This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
There is only one way to have joy in this life and the next, only one way that you will have healing, that you won’t have fear, that you won’t be disappointed and unhappy, where you will have confidence, where depression won’t be an issue, and you will not be discouraged, there is really only one way for all of this and even more, and it is a relationship with Me. For without Me you can do nothing. Without being attached to Me, you are a dry and withered branch, but if you are in Me and we are as close as that—for a branch and a vine are one, sharing the same life, then your life will be one of joy unspeakable filled with glory. You will be able to get the answers you are seeking and help and healing at all times. You can rest in Me, no anxiety, no agitation, just the peace of knowing My goodness and drawing that into your life by resting in Me.
Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude. Colossians 2:7-8.
You may never have lived a life of joy but I am telling you how you can. Live Eternal Life starting now. You can never have joy without Me. You belong in Me and came forth from Me. In My presence is fullness of joy, the delights at My right hand forever. You may have intervals of joy in this life, but there is only one way you will have continuous joy and confidence with no fear of illness or lack, and that is a close relationship with Me.
This is what life is all about, a relationship with Me. You will not have joy in this life or eternity without knowing Me—to converse with Me at any time, coming with confidence to My throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help at the time you need it. Not just knowing about Me, but knowing Me and you really cannot know Me without knowing Jesus Christ, the one I sent. For in seeing Him, you see Me. And your relationship with Me comes through your relationship with Him.
And that is the definition of eternal life, to know Me the one true God and the one whom I sent as My gift to you, Jesus Christ. John 17:3.
As Jesus told the busy Martha that only one thing is necessary and all else will flow from that, and that one thing is relationship, where you want to spend time with Me. And it all began with the first man and woman in that abundant garden of delight where we met and walked together every day in the cool breezy time of the day. We talked as we walked together.
But when they turned to another “god” in their lives, they hid from Me at the time we usually walked together and no longer walked with Me. And I was grieved, deeply grieved. But then I found Enoch and he walked with Me and we talked and the more we walked and talked the more like Me he became the and we had sweet fellowship and one day he was so used to walking with Me at every moment of his day that he just walked over into My house.
Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:24.
And then there was no one who wanted to walk with Me until Noah. And Noah walked with Me and found favor with Me. He was blameless in his times and by his fellowship with Me, together we saved the human race.
I called Abraham to walk with Me and go the place I showed him and he accepted the invitation and walked out the rest of his life with Me. I called him a prophet and I called him My friend and I showed him many great and mighty things he could not know.
And how did he walk with Me? By faith. And I call him your father in the faith. He believed Me and I credited it to him as righteousness. Righteousness by faith in Me who justifies the ungodly. I taught him the gospel ahead of them and showed him the day of Jesus and he rejoiced at so great a salvation.
I desire for you to be in fellowship with Me. I want us to walk together through life and on into eternity. I want to be your God and you to be My child, My friend, and the one I have espoused to Me forever. I want to share My visions, thoughts, dreams, and mighty revelations of My Word with you. I want to make you My prophet in your nation and to the nations.
I should not be a surprise to you when you pass from this life to the next, that is, to eternity, I should be the Person you know and trust the best. I should be the one you are the most familiar with of all.
I made you, I formed you, I love you, I have plans for you and I invite you to spend your life in My house. If you keep My Word, if you treasure it, I come with My Son and we make our abode in you. John 14:23. And My house is a place of abundance in which flows the river of delight.
How do you begin this relationship with Me?
As I tell you to do in My Word. You draw close to Me and I draw close to you. You call upon Me and I tell you great and mighty things you could not know. You seek Me and you find Me. You ask and you receive.
How do you draw close to Me when you cannot see Me? By My Word. You get to know Me and know Me well in My Word. I am My Word and My Word became flesh and dwelt among you to draw you to Me. He took all your sins away from you and took the punishment due them and rose without them. I justified you in Him and gave you My righteousness in Him. I made Him who knew no sin be sin for you so that you could have My righteousness imputed to you.
And He is now in the center of My throne with Me, deep in My bosom, and He has drawn you back in with Him so that we are One in Him. And I have raised Him from the dead as your great good Shepherd to lead you to My house where you will dwell with Me and Him now and forever.
“For the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:17.
I wipe every tear from your eyes. I give you joy. I anoint you with the same anointing with which My Spirit anointed Him, the oil of joy. Fullness of joy is in My presence and the presence of the Anointed—Jesus. All in the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
I reward those who seek Me. I am your very great reward—your healer, helper, provider, protector, friend, lover, your wisdom, your righteousness, your strength, your refuge, your deliverer, your fortress, your stronghold, your rock, but best of all, I am God your Father and I can do anything. You have nothing to fear. You can enter My rest with Me and let us together walk out the journey of your life.
Never walk alone, walk with Me, lean on Me, and even let Me carry you as a Shepherd carries the lambs in His bosom.
I have given you eternal life and that life is in My Son. And I have given you My Son and He leads you home to Me. And the Spirit, the Water, and the Blood, these three, testify to this and we will be seeing how in the lessons to follow.
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the dark valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and lovingkindness follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:1-6.
So start today. I mean literally, take a walk with Me each day and let us talk. Start with songs of praise and enter into worship. You could start with the “Our Father” and think of all My covenant names when you say, “hallowed be your Name,” and apply each one to yourself—healer, provider, helper, peace, shepherd, and I could go on. Thank Me for giving you those Names as yours and as My promises to you of all they contain. Then pray for My Will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven and pray this over all the nations. Plead the Blood. And then ask Me questions, whatever is on your mind, whatever you need answers for, advice on, or revelation on. And record or write down what I tell you as we talk and walk. You can record your answers on your phone or bring along a tablet and stop and write. And speak, sing, and prophecy in tongues. As you speak in tongues ask Me for the interpretation as we walk along as well. I will give it to you.
And all the day as you go to your work, run your errands, and even as you talk with others, always include Me in your mind and in your heart. Before you answer quickly check with Me. Be asking Me to open your eyes to see the wonders all about and the people I am directing to you to share a Word with them that I have for them. See all as gifts to get closer to Me.
Start in little ways, in little things—even trusting Me in finding parking spaces or making it on time to a meeting when you had delays you did not expect and factor into your time. If you are faithful in little things to walk with Me, I will promote you to greater. Like David from the hillsides watching his father’s little flock of sheep to shepherding My people Israel as their king. He never stopped talking with, and walking with, and singing to and with Me. He always will be the sweet psalmist of Israel.
I am inviting you on a journey with Me, your Maker and the Most High, I am offering you a relationship with the One who made all and is in all and is all in all. I am El Shaddai. I AM, I WAS AND I AM TO COME. I am offering you a relationship of wonder. Will you accept to walk through time to eternity with Me? You are in the world but not of the world if you join with Me through Jesus.
Let Me show you the way. Let Me show you your dream, let Me give you the plan, let Me lead you today to your promised land. Don’t have any fear, I am always here. At your side within and without I have compassed you about, making your life beautiful and new. Singing My songs with you, singing My songs in you.
I love you. Come to Me and walk with Me, I am gentle and humble of heart and your souls will find rest for My yoke is easy and My burden light. Love is the way. And I am love. Come walk in the Light of My Love for that is the Light of Life and that is eternal life.
