See then that you walk carefully, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
To prophesy is to open the ears of your heart and hear from Heaven. A true prophet is one who hears from Me and speaks My Words for a very particular purpose to redeem the time.
Surely the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh) does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7.
Why do I do nothing in the earth without first revealing My secret counsel to My prophets? Because I gave you dominion authority over the earth realm and when Adam and Eve closed Me out I became like the Landlord who cannot come in of his own volition but only when authorized by the tenant, except to preserve the property if things go too far. So unless you speak My Word into the earth using your dominion authority, things are not set in motion to bring My Words to pass in the earthly realm.
You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. Job 22:28.
My prophet Ezekiel did not need an audience or a congregation to prophesy. I told him to prophesy to mountains,
Now the Word of the LORD came to me, saying: “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh)!” Ezekiel 6;1-3.
to visions of dry bones,
Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh) to these bones: “Surely I will cause spirit to enter into you, and you shall live.” Ezekiel 37:4-5.
to nations,
Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him. Ezekiel 38:1-2.
and to future battles,
And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh): “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal; and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand.” Ezekiel 39:1-3.
And what he spoke out into the earth from what he heard from Me is still unfolding and coming to pass. His decreeing My Words into the earth targeted at nations and regions, people groups and future battles, set in motion what has come to pass already and what is still going to be. But once he released My plans, the time was redeemed.
The same is true with Isaiah, once he set in motion the Word of the virgin with child who would be “God with us” and spoke of the child born and the Son given upon whose shoulder dominion rests whose Name is wonderful, counselor, God hero, Father forever, Prince of peace, things started moving in Heaven and on earth to bring those Words to pass. And the prophet Micah decreed Bethlehem as the place where the great Shepherd of the sheep who would be peace whose goings forth were from eternity would be born in time. And the motion was impelled along to the exact place. And Daniel decreed the time.
And Isaiah and Daniel and David, spoke of the sufferings and death of Jesus to take away sins. They spoke it into the earth ahead of time and set all in motion. And each person involved in the crucifixion and death of Jesus unknowingly walked out these prophecies to even the smallest details. It had all be set in motion hundreds, even thousands of years before for just such a time as when it took place.
One book– the Bible, many inspired prophets, but One author joining it into one seamless whole from Genesis (Bereshit) to Revelation.
Jeremiah spoke out My Words about the New Covenant but also spoke of the rebirth of Israel and coming from the north as the first to return.
Isaiah spoke of Cyrus rebuilding the temple before Cyrus was even born.
“It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ and of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.’” Isaiah 44:28.
Things you speak are set in motion, good and bad. When you prophesy My Words they will come to pass unless you draw them back. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward, and hold fast to your confession of faith. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done My will, you may receive what was promised. For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay. But My righteous one shall live by faith; and if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:35-38. If you shrink back you pull up the seed and stop the growth.
When you prophesy you are setting My Will in motion upon the earth. You are redeeming the time—present and future—to bring about the results I wish for your growth and goodness and the carrying out of My mysteries of salvation, new creation, righteousness, justification, and glorification. And you are called to be stewards of My mysteries to release them into the earth.
While Jesus walked the earth as one of you, He used His dominion authority to set into motion the events to come then because the Israelites had missed their visitation, such as the destruction of the temple and the conquest of Jerusalem, but also ahead to His second coming and the great period of tribulation.
A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh) has spoken! Who can but prophesy? Amos 3:7-8.
The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass. Proverbs 19:12.
The Lion roars, the voice of the King, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, but the Manna came down on the dewfall to feed My people, and before the daystar like the dew, My only begotten Son was birthed into the earth in Bethlehem, which means, “House of Bread.” The true Bread from Heaven that came into the world for you to eat and never die. My promise of eternal life.
For man does not live on earthly bread alone but on every Word that proceeds from My mouth.
The voice said, “Cry out!” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the LORD blows upon it. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades but the Word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:6-7.
This life is short, a mere breath, but eternity is forever. Be careful how you walk. Redeem the time. Speak My Word to redeem it, to set in motion the great mysteries of Salvation. For I come like a Shepherd to lead My people out of the trap of the worldly into the green pastures and fortified cities of refuge of My Kingdom. Join Me in redeeming the time.
Behold, the Lord (Adonai) LORD (Yahweh) shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young. Isaiah 40:10-11.
I am seeking out the lost through the call of My prophets. It is time to speak to nations, dry bones, and to the living dead who are dominated by sin so that they are slaves and have lost their sense of dominion authority by handing it by default to the devil.
You have to check the devil every time he comes or you will never have checkmate and he will continue advancing across the board and capturing all the pieces of your life. Prophets check his activities and set My Word in motion to take down strongholds and win battles.
You can do nothing without Me but I can do nothing in the earth without you. Come to Me and let us change the earth together right from your secret place of prayer in Me. Prophesy to the nations, to rulers, to wars, and to all peoples, set things in motion.

And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:16-20.
