Since the Word of the King is authoritative, who will say to him, “What are you doing?” He who keeps His command experiences no evil thing, for a wise heart knows the time and the judgment. Ecclesiastes 8:4-5.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
When you believe in your heart that I raised Jesus from the dead to your justification and you confess Jesus as Lord you are saved and made righteous. When you submit to My Word, the good news of your salvation, you are born again through the birth canal of My Word spoken in truth. You are regenerated by the Holy Spirit into a new creation in Christ and the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. Though you are still in the world, you are no longer of the world. You are now born again as My child and you are a born again citizen of My Kingdom. You are no longer under the jurisdiction of Satan, the domain of darkness, but you are under My jurisdiction, the Kingdom of My beloved Son, who is the light of the world.
This word “jurisdiction” is from the Latin word “jūrisdictiō,” which is formed from jūris, meaning “law,” plus dictio, which is the act of saying. Think of it as who has the right to say what the law is.
Before being born again, you were under the jurisdiction of the law of sin and death but now you are under the jurisdiction of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. By receiving Jesus and being born again, you have passed from death to life. Sin is no longer your master for you are now under grace. So you must start speaking the right law and no longer speak the lies of the kingdom of darkness over your body, your home, your family and your territory if you want the benefits of My Kingdom to manifest in your life. Stop speaking death and speak life, it is there for you who are in Christ Jesus.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the LORD your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days. Deuteronomy 30:19-20.
When you love Me and obey My law you have submitted to My jurisdiction and are entitled to use the law of the Kingdom, the perfect law of liberty, to break off the chains by which Satan has bound you and rise up to state the law on which you base your answer to his attacks. For which I have already passed judgment against him.
My Son told you at the Passover meal the night before He died for you that He was sending you the Holy Spirit to be in you and with you always. And that when the Holy Spirit came, He would convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Jesus, who is the only way sin can be paid for and washed away; and concerning righteousness, because Jesus took your sins and gave you His righteousness when He died and I raised Him and He returned to Me so that you no longer see Him; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged, Satan is the “god” of this world as given dominion authority by Adam but Jesus has taken that back for those who are under His jurisdiction as the second and last Adam. John 16:8-11.
In Jesus, I have already judged and condemned Satan and he is sentenced to hell when Adam’s leasehold interest expires. And all who are under his jurisdiction have his same judgment.
In the court system, jurisdiction denotes the territory in which a court can exercise its power to state the law and thus determine the cases pleaded before it. But jurisdiction over a particular matter depends on three facets of jurisdiction: territorial, personal and subject matter. The court has territorial jurisdiction over land, people, and businesses located in or that operate in the physical boundaries of the territory of that court, which can be a city, an island, a state, a nation, or a kingdom. Personal jurisdiction has to do with the standing of the person bringing the action, whether they have submitted to the jurisdiction of the court or not, for without submitting to the jurisdiction of that court the person bringing the action cannot have the benefits of the court. If it is the person against whom the action is brought, personal jurisdiction is determined by where that person resides or, if they do not live in the jurisdiction of the court, whether they are initiating contacts with that area through commerce, causing harm or injury, or taking things out of the area though they are not citizens or residents of that area. And subject matter jurisdiction determines which court you plead in, whether it be a probate matter, a civil matter, a criminal matter, or a family matter. But the Supreme Court of a land has jurisdiction over everything.
With respect to individuals, jurisdiction means having a legal right over someone or something. Parents have jurisdiction over their minor children. Guardians and conservators have jurisdiction over their wards. Homeowners, whether it be outright ownership, leasehold ownership, or by rental agreement, have jurisdiction over their homes. And each person has jurisdiction over their own body and decisions. Governments have jurisdiction over their citizens and territory. Kings have jurisdiction over their subjects and their domains.
A citizen of another country who is a resident in the foreign country has no right to demand the ruler of another nation to send that nation’s army to protect him, nor does the ruler have the jurisdiction to do so to protect that foreigner. A citizen of another country has no right to contact another kingdom and ask to receive the government benefits of the foreign nation. Likewise, if you have not submitted to My jurisdiction I cannot send My heavenly host to protect you and you have no right to My benefits, such as the children’s bread (healing).
