“Now may God give you of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, and an abundance of grain and new wine.” Genesis 27:28.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The manna fell on the dew. When the dew fell on the camp at night, the manna would fall with it. Numbers 11:9. “Now may God give you of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, and an abundance of grain and new wine.” Genesis 27:28. The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass. Proverbs 19:12. “For thus the LORD has told me, “I will look from My dwelling place quietly like dazzling heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” Isaiah 18:4. “I will heal their apostasy, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from them. I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like the lily, and he will take root like the cedars of Lebanon.” Hosea 14:5.
Dew speaks to you of My comfort, My compassion, My gentleness, and restoration. Waterfalls and rivers speak to you of grace. And oceans speak to you of My love. And all waterfalls and rivers flow into the ocean. Rivers of grace flow into the ocean of love. Sweet sailing into love on the living water of My Spirit. And all is made fresh and new. And showers of rain are showers of blessing.
My Word is the best place to look when you are faced with things you do not want to see. You are authorized to ignore (not give them anxious attention to take over your thoughts) the things contrary to My Word and to instead put your attention on My Word alone. My Word is a place of rest in the midst of any storm. And we will see that in the Book of Acts in Paul’s encounter with a storm upon the sea.
You can trust in Me. I give you My Name and in My Name you find that I am your healer, your provider, your peace, your righteousness, your redeemer, your sanctifier, your refuge, your fortress, your shepherd, and your savior. All My Names—which are also known as My magnificent and precious promises, are of healing, provision, protection, deliverance, joy, peace, and redemption. They are saving Names. In Me there is salvation, only in Me. If you need saving in any situation you will only find it in Me. I am the Most High. “Who has announced this from of old? Who has long since declared it? Is it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none except Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:21-22.
My Word to Jesus was, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light to the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6. He is the Light of the world. I gave Him to everyone who will receive Him.
My magnificent promises make you a partaker of My divine nature. I put My Name on you just as I did on the place I chose to dwell under the old covenant but now you are My dwelling place in the Spirit and the whole family of believers in Heaven and on earth is called by My Name.
It is not by complaining and blaming that things are made right; for the anger of man does not achieve My righteousness. James 1:20. It is by love that sin is covered and you are made righteous in Christ. My love made Christ sin for you so that in Him you became righteous with My own righteousness. Love covers with the blood of the Lamb.
In these last days, things that were hidden will come out into the light and people will see what is good and what is evil. Then those who are unwilling to open to the light will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’ But nothing will hide you from the light of truth. It will be seen by all. And I will be vindicated and every man who denied and came against Me proved a liar. All who have called good evil and evil good and have attributed evil to Me, they will see because error will be brought out. But there are still those who will be deceived. They love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.
You who believe must be very sure, very grounded, in My Word. Otherwise you cannot win and reign in life. No Word, no authority.
I uphold all things by My Word of power and that Word is Christ Jesus. Hebrews 1:3. He is the power and mercy of God. “But to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:24. The Word of faith is near you, in your mouth and in your heart, and it is contained in the gospel, “for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” Romans 1:16.
I am holy and My Word is pure. In holiness and purity there is great power. You are sanctified by My Word, which is truth. Truth is more powerful than any lie. Without My Word, you won’t win. With it, you will take all.
The Kingdom can come to touch earth and reorder things by doing My Will on earth. “Your Kingdom come; Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” And there you see what is required to bring My Kingdom to the earth, doing My Will. That is the only way to have days of Heaven on the earth. And how do you know My Will? By My Word, written and as delivered in your spirit by My Spirit. But My Will always lines up in agreement with My written Word.
Whatever else you do, the most important thing you do is know My Word and this is seeking My Kingdom first—for My Word is My Will and My Will being done is the sign of the Kingdom touching the earth.
The most important thing you can do for yourself and others is to hear and obey My Word. Deuteronomy 28:1-14. Matthew 6:33. Then all else is added to you besides—every magnificent and precious promise.
Mary understood the power of My Word, in her My Word became flesh to dwell among you. And what did she say after My Word was delivered to her by My angel Gabriel? “Behold, the hand maid of the Lord; let it be done to me according to your Word.” Luke 1:38. And that is what you must say as well as you read and hear My promises in My Word to receive them.
Then she went to visit Elizabeth and she had a confirmation of My Word to her. “When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. And she cried out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And how has it happened to me, that the mother of my Lord would come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she who believed because there will be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.” Luke 1:41-45. When you believe, trust, declare, and act on My Word, you are blessed with its fulfillment in your life.
And later she would tell the servants at the wedding feast in Cana, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:5. She understood the power in My Word. Miracle working, mountain moving, saving power. And Mary was no forgetful hearer, she pondered and treasured all My Words to her in her heart. The implanted Word that has the power to save your soul. And My Word made her strong. Strong to stand at the foot of the cross. Strong to be at the upper room on Pentecost. She loved My Word and My Word became her son. And she shares that Word with all of you. And what does she tell you? “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
The more you receive and walk in My Word the more holy, pure, and powerful you will be. And you will tread upon the devil and all the forces of evil. And the more of Heaven you will see in your daily life.
In Jesus, My Word made flesh, I have given you an unlimited source of supply. All My magnificent promises. as many as they be, are “YES” to you in Him. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom for He has opened it to you, His little flock. My Word is sweetness and light for it is filled with all that is good. “O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing.” Psalm 34:8-10.
“How blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.” Psalm 112:1-3. So you see here what it means to “fear the LORD,” it means you greatly delight in obeying My Words.
My apostle Paul was totally immersed in My Word. He preached it, prayed it, meditated on it, studied it, read it, and acted on it. He asked Timothy as first importance, “When you come bring the cloak which I left at Troas with Carpus, and the books, especially the parchments.” 2 Timothy 4:13. He was totally confident that whatever I told him to do, I would perform. Even in the midst in what looked like certain death in a terrible storm on the sea he had no fear. I had told him he would witness in Rome before Caesar so he had no fear that he would not get there. “For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.’ Therefore, keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that it will turn out exactly as I have been told. But we must run aground on a certain island.” Acts 27:23-26. And we will talk about that miracle in our next Life Lesson.
I love you. Bring Heaven to earth by walking in My Will, which is My Word. And your assignment? The same as I always give those who want to walk in victory, “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9.
