To those who have received the same precious faith as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 2 Peter 1:1-4.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Many of you look at your lives in a negative manner, that is, you judge yourselves harshly by not seeing the success or goodness in your life that you see in others’ lives around you, in historical accounts of the lives of those who lived before you, or in the Bible. You see the years swiftly passing by and you feel you have done nothing for Me of the caliber you wanted to do. You feel nothing you ever did found success but rather rejection. Somehow, you reason, you failed Me and missed it all. Like the Israelites that wandered in the desert and never made it into the promised land.

Stop it now. I never told you to judge your life by what others do. In fact, I call that covetousness and that is in the ten commandments.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife or his male servant or his female servant or his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” Exodus 20:17.

I told you that your business is not to look at others but to follow Me and keep your eyes on Jesus, who is My Word. I told you to attach to Him as a branch to the vine and pull all you need out of Him.

But now let Me tell you what the real problem is here. It is not your life, what is past is gone and we are looking at now, but many of you think you had unfruitful lives but in My eyes they were very fruitful in what you faced and the challenges you had. And no one’s life is as perfect as it looks on the surface to outsiders.

But the real problem is in your mind and it is a sight problem. It is how you are seeing your life. Others may describe their lives as blessed and wonderful and you are awed by that, but you could see your life that way too. Especially if through the years you have loved Me and been trying to please Me but somehow the years went by without anything successful in the world’s eyes. But I do not see as the world sees, I see your heart.

There are three things wrong here when you are judging your life as wasted and full of mistakes by what you see in others:

  1. You are not looking at Me with love and gratitude for your salvation and all I have done for you in My Son but only at your own performance. If salvation is based on your performance no one would be saved. You were born of the corrupted seed of Adam and have to be born again of the imperishable seed of My Word which is only made possible by the blood of My Son atoning for your sin and taking your just punishment for the eternal life you lost in Adam. For man it is impossible but with Me all things are possible.
  2. You are coveting another’s life as if they have more than you and you are worried and anxious about it. Here you are involved in disobedient and sinful behavior and yet it is all based on your wanting to do great works for Me. I tell you quite clearly not to covet your neighbor’s goods and not to worry and be anxious about anything but to cast your care on Me with thanksgiving and rejoice in that I have taken care of it. And you are forgiven already.
  3. You are failing to rejoice in all the good things you have. You have as much and more than the one you are coveting. YOU HAVE THE SAME GOD, YOU HAVE THE SAME WORD, YOU HAVE THE SAME PRECIOUS FAITH, YOU HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT IN YOU, YOU HAVE THE SAME SAVIOR, AND  YOU HAVE THE SAME NAME ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME, JESUS..

Be grateful and do something with all that. You have just as many if not more opportunities than the one you are thinking did better than you. You see and meet people every day, everywhere you go there are people who need what you have.

It is all how you see things. You can see your life as filled with good things, amazing adventures, blessings, and as days of Heaven on earth or you can see it as tedious and boring filled with bad things and missed opportunities, stupid people who slow you down and no one you can relate to. You can make your life hell on earth or heaven on earth. And if your life is not where it should be, you can make it that way. Put the blessing to work and start appreciating others and serving them with love as unto Me.

Because you did not serve the LORD your God with joy and a glad heart, for the abundance of all things; therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the LORD will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in the lack of all things; and the destroyer will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you. Deuteronomy 28:47-48.

Isaiah complained that no one was taking his prophecies to heart and changing their lives by them, that he had uselessly spent his strength for so many years to no avail to stop the people from continuing in sin and being taken captive by Babylon. Jeremiah expressed similar regrets, even going so far as regretting being born. But both Isaiah and Jeremiah were great in My eyes and their reward was with Me. I have very richly rewarded both.

And My Son quoted Isaiah more than any other prophet, even reading His mission from the great Isaiah scroll. That was honor where honor was due.

