From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17.
And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:6-8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Jesus brought the Kingdom to the earth. He called out, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17. He wanted people to renew their minds to My ways so that My Will could be done in the domain of the earth as it was in the domain of the Kingdom of Heaven. And for those who would come to Him in faith He released the flow of the Kingdom into the earth.
EVERY EVIL, HIDEOUS, DESTRUCTIVE, OPPRESSIVE THING OR CONDITION BROUGHT TO JESUS ENDED IN A MIRACLE. Lepers were cleansed, withered limbs were restored, the lame walked and leaped, the deaf heard, the mute spoke, the blind received sight, lack became abundance, water became wine, sick bodies were made sound and whole, missing limbs were restored, stooped backs were straightened, broken hearts healed, sins were forgiven, the dead were raised to life, and storms stopped. And that is the Kingdom come to earth. Heaven and earth have kissed, the domain of the Kingdom had flowed into the earth.
All because one man filled with the Spirit, born free of sin, come down from the Kingdom to earth, had the power from on High to release to those who would connect with Him by faith. And it is still the same but with MUCH MORE for each believer now who has received Him in faith, He has released you from your sins by His blood and made you into a royal priesthood unto Me, kings and priests, born again freed from sin and with the Holy Spirit in you, to bring that flow to the earth. He made you ambassadors of reconciliation filled with the power from on High, the body of Christ on earth.
“And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:6-8.
The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8.
And today’s Life Lesson on the Kingdom of Heaven brings a whole series of lessons. And what is that? Considering the miracles that took place through the hands and Words of Jesus when He was walking as one like you in His sojourn upon the earth. For these are the results of the Kingdom invading the earth. And this is called: The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand – Miracles, signs and wonders—the first miracle of Jesus – the Wedding Feast at Cana.”
“Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” Matthew 6:10.
If you are currently in a trial, torment, pain, sickness, or a host of other conditions or circumstances that make your life a taste of hell on earth, it is time you came to Jesus in faith. And if you do, how will it end? IN A MIRACLE. And even more, for He will teach you, empower you, and lead you into being more than a conqueror, ready to put down anything contrary to My Word. Guaranteed if you will do as I tell you. But if you draw back, then you put yourself out in the extremes of the continuum where you cut yourself out of the center flow.
But if you will come and draw close in faith, like the woman with the hemorrhage, you will have your miracle, and not only that you will be made whole, complete and entire, ready for every good work. He will make you fishers of men.
The word translated “miracles” in the New Testament is the Greek word “dunamis,” which simply means “power.” And you recall that one of the grace gifts of the Holy Spirit is the effecting of miracles. The word translated “effecting,” is the Greek word “enérgēma,” which means energizings, workings, operations, focusing on the results of My energy flowing into you to cause works of POWER.
A miracle is doing things out of the natural, normal course whereby the processes of nature are rearranged or changed in one of the following five ways: (1) Form; (2) Substance; (3) Time; (4) Multiplication; or (5) by the ministry (intervention) of the holy angels.
I have set up all by creation so that it is subject to miracles, that is, subject to change. Miracles bring order out of chaos, beauty out of ashes, and work all things together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purpose. And My purpose is the one I have for each of you, a life of perfect shalom (peace and wholeness in every area of your life) and not evil, to give you a glorious future and a hope. And My desire is that all be saved, know the truth, and live days of Heaven now and forever. And miracles are to give you that, they are My power released from the Kingdom bringing My Will to pass upon the earth.
So let us begin with the first miracle of Jesus, which brought Heaven to the earth in a miracle of a change of substance and an acceleration of time to supply a need of the moment with abundance of provision. If you have a lack, a shortage, or a condition that needs a change of substance and an acceleration of time you will find answers and much instruction here.
