You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16.
And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. Micah 4:1.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
In today’s world, people are more interested in what good things they are getting from Me than what good things they are giving out. But what they do not understand is that in giving you receive, and more besides. The more you output, the more I input. The more light you shine the more light I shine into you. The more you sow into the Kingdom, the more you receive from the Kingdom.
Jesus is the Light of the world and no follower of His will ever walk in darkness but will have the Light of life. You have the Light of life in you, let it shine. Do not hinder it.
If you recall the victory I won with Gideon for the people of Israel in the time of the rule by the judges after Joshua and all who knew him had died. My Word was not being followed and the people were not serving Me but idols, even though they still remembered Me and that I was their God when they were in trouble and distress. Then they called on Me, and actually like Gideon, questioned My faithfulness to them since I was not conquering their enemies as I had done when I led them out of Egypt and when Joshua led them into the Promised Land. But they had not kept covenant and had opened the door to the devil and let the curse enter their land. But when they called, I answered, and told them great and mighty things they could not know. So when Gideon cried out, I did not see a weak sinner, I saw the heart of a champion. And I came and told him just that. I was with him and with Me he became what My Word told him he was—a hero with the strength of an army for I was with him with My heavenly host.
But he had to output to get the input. And he did follow My directions. He tore down the altar of Baal and built an altar to Me and sacrifice a burnt offering. He rallied the people to battle. But I only let him choose 300 men to go against a myriad of the enemy. And the battle strategy I gave had to do with lighting a lamp. He told the 300 men, “Arise, for the LORD has given the camp of Midian into your hands.” And he divided the 300 men into three companies, and he put trumpets and empty pitchers into the hands of all of them, with lit torches inside the pitchers that were earthen vessels. He then went with his group of one hundred men and told the other two groups to do just as he did when he did it. They came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, when they had just posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and smashed the pitchers that were in their hands. When the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers, they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing, and cried, “A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!” Each stood in his place around the camp; and all the enemy army ran, crying out as they fled. When they blew 300 trumpets, I set the sword of one against another even throughout the whole enemy army; and the enemies fled as fast as they could flee. And Gideon summoned the men of Israel from Naphtali and Asher and all Manasseh, and they pursued Midian until they had thoroughly routed them from Israel. And the Midianite armies that had come to take their crops every year never returned during the time of Gideon. Judges 7:15-23.
Do you see? An earthen vessel with a light inside that could not shine forth until the thick clay pot was broken. David, after sinning, sang, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17. The stony, proud closed heart that is alive to sin and dead to Me, where in the parable of the sower and the seed of My imperishable Word could not even penetrate, must be broken up into fallow ground like the pot of clay that totally blocked the light until the men of Gideon sounded the trumpet unto Me that alerted Me to come down and fight with them and they broke that pot to show the light to the world. A broken, humble, contrite heart I will not spurn. Jesus comes to dwell there, the mystery of Christ in you, your hope of GLORY. My glory lights the Kingdom of Heaven and it can light your heart as well and illumine all the darkness around you. The devil flees that light as do his followers in the world, but that light attracts and gives direction, like a lighthouse beam, to those who are drawn to light.
A clean heart does not block the light and we are back to the beatitudes again, “Blessed are the clean in heart, for they shall see God.” But not only see Me but show Me to the world by living the life of good deeds I prepared for them in advance in Christ Jesus so they can see Me in that person.
What am I talking about? A transparent heart. That is the way your heart is to Me. I probe the mind and the heart. All things are laid bare and open to Me to whom you must account. Hebrews 4:13. But that is also the way that the world can see My light in you. Wash the windows of your heart.
Jesus was transparent. What do I mean? He told you, “In seeing Me you see the Father.” By His words and works you could see right through to Me—to My goodness, to My desires to heal, forgive, love, and bless you. And once I made this so transparent to Peter, James and John on the mountain of the transfiguration that the door was opened before them right into eternity and the living God. Jesus is the door. And He has set before you an open door and through that door you see Me. You access Me through Jesus by the Holy Spirit He pours out upon believers from Me.
Jesus opened His door to you and now He knocks at your door so you will open to Him. If you hear His voice and open the door to your life to Him, He will come in to dine with you and you with Him. Fellowship. And you become a door to Jesus for others to look through all the way to Me, the Father of lights. Arise and shine.
By lighting the lamp of your spirit from the Light of the world, set your lamp on the golden lampstand as one of the six cups on the branches coming from the center shaft on which the servant lamp is shining and the servant lamp is lit first and lights the lamps on its branches, which all have their wicks trimmed by the High Priest morning and evening to point to the center servant lamp. So that all the light shines back on the center servant lamp, which of course is an early type and shadow of Jesus who came to served and not be served who is the Light of the world from whom you all, as His followers, receive Light as one with Him. And from the seven lamps of the lampstand, light is given to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify Me, your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16. Good works come into the light to make clear their deeds are done in Me. “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” John 3:18-21.