Jeremiah is the prophet that foretold the New Covenant whereby your sins and offenses I would remember no more and all would know Me from the least to the greatest.

And yet both of them were dishonored and killed by their fellow countrymen.

But the early church relied on those two prophets so prove that Jesus was the Messiah from Scriptures. They were New Testament prophets living in the Old Testament times. And it is still the same today when My people of the Old Covenant embrace the new, they see Jesus in Isaiah’s prophecies and Jeremiah’s prophecies.

And when Elijah had just worked one of the most amazing signs of My presence in the history of men on Mt. Carmel and brought revival to Israel, when Jezebel threatened him he ran in fear and asked Me to end his life. He felt he had worked so zealously for Me and it had all ended as ashes in his mouth. But that was not the case at all. I had to correct all that nonsense and send him back to his assignment but this time I gave him a wonderful helper, Elisha. And Elisha had no identity problems.

So you can view your life as beautiful if you have lived it loving Me and wanting to serve Me even if it has not turned out as successful as other ministers you hear or benefit from their writings and teachings which are from Me. All believers are one body in Christ and each member has a different assignment but yours is no less important than another’s.

And even if you just got born again and wasted many years living a worldly life, I tell you that the angels are rejoicing over you more than over ninety-nine righteous people who did not need to repent. And I and Jesus are rejoicing as He carries you in His arms out of danger to My marvelous light and to the abundance of My house.

Now straighten up, stop your personal pity party over your life, and listen to Me, your Father. “Listen to Me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek the LORD, look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug.” Isaiah 51:1.

Seek Me, look to Me, you are in My image and according to My likeness, you came from within Me. I formed you from Myself, you are spirit and soul like Me and you have a body in which you are enabled to live upon the earth which became subject to physical aging and death after Adam’s sin for the wages of sin is death.

But you will have a glorious, immortal body at the second coming of Jesus. The first coming removed your sins and gave you a new heart and a new spirit, alive to Me and dead to sin. My Son gave you eternal life. His second coming will put the last enemy, which is death, under His feet and you will have the redemption of you body to match your redeemed spirit as well. Look forward to that.

See yourself as blessed. The Israelites that I redeemed out of Egypt were most blessed. I lifted an enslaved nation out of another nation and took them as My own. I took them up as on eagles’ wings and rescued them from darkness to light. I gave them riches, healing, manna, water from the rock, quail that flew in, and I promised them a land flowing with milk and honey with beautiful cities and homes they did not build and vineyards and fruit trees and fields of wheat and other grains that they did not plant and wells they did not dig as all theirs for the taking. But the problem was they NEVER saw themselves as blessed. They never stopped complaining about their wretched lives in the desert and yet they refused to go in the promised land out of fear. They saw themselves like grasshoppers.

But I did not. I saw them blessed and I saw them champions.

When Balak hired Balaam to curse the Israelites, he stood on the mountain overlooking their encampment around the tabernacle. And he stated that his eyes saw what I saw and he spoke what I said, and what did he see? A blessed, favored people who were more than conquerors. He could do nothing but bless them for he was unable to curse what I had blessed.

But down in the camp upon which he gazed they were not acting as a blessed people, they were complaining, arguing, rebelling, and grumbling against Moses and Me. They never realized how blessed they were and so they never made use of the great blessing that was upon them. They limited Me. They hardened their hearts and never entered My rest.

When you start this pity thing over your “wasted” life that is the exact same thing you are guilty of. Do not gloss over this. I want you resting in Me. Start seeing yourself as you are in Christ. Blessed. He became a curse for you so that you could inherit the Blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit by faith.

You are blessed. Start saying that and let Me open your eyes so you can see the blessings showering upon your life.

The elder son in the parable of the prodigal son saw his life as drudgery, slavery, and lacking in good things. But in reality he had freedom, luxury, and abundance. He owned everything for the father had already given him his inheritance. But he never took it. He never saw it was his. So he resented his father for withholding good things from him when actually his father had already given him complete authority over them. He had no love for or relationship with the one whom he was with always and who had given him everything. He never enjoyed what was his, he just kept trying to get it.