This miracle is found in the gospel according to John. He was there with Jesus and Mary. So let us consider what the Spirit reveals to you as important to know in this miracle of Jesus. Remember you who are born again are to do the works He did and greater. How? When you ask in His Name, He does it through you as His body on earth. It is not by your power that miracles take place, it is by your releasing My power as the body of Christ into the earth by your dominion authority that they take place. And the more you open to My divine life in you by remaining in My Word and My Word remaining in you, the more fruit of miracles you will produce.
And so it begins: “On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee,” stop there for a moment, My apostle John calls the miracles he records “signs,” signs of deeper revelations of truth contained in the words and circumstances surrounding the physical miracle. So you note that on the third day there is a wedding feast. My prophet Hosea wrote, “Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has wounded, but He will bind and bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him. So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, like the latter rain (מַלְקוֹשׁ) (malqosh: latter rain, spring rain) and the early rain (יוֹרֶה) (yoreh: the early rain, late fall rain) watering the earth.” Hosea 6:1-3. I have torn and wounded Jesus, but I healed and bandaged you. And revive you after two days and on the third day I will raise you up. To Me a thousand years are as a day and a day as a thousand years. Jesus is not slow about His return to catch you up to My presence.
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:8-9.
The second day since I raised Jesus from the dead, judging by My standard of a thousand years, is now reaching its close and there will be a great revival, i.e., “He will revive us after two days,” with the outpouring of My Spirit as the latter rain, the spring rain right before harvest, the endtime harvest of souls. But at the dawn of the third day I will raise you up to the great marriage feast of the Lamb to be always in My presence (“He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him.”). Revelation 19:7-9. And there will be abundant wine, the wine of My love, at that feast, on the heavenly mountain of Zion. Hebrews 12:22-24.
“The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; a banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine. And on this mountain He will swallow up the veil which is over all peoples, even the veil which is stretched over all nations.” Isaiah 25:6-7.
“Draw me after you and let us run together! The king has brought me into His chambers. We will rejoice in you and be glad; we will extol your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.” Song of Songs 1:4.
And let us go on with the first miracle of Jesus and find more revelation and treasure.
“On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there, and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.” John 2:1-2. I let you know very specifically that Mary was there with Jesus and His disciples. She understood who Jesus was better than anyone there and she knew that He only said My Words and did My works. She had pondered and treasured every moment of her life with Jesus since He was first conceived in her womb. She knew His mission from the Scriptures, for Joseph had been given the Isaiah prophecy as applicable to Mary during her pregnancy, and she knew My power and presence. I had told her from when the angel Gabriel first announced her amazing assignment, “Nothing is impossible with God.” And she knew that.
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month. For nothing will be impossible with God.” And Mary said, “Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:35-38. All things according to My Word.
Let us read on, “When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:3-5.
Mary understood the counsel of the psalms, “Cast all your cares upon the LORD because He cares for you.” And she knew what the Holy Spirit would later speak through Paul, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7. She had learned to do this since Joseph first thought of divorcing her quietly when she was with child. And she had learned throughout the childhood of Jesus, I had taken care of all her needs in everything, from His birth, to the flight to Egypt, to raising Him at Nazareth, to finding Him in the temple and now she was with Him to have His first miracle done at her request to open up all the coming miracles. She saw a need and she cast the care on Him and worried no further. She had decided from Me that the His hour was here. As she had given her permission to Me inaugurate the opening of My sending the Messiah to earth, I now gave her the honor of releasing Him into the inauguration of His ministry of miracles upon the earth.
And what did she tell the servants to do in the need of the moment? Just what she had done when she heard My Word to her, “Behold the handmaid of the LORD, let it be done to me according to your Word. “And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.” Luke 1:45. She simply turned to the waiters and said, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:5. And she said it with authority, for the servants did as she said.
“Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. Jesus said to the waiters, “Fill the waterpots with water.” So they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now and take it to the headwaiter.” So they took it to him.” John 2:6-8.
