Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Until you understand how to rest in Me, you will not be free and you will not be sanctified and satisfied in your life.

Also I gave them My sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them. Ezekiel 20:12.

Shabbat, that you translate Sabbath, means simply “rest.” When did I enter into My rest from creating the heavens and the earth and all that is in them? When I saw it was all “very good.” Then I entered Shabbat and sanctified that rest as holy for all that was drawn into the Shabbat with Me was good. Nothing else but good could enter My rest.

You can rest in goodness alone for where there is evil there is unrest. There is no rest for the wicked they are like a churning sea.

When you keep your mind stayed on Me I can keep you in perfect peace (shalom, wholeness in every area and arena of your life). Why? If your attention is fixed on Me you are attentive only to good, for I alone am absolute goodness, there is no evil or darkness in Me.

O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:8-10.

Those who seek Me shall not want of any good thing. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes down from Me, the Father of Lights. In Me there is no darkness or shifting shadow. I am always absolutely good. You never should expect anything but goodness from Me.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:11.

Good overcomes evil. I am the Most High and I am only good. Nothing but goodness can enter Me for I am always at rest though, as Jesus told you, I am constantly at work even till now.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. Ecclesiastes 3:11.

Evil is not from Me. It is from a fallen creature, who I made good but who went from light into darkness and pulled others there into his unrest by lies, and that is why the truth sets you free and sanctifies you.

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. James 1:13-16.

My thoughts are good thoughts. My thoughts are higher than your thoughts and My ways than your ways. At the time of Noah it grieved Me to see as a result of the work of the devil with Adam and Eve, the generations were of corrupted seed and every thought they conceived was evil. Corrupted seed produces evil harvests. But My Word has changed all that. My Word is incorruptible seed. It is the GOOD seed that the Master planted in the field, not the seed of the evil one.

Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:24-30.

To enter My rest he wicked man must forsake his thoughts, which give him no rest, and replace them with My thoughts, that is, with My Word as revealed by My Spirit. Think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise. Let these dwell in your mind and go to work to change your life into a place of rest, and I, the God of peace, will be with you because these are like My thoughts. Philippians 4:8-9.

Keep your mind above where there is every good thing that is given where Jesus is seated with Me. There is glory there and you are drawn into that glory for I have seated you there with Christ, for when I raised Him from the dead, I raised you with Him and seated you in Him in Heaven with Me.

My flow is good things for they flow down to you out of Me. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you, and the more you open your heart to goodness the more I can pour in. Let My goodness enlarge your heart. Goodness makes our heart throb with joy and overflow with abundance. Those who seek Me want for no good thing.

For I will turn their mourning into joy and will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow. I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people will be satisfied with My goodness,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:13-14.

Once you have tasted My goodness nothing else will taste good. Sin will not, lusts will not, addictions will not, anger will not, and bitterness certainly will never taste sweet.

And how do you taste My goodness?  My Word is sweeter than honey dripping from the comb. My Word is sweet to your palate, “For the ear tests words as the palate tastes food.” Job 34:3.

How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103.

Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the LORD. 1 Peter 2:1-2.

“Rejoice in the LORD,” means you rejoice in My goodness and thus enter My rest.

And how do you enter into My rest? By faith in My goodness because of My great love for you as manifested in Christ Jesus who is Lord of the Sabbath day. Jesus is your Shabbat. I have made Him to be wisdom for you, and righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. For we who have believed enter that rest. Hebrews 4:1-3.

Goodness, rest, and peace are all a cause for celebration. There is nothing but celebration in the Kingdom of Heaven. Celebrate My goodness and you will be pulled into sanctifying rest where you will be filled with My goodness. And evil cannot overcome you when you are full of goodness. It cannot enter the stronghold of rest in Me.

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. Nahum 1:7.

When Solomon had built the glorious house where My presence would dwell among My people in Jerusalem, all the people came to the dedication and rejoiced in My goodness to them in that all My good promises to them from Abraham to that time had been fulfilled and they dwelt in the land of abundance I had promised them, at peace on every side. And they celebrated and rejoiced, singing, “Give thanks to the LORD for He is good, His love is everlasting!” And My glory filled the temple with a thick cloud and fire came down from Heaven on the burnt offering.

Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the house. The priests could not enter into the house of the LORD because the glory of the LORD filled the LORD’s house. All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the LORD upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the LORD, saying, “Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting.”2 Chronicles 7:1-3.

And they did not want to stop celebrating so much goodness that filled their hearts and all around them.

So Solomon observed the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly who came from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt. On the eighth day they held a solemn assembly, for the dedication of the altar they observed seven days and the feast seven days. Then on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people to their tents, rejoicing and happy of heart because of the goodness that the LORD had shown to David and to Solomon and to His people Israel. 2 Chronicles 7:8-10.

Let My goodness fill you up with My glory until you dance for joy and gladness all your days and dance right over into the eternal Kingdom where there is no darkness, no night, no sorrow, no pain, no mourning, and no death. Just pure joy and peace. But it all comes from My goodness.

Jesus explained the source, “None is good but God alone.” Mark 10:18. But I have pulled you into My goodness, also known as My rest.

God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31.

And that includes you. You are in My image and according to My likeness and I am good. Selah.

I love you. Come share My joy. Come enter My rest and be at work like Me and Jesus even unto now. But it is not toil or worried work, it is the flow of fruitful grace that renews your youth.

Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. Genesis 2:3.