Enjoy what is yours. I gave you the Kingdom. I have richly provided all things for you to enjoy. All you will ever need for time and eternity I have already given you in Jesus.

If you don’t know what you have, you will not enjoy your life. Start talking about what you have, partake of it. Jesus emptied Himself and became poor so you could become rich with all He has. And I have given Him everything.

Paul was suffering from attacks by Satan. As soon as Paul would enter a town to preach and crowds would begin gathering and miracles flowing, the devil would find people who would pick up his anger, jealousy, and lies and go after Paul, even so far as stoning him and only leaving when they thought he was dead, to beating him and having him thrown in prison. So Paul came to Me and asked Me to stop all that. But My Son took away the devil’s authority and told you to resist him and cast him out. I told Paul My grace was sufficient for him to do that himself. For My power would reach perfection in his weakness by faith. And that was enough for him. He resisted the devil and stopped him every time. All the devil meant for harm brought about more people saved for Me. Like the shipwreck and then the snake on the island of Malta.

And Paul shared it with you by My Spirit when he wrote:

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:1-5.

He now saw the trials and persecutions of Satan as a good fight of faith producing endurance and character that could never be defeated.

He later likened these trials of endurance like a soldier enrolled in the army is looking for battles to prove his worth, or a professional boxer is seeking a good match in the ring to prove his skill. The professional fighter loves a good fight with a formidable opponent for he has the skills to win the victory. And so do you. Get skillful at taking Satan down every time and like Paul you will begin to enjoy a good fight of faith. And it takes diligence, for it is by faith and patience that you inherit the promises.

And how do you take Satan down? You have faith in Me, that is, in the Word of the promise you need and My Covenant Name that you need at the moment (the LORD your Healer, the LORD your provider, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD who sanctifies you, the God of all comfort, and on and on), you speak My Word that refutes it to the sickness, lack, degrading thought, condemnation, shame, blame, offense, depression, and whatever else Satan tries to put into your thoughts or body and then you rebuke it and cast the unclean spirit and the devil out in Jesus’ Name, and then you ask Me to restore any damage done and make it better than before. And then you thank and worship until the answer comes to pass.

And one more step, you must forgive anyone against whom you have an offense or any kind of rancor or unforgiveness so the blessing,  healing, provision or anything else you need can flow in. You already have it but unforgiveness can block the door to your life.

I have clothed you in Christ—the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness. These are garments of beauty and majesty. Be grateful. And wear them with joy. I have given you the full armor to wear to ward off the devil’s attacks. Use it.

Rest in Me and do not budge from your place of rest. It is called the place of grace where all is fully supplied. You have it all in Me. You just have to see it and take it. Like Hagar with the spring that was before her as she cried that she and Ishmael would die of thirst. I simply opened her eyes and she and the boy drank and from there they prospered and became very great. You know Abraham had circumcised Ishmael. Covenant cannot be broken. Did you ever think about that?

Stop thinking others have more than you. They don’t. I have given you all the same measure of faith when you are born again and it is My faith. If yours seems less than another it is simply because you have not fed and exercised it as they have.

YOU HAVE THE SAME GOD, YOU HAVE THE SAME WORD, YOU HAVE THE SAME PRECIOUS FAITH, YOU HAVE THE SAME SPIRIT IN YOU, AND YOU HAVE THE SAME SAVIOR. AND YOU HAVE THE NAME ABOVE EVERY OTHER NAME, JESUS.

Do something with it. Like Peter did. Like Paul did. Like Mary did. They did not need a big headquarters; they just went out two by two and changed the world. Stop crying and start singing praise. The voice of thanksgiving brings wonders.

I love you. Know what you have and stop thinking others have more. In Jesus I have given you EVERYTHING. Enjoy it.
