Do not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 3:25-26.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Walking with Me is living eternal life even now. Eternal life is knowing Me, the only true God and the one I sent, Jesus Christ. And if you know Me, you know who I am by My Word. And where does this all take you? Not into fear again but into confidence in Me.
Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. Hebrews 10: 35-36.
You should not put your trust in princes, in man in whom there is no redemption, but instead you should put your confidence in the One in whom you are secure. The One who will never leave you or forsake you. The one that cares about you. The One whom you will spend eternity with. The One who was willing to die for you so you could live eternally in the Kingdom of Glory. And that is Me. No one else is there for you like I am. No one else loves you and cares for you like I do. And no one else is able to take care of you as I can. No one else created you and made plans for you before you were even born. Only Me.
You need to know and believe in two things: in the great love I have for you and that I am able to do all things. To live a life filled with the peace beyond understanding you must know that I love you and can and will do whatever good you need done. Then you can have blessed assurance that all things will work out for your good. Romans 8:28. You can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:6; Psalm 118:6-7.
Confidence in Me must be based on what I have said to you. It must be based on things I have actually told you. Otherwise you have nothing to base your confidence on. Faith is confidence in My Word. If I tell you I will do something and you comply with what I tell you that you must do to obtain that Word, you can be assured it will come to pass.
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15.
Do not cast away your confidence for it will be richly rewarded. Hebrews 10:35.
By faith and patience you will obtain the promises. So do not become weary of well-doing for in due time you will reap the reward. You will not be disappointed.
Compliance guarantees the result. Without compliance there can be no reliance. If you are willing and obey you shall eat the good of the land.
Confidence in Me at all times is born out of having a personal relationship with Me. It means you know Me as your faithful friend, your forever Father, your lover, your spouse, your healer, your provider, and your God. It means that you have reached out to Me and opened your heart to Me. It means we are walking together in love.
It only comes through prayer and the meditation of My Word. It comes through treasuring and doing My Word. When you keep My Word, I make My home with and in you. I reveal Myself to you when you keep My Word. And I reveal Myself to you through Jesus.
A depressed fearful person can become a joyful peaceful person. How? By renewing your mind in My Word. Change what you are thinking on by taking every thought captive that is not confident assurance that I am your provider, your healer, your protector, and that I reward those who seek Me with good things. I will make everything come out all right. You will not fail or not be provided for.
If in any trial you knew I would come through and make it work out good for you if you keep My Word, would you panic and get depressed? You would not. You would have peace in the storm. And I will show up and do all I have promised.
Never falter and give up your confidence in Me. It will have great reward. You must endure and cling to Me in hard times. Trials will come but My Son overcame the world and when you live in and through Him so have you.
When you know the one thing necessary, do not look around at everything else and get yourself confused about the one thing necessary.
There is one thing in any and every situation in life that you need to know. Do not focus on anything else. And the one thing required is to walk in love. It is really our relationship, for I am love that is the only thing that matters because your relationship with Me determines the outcome of every situation in your life.
Let nothing divide you from Me—the simplicity that is in Christ. Being a believer in Me and in Jesus is not complicated. Jesus told His disciples at the Last Supper when they felt fearful when He told them He would not be there with them much longer, “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:1-3.
Jesus came forth out of My bosom, John 1:18, out of the depths of who I AM and revealed Me to you. And once He died and cleansed you of all sin and I raised Him with all sin gone, I raised you with Him and sat you with Him and in Him in Heaven. And I tell you that He is the Lamb in the center of My throne. He pulled you back in with Him into the very center of My being, through the rainbow encircling Me into the very center of My throne.
I am not a God of confusion but of peace. If you are confused it is because you are not focused on Me. I tell you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep your mind above where you are seated with Him and with Me. We are family and I know you and I want you to know Me. Simple, not complicated, just come with confidence to My throne of grace and receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Come freely, My Son opened the way to you behind the veil. A new and living way, do not draw back.
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17.
Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things you could not know. Jeremiah 33:3. This is not a “maybe” this is a promise in My Word. You call, I answer. You draw close to Me, I draw close to you. A relationship. Come to Me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Not stress, REST. Mix faith with My promises so you can enter My rest.
If you are agitated, confused, and worried you are considering things that you should not be looking at. Keep your eyes on My Word. It will strengthen you and give you power to face any problem without being destroyed. Like the wise man who built his house on a solid foundation of rock.
My Word will anchor you in hope. You will not get shipwrecked against the rocks. You are safe in the shelter of My Word. There is no occasion to be confused or troubled when you stay there. Perfect peace have those whose minds are stayed on Me.
Trust in Me with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways be mindful of Me and I will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5. In every situation what you should be seeking is My Word on the matter. Focus on that and not all the possible things that could go wrong or all possible choices. There is only one choice each time that is right for you in My plan for your life. Pray first and seek My Word. Seek My direction. And have confidence I will give it to you. I will. Seek and you shall find. What is unclear about that? And that is My Word so you can trust it.
Do not winnow in every wind and scatter in every direction. My children are led by My Spirit. And He will take you to the one thing necessary in each situation.
And the one thing necessary is to keep My Word, which all comes down to thinking, talking and acting in love. And perfect love casts out all fear.
No matter how dark the night or rough the ocean of your life, do not throw away your confidence in Me and in your victory in Christ Jesus. Endurance will bring the promise. Patience is not giving up until you have the result I promise, such as healing, provision, and every good and perfect gift.
Do not cast away your confidence, for if you do you will lose your joy. And My joy is your strength. I have given you My Word and when you abide in My Word, I share My joy with you and your joy will be full. John 15:11.
