Do not let lovingkindness and truth leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The tablet of your heart. What is that? On your heart you are writing the story of your life. The question is what are you writing? It is your choice what you are recounting and relating.
The sin of Judah was written down with an iron stylus; with a diamond point it was engraved upon the tablet of their hearts. Jeremiah 17:1. Who wrote it? They did, not Me. They had forsaken Me in whom they had believed for the depraved worship of idols and the exaltation of human strength while denying their maker and sustainer by walking in evil rather than love.
I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts, Isaiah 65:1-3.but it does not have to be that way. I have given you My thoughts in My Words, Words from My Spirit who knows My deepest thoughts, and I put them in your mouth and in your heart. And My thoughts are higher than yours, they are beautiful towards you. You can be writing a beautiful and blessed story of your life.
And I am very specific with what you should be writing on the tablet of your heart, lovingkindness and truth, Proverbs 3:3, and My teachings and laws. Proverbs 7:3. Keep My Words and treasure my commandments within you that you may live, and My teaching as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers and write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 7:1-3.
How do you write on the tablet of your heart? I tell you in a psalm of the sons of Korah, a song over the lilies, a wisdom psalm of the beloved, “My heart is moving (is stirring) with a good Word; I am saying the deeds of the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready scribe (saphar).” Psalm 45:1. And the Hebrew word that means to recount or relate in the verb form is “saphar” which also can be used as a noun (a gerund), which is translated “scribe.” It is a denominative verb from the noun “sepher.” And sepher means book. You are writing with your tongue. Death and life are in the hand of your tongue. Proverbs 18:21. You write on the tablet of your heart by what you are saying and what you are saying comes from the thoughts you are dwelling upon in your mind and putting in your heart. It is the heart and mouth connection that can be exercised in the spirit of faith or in the spirit of fear. And this will determine the pathway of your life.
Do you remember when Jesus poured out My Holy Spirit upon the believers on the day that fulfilled Pentecost what happened? The disciples all spoke in tongues and they were speaking of My mighty deeds. Acts 2:11. And what happened when the Spirit fell on Cornelius and his household as they heard Peter preach the good news of Jesus? They spoke in tongues exalting Me. Acts 10:46.
And do you know how I wrote the Bible? No prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no true prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from Me. 2 Peter 1:20-21. All Scripture is breathed by Me, that is, by My Holy Spirit moving and stirring up the hearts of godly men and women so that they speak out under the anointing mysteries revealed by Me. 2 Timothy 3:16. Things you otherwise could not know. Jeremiah 33:3.
I wrote My commandments on two tablets of stone with My own finger. Jesus wrote with His finger on the stony ground where the Pharisees tried to use those commandments to stone a woman to death and they all left one by one. And Jesus told you that it was by My finger that He cast out demons.
But now I do not need a tablet of stone for My prophecy spoken by the Spirit through Ezekiel has been fulfilled. I stirred up his heart to reveal to you that there was coming a day when I would sprinkle clean water on you, and you would be clean; I would cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols, and then I would give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I would remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. A heart that is good soil for seed and not stony ground where no seed can plant but gets carried off by Satan. And once I gave you that cleansed heart of flesh, I put My Spirit within you and enabled you to walk in My statutes, careful to observe My ordinances. Ezekiel 26:25-27.
And then I showed you how to write a good story for your life in your own heart. You are a letter of Christ, written not with ink but with My Spirit, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of your heart of flesh. How does the Messiah, the anointed One, write on your hearts? With My Spirit.
How does the Holy Spirit write on your heart? The same way He wrote all the Scriptures. By coming upon the prophets and stirring up their hearts to speak forth My Words. But now, under the New Covenant, My Spirit is not just upon certain anointed people but is in and on you who believe. For under My New Covenant, ALL can know Me from the least to the greatest. Moses prayed that all My people would be prophets, that I would put My Spirit upon them. Numbers 11:29. And I have answered his prayer. You can all prophesy. Paul told the Corinthians he wished that all spoke in tongues but even more that they would prophesy. 1 Corinthians 14:5.
Be the prophet of your own life by writing on the tablet of your heart with My Spirit. And I tell you how to do that.
In My Word, I liken your tongue to a rudder on a ship. A ship, though very large and driven by strong winds, is directed by a very small rudder wherever the inclination of the pilot desires. James 3:4-5. Like a rudder, your tongue is a small member of your body, but it is turning the pathway of your life in the direction of your destination by what it is writing on your heart. And that direction can be good or bad. It can end in a safe harbor of a lovely prosperous place filled with precious cargo or it can crash and destroy the entire ship in shipwreck or direct it to a desolate island far from your true goal.
Who is the man who desires life and loves length of days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:12-14; Proverbs 4:24-27.
But you need help to turn the helm of your life and I have sent you a helper to come in and pull the helm with you. And it is the same way I inspired the Words of the prophets which they spoke to pull the helm with My people to turn them back from folly to the way they should go.
The story of your life is a journey written in your heart, it is a future and a hope. Ultimately you are awaiting the transformation from your mortal earthly body to your heavenly, immortal body in hope for you do not see it yet. Romans 8:25. In like manner, the Spirit also takes hold with you at your side (sunantilambanomai (συναντιλαμβάνομαι) to help your weakness in turning the helm of your life. For you do not know how to pray as you should for do not see the future yet but I do, so the Spirit Himself makes petition that hits the mark (hits the bull’s eye) for you with inexpressible groanings; and I, who search the heart, know what the thoughts of the Spirit are, because the Spirit makes perfect petition for the godly ones according My will. Romans 8:26-27.
This is praying in the Spirit, your prayer language of tongues, to pray out My Will as each day. And with My Spirit pulling at your side, you are able to turn the helm of your life in the way you should go. And you do not know to what directions to write on the tablet of your heart to navigate your perfect life unless My Spirit tells you of the things to come
And result of having My Spirit write the directions on your heart is that I cause all things to work together for good for you who love Me and are called according to My purpose. Write the vision down on your tablet and then read it and keep reading it and get others to read it and run with it to the sweet odors of the anointing. I always cause you to triumph and spread that sweet fragrance of the anointing everywhere.
And do you know what that anointing is? I tell you in the same Psalm, Psalm 45, where I tell you how to write on the tablet of your heart inspired by My Spirit. It is the anointing of the oil of joy with which I anointed Christ by My Spirit and in Him you are anointed with the oil of joy as well.
Control your mind and control the story of your life. Keep your tongue from deceit, which is anything that does not line up with My Word. Eve found that out. Her story was stolen and the devil wrote a new story with her tongue for her life. He rewrote My plans for her on the tablet of her heart and stole her identity.
Judas Iscariot did the same. He was writing a beautiful story of his life on the tablet of his heart by becoming one of the twelve close disciples and friends of Jesus, but he let Satan enter into his heart, John 13:27, and let him rewrite the story of his life on the tablet of his heart. How did he do that? He captured the thoughts of Judas’ heart to substitute his own and took the pen of his tongue so Judas himself rewrote the story on the tablet of his heart. And he wrote a story of suicide and destruction.
You must control the thoughts you think. You must filter them and not allow anything in that is contrary to My Word and My promises. Do not think thoughts of malice and depression, instead think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things, and I, the God of peace, will be with you. Keep yourself in My peace, peace of mind.
I love you. My thoughts are higher than your thoughts, but I share them with you by My Spirit, in both the written Word and the Word He speaks in your heart in Spiritual language. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit by thoughts and words stout against Mine. Do not quench Him by idle words and quarrels. Let Him stir up your heart so your tongue can write the story on the tablet of your heart that I planned for you before the foundation of the world. It will be divine.
