for that shows a lack of true knowledge of who I am and a lack of true faith.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20. And that is the fellowship of worship, a one to one atmosphere of total attention, but you will not hear My voice if you are drowning it out with the voice of your flesh, the devil, and the world. Do not beg, plead and cry for what I have already freely given you in Christ, just come to My throne of grace and receive it, and the only way to enter and obtain all you need is worship. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give constant thanks this is My Will for you IN CHRIST JESUS for this is worship and worship puts you in the waterfall of living water flowing from My throne.

Many people pray when they have a problem but they do not praise. And praising is the key to igniting your faith. Praising will take you from captivity in darkness into joyful singing in the light. And it is there that is the place of answers and blessings. Joy gives strength, sadness and fear gives weakness.

Only one of the ten lepers that was cleansed by My Son returned to worship. He came back thanking with a mega voice and threw himself on his face at the feet of My Son to worship in grateful praise. Luke 17:15-16. He was the only one that came to thank My Son. And he got something much greater than the other nine from opening the flow of Heaven into his life. He was not only cleansed, that is, the disease departed, but he was made whole—that is, all he lost to the disease in body parts, relationships, and finances was restored and made whole. Worship makes the impossible possible. It makes you whole in every area of your life.

Rise up in worship, shake off the dust, and watch your chains fall off.

If instead of going out of your problem and pain with joy and being led forth with peace, you grumble, whine, and fear I will not perform what I promised so you beg and test Me, you will not be able to get the result flowing in that you desire. The word I use in Hebrew for the grumbling of the Israelites against Me in the desert is “luwn (לוּן)” (Exodus 15:24; Exodus 16:2, Exodus 16:7; Exodus 17:3; Numbers 14:2, 27,29,36, etc.) which in Hebrew has another meaning also, it means to spend the night (Genesis 19:2; Genesis 24:54; Genesis 28:11, etc.) or abide in a place. You will see it translated both ways in different contexts so in English you do not realize it is the same word. But do you see? The more you grumble, the deeper you go into the darkness and will spend your time there and it will be night, and how deep will the darkness be.

This happened under the Covenant I made with Moses and the people when I brought them out of Egypt as well. I promised them a land flowing with milk and honey wherein I would give them cities and large houses filled with good things that they did not build, vineyards they did not plant, and wells they did not dig all for free and that I would be with them to conquer the inhabitants as they approached so that the houses would be well maintained until I gave them over to My people. But they refused to enter the Promised Land and lost all that which they could have had in a flow from Heaven to give them days of Heaven on earth. Why? I tell you in Psalm 95: “O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it, and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness, when your fathers tested Me, they tried Me, though they had seen My work. For forty years I loathed that generation, and said they are a people who err in their heart, and they do not know My ways. Therefore I swore in My anger, truly they shall not enter into My rest.” Psalm 95:1-11. The psalmist tells you the way to come to My throne—singing and shouting with joy and giving praise and thanksgiving, bowing in worship for I am your God who made you and sustains you, My hands form and can reform you, but then I go on to tell you that My people did not keep that up, they heard My voice but they hardened their hearts in grumbling and complaining, fearing and worrying, weeping and whining, speaking against My goodness and accusing Me of freeing them from Egypt to kill them upon entrance to the Promised Land, in other words saying My Word was not true. They put Me to the test ten times and continually doubted I would provide for them even though I gave them water out of rocks, manna from Heaven, and flew in quail to give them meat. Do not be like that. I tell you that they tested Me and limited Me. Psalm 78:41. How often they disobeyed Me in the wilderness and grieved Me in the desert! Again and again they tested Me and limited Me, they did not remember My power—they forgot that I had redeemed them from the adversary. Psalm 78:40-42. They were never thankful and never acknowledged what I had done for them in bringing them out of slavery, in fact, they kept saying they wanted to return to Egypt because it was better there! And they had been crying out to Me there to save them from the affliction of slavery. They rejected worship. I tried to talk to them all at Mt. Sinai, but they told Moses to talk with Me and tell them later what I said. And I had appealed to them, “You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself. Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My special treasure among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” Exodus 19:4-6.

A kingdom of priests and a holy nation—Jesus has now made you that by His blood, which is My desire fulfilled, but priests worship. Yes, on the Island of Patmos, John wrote in the Spirit, “Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.” Revelation 1:4-6. And Peter by the Spirit tells you more, “And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:4-5. And there is more, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10. You were born again to worship as My royal priesthood brought by the blood of My Son.

Does this take you back to the new song to Jesus of the redeemed in Heaven? “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10. In worship comes the grace to reign for you walk in triumph with Christ. 2 Corinthians 2:14; Romans 5:17. And how did I lead the Israelites out of the slavery of Egypt? With joyful shouts and singing. Psalm 105:43.

“For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.” Psalm 27:5-6. Worship, the key of David.

I love you. And that is why I tell you to worship, so you can reign with Me in life through Christ Jesus. And that is our first life lesson in this series on Worship: “Why worship?” And now you know why. It is all through My Word but Satan has tried to make it a well-kept secret because it is so contrary to human reasoning. How could singing praise solve all your problems? Because it is fighting in the Spirit and not in the flesh. It is the good fight of faith and it is a joyful flow.

“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24.