What are those good works that people will see in you that will make them “glorify your Father who is in heaven”? Matthew 5:14-16. Things that make people’s lives better than before they met you. Works that give healing, freedom, protection, provision, compassion, comfort, edification, exhortation, and revelation. If you recall, whenever Jesus healed, the crowd glorified Me. Works that create and inspire. Works that cause them to see a bright future filled with hope. Works that are so supernatural no other could have done them but Me. Like the healing of the man crippled from birth by Peter and John at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple.
I give you talents to develop and invest in others. Do not be like the misled servant who dug a hole and put the talent I gave him in it. No light shone from his earthen vessel. Only fear and a witness that gave Me a hard and harsh reputation.
Now I want you to notice that you are not just a light to the world but a whole city of light on a mountain top that cannot be hidden. This is huge. This is taking up territory with the prosperity of a city of stature. It is a Kingdom establishment. It is more than just you. It is the hundredfold.
Now it will come about that in the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; and all the nations and all the peoples will stream to it. Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1.
I want to give you who will output for My Kingdom what I input for My glory the hundredfold return. And that people will see in the works that are made and funded by it. And it will make them give glory to Me, your Father, for what I have done for you and through you for the good of all. It is time for My church to amaze the world with the limitless possibilities contained in My Word if you know how to read and divide it by My Spirit.
“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:10-15.
Most do not understand the hundredfold return. The mix it up with the one hundred times reward for walking away from things for the sake of the gospel. That is not sowing but leaving things that are trying to stop you from taking Jesus as your Lord and living My Word. I am very clear when I am adding, multiplying or folding. Folding is when you double and then keep doubling each double.
My Son spoke of the one hundred times more blessing and the hundredfold return. But people think folding is multiplying but it is not. There is a HUGE difference, it is as big as the known universe and beyond.
Let Me show you, after the rich young ruler did not follow Jesus at His invitation, Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!” And Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mark 10:28-31. You sowed nothing into the Kingdom but left things for the Kingdom, I give you a hundred times more.
But now let Me show you the hundredfold. It is first mentioned with Abraham’s son Isaac. A famine had come on the land where Isaac was residing and he thought he would go down to Egypt where they had food. But I told him not to leave where in was in Gerar and to plant his seed there, in a time of drought mind you, but he knew Me well enough to obey. “Now Isaac sowed in that land and reaped (matsa: to attain to, find) in the same year a hundredfold. And the LORD blessed him, and the man became rich (gadal: to grow up, become great), and continued to grow (halak: to go, come, walk) richer (gadal) until he became very wealthy (gadal meod) (meod: muchness, force, abundance). for he had possessions of flocks [m]and herds and a great household, so that the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:12-14. Isaac’s immense flocks and herds and his riches became so great that he was filling the land and Abimelech, the Philistine king of Gerar, said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are too powerful for us.” And Isaac departed from there and camped in the valley of Gerar, and settled there. Genesis 26:16-17. But even there he kept increasing.
How did I make the seed grow so supernaturally in a time of drought? Underground wells that Abraham had previously opened but the Philistines had closed. I reopened them for Isaac. But the Philistines in their greed and jealously were very busy closing them, but when I am with you who can be against you? No one. So when Isaac moved at their request having become more powerful than they, I gave him more wells and more wells. From there he went up to Beersheba. And I appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.” Genesis 26:24. And Isaac built an altar there and called upon My Name, “LORD.” He attributed all to Me and thanked Me. And at that time he and his household were the only believers in the earth. He was the first church.
Abimelek came to Isaac and asked him to make a treaty with him even though he had sent them away. Why? Abimelek explained, “We saw clearly that the LORD was with you; so we said, ‘There ought to be a sworn agreement between us’—between us and you. Isaac did and then he sent them on their way, and they went away peacefully. That day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well they had dug. They said, “We’ve found water!” He called it Shibah, and to this day the name of the town has been Beersheba. Genesis 26:19-32.
This was not a hundred times but a hundred fold. It was so phenomenal that Abimelek made a treaty with Isaac as if he were an independent nation. He had grown that large where he filled the land.
Jesus spoke of the hundredfold as well as the hundred times blessing. In His first parable He talked about sowing My Word into people’s hearts, and He likened the hearts to four different kinds of soil, but only one kind of soil produces a harvest. The good rich soft soil of a born again heart. “And the one on whom seed was sown on the good soil, this is the man who hears the word and understands it; who indeed bears fruit and brings forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.” Matthew 13:23. “And those are the ones on whom seed was sown on the good soil; and they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” Mark 4:20.