Have confidence that I love you and that I will never leave you or forsake you. Have confidence that I have your best interests in mind. Come with confidence to My throne to receive mercy and grace to help just when you need it. Unshakeable confidence in Me is your key to victory.
If you really believe My Word you should have great confidence in Me—confidence in the darkest storms and trials—unshakeable confidence that you will come out blessed, protected, and in better shape than when the trial began. You should fear nothing—you can rely on Me.
If you find yourself going into panic or despondency, thinking everything is over for you, you must get severe with yourself and not allow that. You are driving yourself into despair and you need to turn the steering wheel and drive yourself to higher realms where there is joy and peace. You are at the wheel so it is up to you and I have given you the Holy Spirit to pull the helm with you but you must NEVER speak stout against Me. That is not a relationship of agreement and love, but of distrust and disrespect.
And the steering wheel of your life is your tongue, which speaks from the abundance of your heart. What you fill your heart with determines the outcome of every situation in your life.
Encourage yourself with My Word when things look hopelessly lost. My Word is your hope. And hope does not disappoint. Do not grow slack in speaking it and hearing it for it brings great reward.
I gave you My peace, so you who are believers do have peace, but I tell you that you also have a part to play in receiving and maintaining that peace. Just as I gave Adam the garden but he had to cultivate and guard it. I tell you not to let your heart be troubled or afraid but to rest secure in My peace. If I tell you not to let your heart be troubled or afraid it means that you can do it. When I give you a command I give you the power to do it. My Words are Words of power. My Word sustains the universe and holds everything together. And notice I do not tell you to “try” not to be troubled or afraid, I tell you not to let yourself be.
David wrote that when he began to fear, even then he would trust. How can you do that? The same way he did. He knew Me and My ways. He knew that in every battle, danger, or challenge he had ever faced I had brought him through and delivered him, and not only delivered him but had prospered him and made him great. He knew My promises. He knew My covenant. He knew My love and mercy. He knew I cared for him. He knew I would never leave or forsake him. He knew Me as his Shepherd and as an ever present help in time of trouble.
And he did not let himself forget My benefits or hold them as cheap. He would sing “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and bless His Holy Name, bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” He did not let himself fall into the trap of complaining, anxiety, and pride. He stayed thankful and so stayed faithful.
He kept My Word in his heart and before his eyes. He set Me ever before him and with Me at his right hand he was not disturbed at all, no matter what came against him.
He believed in My goodness, My love, My mercy, and My care for him. He knew that I was his light and salvation and that he need not fear anyone or anything for nothing is impossible with Me and I am more powerful than all. He walked with Me and I walked with Him. I helped him and was with him wherever he went. And I do the same for whoever invites Me into their life and the extent you honor and love Me determines how much I can do for your benefit in your life.
Confidence gives you peace and blessed assurance. Confidence has to do with trust in Me. And in it is your hope that gives you confidence and it is your faith that gives you hope. And there is joy in believing for it gives you confidence that everything will turn out for your good. You know that no matter what it looks like at the moment you will make it through to the finish line and you will receive the reward. And how do you know that? The same way I told Moses, the same way I told Joshua, the same way I told Gideon when they questioned Me of how they could have the victory over impossible looking odds—I simply told them that I would go with them. And that is the same thing My Son told the apostles when He told them to go into all the world and preach the good news of the Kingdom—He would be with them always until the end of the age (and then you will be forever with Me).
I am with you. I will never fail you or forsake you. Just as I was with Moses, so I am with you. In fact, I am much closer to you for you have the advantage of having My Holy Spirit within you and not only “on you.” Jesus had not yet come as one of you and died for your sins at that time, but now He has. And if you have received Him, My Holy Spirit is within your born again living spirit. You are never alone. You have an advocate within you. You have a helper at your side. You have a provider, healer, counselor, and, above all, you have a good Father who delights in doing good to you!
I am your Father. I am your friend. I am your spouse and lover. And I am your Almighty God. Nothing is too hard for Me and nothing is impossible for those who believe.
Never panic or give up. Turn the steering wheel from your crash course by prophesying My Word over your life. No matter how you feel at the moment do not feed your emotions with fear-filled words, instead speak out in a loud voice quoting from My Word, speaking of that My plans for you are peace and prosperity, not disaster and woe, that I give you a future filled with hope. That when you delight in Me, I give you your heart’s desires. That I make all things work together for good for those who love Me and are called according to My purposes. That I never allow you to be tried beyond your strength. That you are strong in Me and the power of My might. That the devil has to flee at the Name of Jesus. That I always cause you to triumph. That I heal all your ills and diseases and pardon all your sins. That if you confess your sins, I will wash them all way in the Blood of My Son and make you righteous in My sight with My very own righteousness.
Cast all your cares on Me because I care for you. I will turn any weapons formed against back on your foes. I will not let you be lost. I hold you in My hand and there is no snatching out of My hand.
When trials come, and they will for this world is still dominated by Satan until his time is up, do not slip into despair and fear. Above all do not get angry at Me. Know that I am there for you and all My wonderful promises to you find their “yes” in Jesus. Cling to Him, He is your life—eternal life. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, who is My Word, as you would a lamp in a dark place until the morning star rises in your heart and perfect day dawns.
The path of the just gets brighter and brighter until it reaches perfect day. Do not let the light in your lamp go out. Keep the love light burning by feeding it with My Word.
I love you. Never give up until you have the result I promise. Be confident and unafraid. Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid. I am with you and I am mighty to save.