This seemed to the waiters a strange instruction but they did it. They knew it was wine and not water to wash that the guest’s were thirsting for. Water out of these jars was really not the appropriate drink for a wedding feast but as Mary had instructed them, they went ahead and did what Jesus said to them. And they had to work diligently for it required about 180 gallons of water, which is not a small amount. When I involve you in a miracle you will not be passive waiting for Me to do things without involving you. I will commission you to some action by faith. Even if it is singing praise in your imprisonment when you cannot otherwise move about. But it will involve you. Like David with his slingshot and five smooth stones, but with My help, he only needed one to move a giant out of the way.
Read My Word and hear from My Spirit. If you are willing and obey you will have the best of the land.
The waiters in true obedience drew out water and went to give it to the headwaiter. This could have been a disaster for them but it was not. The water became wine, 180 gallons of the finest wine anyone at that feast had ever had the pleasure to taste. “When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom, and said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.” John 2:9-10. A miracle had taken place quite simply before the eyes of the waiters, the disciples, and Mary, and no one else was even aware of the origin of the wine. Many times miracles of healing, of grace, of provision, of forgiveness, of answers, of protection, and of new birth, take place quietly and without fanfare, so that many people miss the miraculous in their life and just term it luck or a coincidence, but it is not.
“This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.” John 2:11. This manifested His glory—My goodness, My presence, and My power—the Kingdom of Heaven had invaded a wedding feast at Cana in Galilee on the third day and given them an overwhelming supply of the best.
“Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 28:1-2.
And what had taken place in this miracle of abundant provision? A change of substance and an acceleration of time. In a change of substance, I add or take out molecules, changing the basic structure and character of the physical matter. Water is made up of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, wine has twelve hydrogen atoms, three oxygen atoms and fourteen atoms of carbon. Carbon is very plentiful throughout the earth and the universe. You need it for physical life and it is in many of the compounds that you need each day for survival. It is also plentiful in the air as carbon dioxide. Do you think I cannot add carbon, more hydrogen, and more oxygen to water and make it something new? And I did not need to make more carbon, hydrogen or oxygen to have an abundance. It was already made, there is nothing new under the sun, Ecclesiastes 1:9, but I can recombine and rearrange so that things are changed into something new. Romans 4:17. I set it up that way. With what you have now, that I put in the earth and throughout the universe, anything and everything you will ever need or desire can be made, restored, renewed and changed by the effecting of miracles.
Also you will note that to have the finest wine, wine has to age. But here the moment I changed the water to wine time accelerated forward and made the finest wine. “The LORD of hosts will prepare a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; a banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, And refined, aged wine.” Isaiah 25:6.
Another miracle that requires changing the substance is seen in when I raised Christ from the dead and gave Him a glorified body. And I will give the gift of the effecting of miracles into your mortal body on the Last Day. And it will be a change in substance built up from your current DNA. And I tell you how I did that and I want you to know that power working in you too: “so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power (dunamis) toward us who believe in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 1:18-20.
And then there are substances that are not of earth but come to you from Heaven. An example is the heavenly bread of the manna. This was a substance never known before and never seen since. And this was a foreshadowing of the change of the substance of bread and wine to the body and blood of My Son. And My royal priesthood has the gift of effecting miracles to do this in remembrance of My Son.
What is it that you lack at the moment or need changed? Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and when you ask in His Name, He will do it and so will I.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” John 14:12-15.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” John 16:23-24.
I speak peace to you, take that peace. I speak love to you, receive My love. Understand this, you are forgiven, you are healed, you are redeemed, you are surrounded by the shield of My good will, you are under an open heaven and showers of blessings, your youth is renewed. These are real and they are yours but it is up to you whether you will participate in what I have sent to you in an unending everlasting flow. You can get in it or step out of it. Where you walk in the continuum is up to you. It all depends on whether you accept or reject My Word. And My Word became flesh.
I love you. Jesus brought the Kingdom to earth. Do you want to participate? Do not hesitate,, procrastinate, or vegetate or you will waste your years in fruitless tears. You can grumble and complain and remain where you are or you can jump into the flow and grow into the beautiful strong triumphant hero, conqueror, and champion that I made you to be.