I taught the hundredfold creation of wealth for My covenant confirmation later to Moses and the Israelites whom I redeemed from slavery in Egypt to take to the promised land and there they were to be a light to the nations, drawing all to Me in the amazing riches and wisdom I demonstrated through them as My covenant people.
And I counseled them, “Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.” Deuteronomy 8:6-9. And then I warned them not to forget Me there as I gave them fine houses, and increased their herds and flocks, their silver and their gold, and say to themselves, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” “BUT REMEMBER THE LORD YOUR GOD FOR IT IS HE WHO IS GIVING YOU THE POWER TO MAKE WEALTH that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:17-18. I give you the power, the ability, the creativity, to produce wealth to confirm My covenant. To show the world the richness of the blessing that comes from covenant connection with Me. A light to the nations of My goodness that funds Covenant projects, which are Kingdom projects on earth.
Let Me explain. When you multiply one times one hundred, you get a hundred. When you fold one paper a hundred times, if you could, the thickness of the paper would be equal to 93 billion light-years. No one has been able to fold paper that many times. Why? It follows in folds the amounts shown with one penny. It is doubling the double. Which I did with the crops in the Promised Land before every Jubilee year. It had to last for four years.
If you took a single penny and doubled it every day, by day 30, you would have $5,368,709.12. and that is the thirty-fold return Jesus spoke of. However, it’s important to note that it’s all about the power of doubling – if you asked the same question, but changed the doubling time to just 27 days, you would only have $671,088.64. But if you changed the doubling time to 54 days (which is not even sixtyfold) you would have $90,072,992,547,409 which is over 90 trillion. Only Isaac and Solomon have had riches like this. No one today does. But you could if you understand the hundredfold and how it works. It comes from sowing into My Kingdom with the works of your hands and not by walking away from things for Me. It is using the talents, the manna I give you, and investing it back into the Kingdom so as to prosper the work of your hands with the gifts and talents and power I supply. It is not just toilsome labor for a day’s wage. It is inventions and works of your hands and creative ideas that better lives and bring back a hundredfold to you for you to keep reinvesting into more creative works and building projects for the Kingdom to save souls for eternity.
Looking back at folding the paper, Here’s how the thickness of the paper would grow due to exponential growth. The average paper thickness in 1/10th of a millimeter (0.0039 inches.) When you perfectly fold the paper in half, you will double its thickness. Folding the paper in half a third time will get you about the thickness of a nail. Seven folds will be about the thickness of a notebook of 128 pages. 10 folds and the paper will be about the width of a hand. 23 folds will get you to one kilometer—3,280 feet. 30 folds will get you to space. Your paper will be now 100 kilometers high. 42 folds will get you to the Moon. 51 takes you to the Sun. 81 folds and your paper will be 127,786 light-years, almost as thick as the Andromeda Galaxy, estimated at 141,000 light-years across. Finally, at 103 folds, you will get outside of the observable Universe, which is estimated at 93 billion light-years in diameters.
The hundredfold return comes from sowing into the Kingdom. Isaac sowed seed at My direction and at that time he was the only person in Covenant with Me from the covenant I made with Abraham. “Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold. He went on his journeys from the Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, to the place of the altar which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of the LORD. Now Lot, who went with Abram, also had flocks and herds and tents. And the land could not sustain them while dwelling together, for their possessions were so great that they were not able to remain together.” Genesis 13:2-6. And this was before I changed his name to Abraham. He was exponentially blessed. He had 318 men he had trained for battle, born in his house, and he defeated five kings and their armies and got back all the people, including Lot, and all the goods they had taken captive. And I blessed him and he tithed to Melchizedek. I made Abraham heir of the world. That is a hundredfold return.
But in Jesus you have Heaven and earth. That is bigger than the universe. It is the hundredfold.
You see the difference in the one hundred times and the one hundredfold in the early church community. They did not just walk out of property and join the church community. “And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.” Acts 4:32-35.They sold and sowed. And then they began a life of innovative and creative works. And I prospered the works of their hands, so they had all sufficiency and abundance for every good work. As you sow you shall grow for I will supply for all your needs ACCORDING TO MY RICHES IN GLORY IN CHRIST JESUS. There is no limit. I give the Holy Spirit without measure.
I love you. If I have given you the plans for a Kingdom project, begin looking for the manna I have given you to create a work of your hands that will return a hundredfold. Just one sale the first day, two the next, four the next, eight the next, sixteen the next, and by day thirty it will be over $5 million. And the universe is not even the limit. It will be more than the tower of Babel ever could have been. It can reach to Heaven. It is all about souls. It is all about confirming the Covenant that I give you the power to make wealth by the work of your hands and the dreams in your heart. Let your Light shine until it becomes a city of lights on a mountaintop to which the whole world is streaming, yes, think big and it will draw in the whole world. Call to Me, I will tell you great and mighty things you could not know.
