Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Colossians 3:1-2.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Another lie of the devil that is quoted often is that if you are heavenly minded you are no earthly good. The exact opposite of this is true. If you are heavenly minded, like Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Debra, Samuel, David, Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah, Daniel, and, above all, Jesus, you can govern wisely, walk in the truth, discern deception, and bring miraculous victories for your nation.
And even if you do not govern a nation, you can reign in life when you are heavenly minded. You can raise fruitful children who have great peace, prosper in your work, and live in peace in your heart. In Jesus are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge and they are there for you to draw out.
Heavenly minded people have the Holy Spirit in them to teach them all things, guide them to all truth, lead them in the proper way to go, tell them of the things to come, and share My thoughts with them. And they can also operate in the gifts of the Spirit, such as a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, gifts of healings, miracles and mighty deeds, extraordinary faith, and discernment of spirits, the praying in tongues and the interpretation of tongues.
And the fruit of the Spirit is theirs such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Heavenly minded people are people you love to be around, especially when a problem arises or healing is needed.
Seek the Kingdom of Heaven first and all things needed will be added unto you. It is not only a good idea to be heavenly minded, I command you to be so.

That is why I had My people but tassels with a blue cord in them on the corners of their garments—to remind them to be heavenly minded. Numbers 15:37-41.
Zerubbabel was the governor of Judah and he had a tremendous work to do that had been ordered and funded by Cyrus, the king of Persia, and as governor this building project was up to him to see through. But he and the people had stopped and slacked off and I sent My prophets Haggai and Zachariah to him. And what did Zachariah tell him as the Word I had for him? “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the LORD of Hosts. ‘What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!’” Zachariah 4:6-7. He was to complete the project by the wisdom imparted to him by My Spirit. And he was to do it by grace.
And My prophet Haggai told him the same:
On the twenty-first of the seventh month, the Word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet saying, “Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people saying, ‘Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison? But now take courage, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD, ‘take courage also, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you people of the land take courage,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘As for the promise which I made you when you came out of Egypt, My Spirit is abiding in your midst; do not fear!’ For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:1-9.
You see again that it is My Holy Spirit that is abiding in their midst to direct them. And I refer to Myself under My Covenant Promise Name of the LORD of Hosts. Commander in Chief of the Angelic Armies.
It is good to be heavenly minded and receive inside information about the enemy. Remember Elisha? He would advise the king of Israel of all the battle strategies of the king of Aram who was warring against Israel so that the king of Israel avoided the ambushes of the Aramean army and had the victory. Now the heart of the king of Aram was enraged over this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you tell me which of us is for the king of Israel?” One of his servants said, “No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.” 2 Kings 6:8-12.
The king of Aram then decided to capture Elisha so he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. When Elisha’s attendant saw an army with horses and chariots circling the city he cried out to Elisha, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” But, Elisha, being Heavenly minded had no fear at all. He told his attendant, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And I opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. I had sent the Heavenly Host to protect Elisha and thus that whole city. And after that the marauding bands of Arameans did not come again into the land of Israel. 2 Kings 6: 13-23. It pays to have a heavenly minded person in your city.
And the same was true of Daniel. He was a man of prayer and deep commitment to Me. He had many visions of Heaven and of things to come. He was more heavenly minded than anyone else, and it worked miracles of revelation and deliverance for him, from interpreting dreams of the king, reading handwriting on a wall, and to staying all night in a den of hungry lions without even being scratched. And I tell you how that was done. I sent the Heavenly Host to hold the lions’ mouths shut all the time that Daniel was in there.
And Daniel held high and respected offices in the government of the enemy empires. Why? His excellent spirit. When he knew and interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream without anyone even telling him what the king had dreamed, the king answered Daniel and said, “Surely your God is a God of gods and a Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to reveal this mystery.” Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon.
Then under the king and empire that took over after Nebuchadnezzar, Darius, Daniel began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and satraps because he possessed an extraordinary spirit, and the king planned to appoint him over the entire kingdom. Then the commissioners and satraps began trying to find a ground of accusation against Daniel in regard to government affairs; but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him. And this is how all heavenly minded people should be recognizable. Then these men said, “We will not find any ground of accusation against this Daniel unless we find it against him with regard to the law of his God.” Daniel 6:3-5. And it is still the same today, other politicians who are godless will go after those who have confessed Jesus as Lord and try to discredit them in regard to My commandments which are contrary to the immoral and murderous doctrines of the unbelievers saying that My followers are foolish and intolerant. But that is not the case. My followers are wise and filled with true love. The others are captives of the devil.
And I advise those who are heavenly minded not to worry ahead of time about what they are to say to government officials or other people the world holds in authority and high esteem. Why? Because My Spirit dwelling in you will advise you in what to say and will give you wisdom and knowledge that no one can refute or contradict.
When you are brought before synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not worry about how to defend yourselves or what to say. For at that time the Holy Spirit will teach you what you should say.” Luke 12:11-12.
And it was My Spirit on Joseph that impressed Pharaoh so much that he knew that Joseph was the one he needed to advise him and get him through seven years of famine. He needed a godly man that he could trust to handle the food and wealth of Egypt and he found it in Joseph.
Then Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is a divine spirit?” So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has informed you of all this, there is no one so discerning and wise as you are. You shall be over my house, and according to your command all my people shall do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you.” Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” Genesis 41:38-41.
Today in many nations ungodly men and woman have seized the power and try to destroy the godly taking power, but it was not meant to be so. I am your judge, your lawgiver, and your king. It is I who establish and save you and your nation. Happy the nation who has chosen Me to be their God. Like Jehoshaphat and Judah, they will be well protected and receive direction from Me and then have peace on every side. 2 Chronicles 20:29-30.
And employers should seek those who are heavenly minded for I put My skill in them, as I did in Joseph as a slave running his master’s fields and livestock, so all his master’s property was blessed. He prospered because the blessing was on Joseph.
And I did the same for Moses when he was constructing the Tabernacle.
Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship. And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are skillful I have put skill, that they may make all that I have commanded you. Exodus 33:1-6.
Put your mind above and see things as I do and you will always know the right thing to do. Never forget that I am present as your Helper. With Me at your side you will always win and with My Holy Spirit in you and on you, you will be wiser than all who confront you. And anywhere you go will prosper because the blessing will go to work to make a garden of Eden there where you are.
And heavenly minded people, like Jesus, serve others and consider other’s interests as important as their own. Even your employer.
I love you. Reading this, I ask you a question, would others know from your words and your life that you are heavenly minded? If not, it is time to repent and renew your mind to who you are in Christ and become heavenly minded, which just means receiving communication from Me and My Spirit for even though you are in the world, you are not of the world, so you should not be acting like the world. You are a new creation. Get filled with the Holy Spirit by singing praise and praying in tongues until you hear from Heaven in interpretation of your own tongues.
I will fight for you, but you must let things go to win the battle over sin, you must never enter into sin yourself. Love yet be clever as the snake that is in others. Let others know the truth but do not go into their mode or you will be like they are and that is no way to live. So follow Me and repent, know the One I sent and just learn how to give from Me who died for you, with love trust in your Father above to send good things your way as you pray each day.
Sin is at your door, but you can be its master. Just shut the door and the way you do that is you never let the thought in. Tell it NO and it must go to never enter in. Give the devil no place and let the Holy Spirit fill your space so that there is no room for any other spirit. Hand all over to Me and live according to My Word