But what does this have to do with the One Solution to all your problems, needs, and impossible situations? Everything. Whether I have authority to act in your life and whether you have access to My benefits depends on you being under My jurisdiction. And the things you can declare over your life and territory depend on the jurisdiction you are under as well. The jurisdiction you are under determines your right and power to apply the law to the things you have a legal right over.
I have given mankind dominion authority over the earth but how you use that authority will be determined by the jurisdiction you have submitted your life to. I have given you authority upon the earth and for your own life decisions and authority in your territory but, just as in court, the jurisdiction you submit to and operate your dominion authority under will determine what benefits you receive, what laws you operate under, what protection you are entitled to, and what your final judgment will be.
When you submit to Me, that is, to My Words, which are My laws, and you resist the devil (you bring an action or make a counterclaim against him), he must flee from you for judgment has already been passed by Me against him. You can bring a collection action each time he steals from you and a harassment action for a restraining order each time he tries to torment or injure you, your family, your home, or your business. For when he comes on the territory of a believer he is in My jurisdiction and subject to my laws. That is why you must answer him with My Words when he harasses you and tries to draw you back under his jurisdiction by your submitting to him so he can again apply the law of sin and death to you.
To use My laws in your dominion authority over the world, the flesh, and the devil, you must be under My jurisdiction. That is why when the seven sons of the Jewish priest Sceva tried to cast out the demon in a possessed man by the Name of Jesus, the devil resisted them and refused to obey. He knew they had no authority to use that Name since they had not submitted to His jurisdiction. Remember, I rescued you from the power of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son and that is the Kingdom authority you are operating under now. You are operating under His authority, for I gave Him all authority in Heaven and on earth. And He authorized you to go in that authority and speak in His Name.
But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming, then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 1 Corinthians 15:23-25.
I have given you dominion authority over the earth, and your fleshly body is formed from the dust of the earth so it is up to you what laws you are going to declare over your body and to whose authority you are going to submit your body.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:12-14.
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may know what the will of God is, that which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2.
Renew your mind in My Word and be transformed (metamorphosis), so that not only your spirit is a new creation, but your soul and your body are as well. Instead of speaking words of death, speak the Words that are Spirit and life over your body and watch things change.
If anyone does not stumble in the words he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well. James 3:2.
The bit in a horse’s mouth makes the horse to in whatever way you pull the reigns. The rudder on a ship turns the ship in any direction you pull the helm. And I tell you the tongue is like that over your body and your life. Whatever you direct by your words is the direction things will go. Death and life are in the power of your tongue. Choose life that you and your descendants may life the abundant life, the quality of eternal life, My kind of life, that My Son came to give you.
Declare the benefits of My Kingdom, which are also of My covenant with you, over your body and over your territory. Exercise the laws of My Kingdom under which you have taken jurisdiction in conjunction with your dominion authority over the earth that Jesus won back for you.
Your mouth has a big part to play in the solution to your problem, need, and impossible situation. What law will you speak and what law are you authorized to speak determines everything now and for eternity.
In Psalm 103 I tell you to command everything in your being to bless Me so you can reap blessing. And I give you a list of benefits that are yours in My jurisdiction, citizen benefits for those in My Kingdom, and they are also covenant benefits and heirship benefits. And you have all those in Christ and more.
Tell you eyes, ears, hair, brain, vocal cords, and go through every part of your body in blessing unto Me. And offer your body to Me so that I may have jurisdiction over you to make everything in you whole, perfect, and complete.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
There are great benefits to being a member of My Kingdom and being under My jurisdiction. And one of those is you can call on Me and I can dispatch My heavenly host to protect you and deliver you. And they hearken to the voice of My Word, even in your life.
Use My Word, speak My law, and you will always come out above and not beneath.
“Now it shall be, if you hear and obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you as the most high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you hear and obey the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 28:1-2.
I love you. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. If you are born again, you are in My jurisdiction so start declaring My laws (which are My promises) over your body, your family, your home, your territory and everywhere in your neighborhood and city. I am making you the guard and keeper of your territory, and that is wherever I send you to take territory for the Kingdom and shut Satan out of the area. Take dominion using the law and resources of My Kingdom. And you do it by speaking. Juris dictio. The one who has the authority to speak the law and enforce it, and you do. Jesus has given it to you.
“Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:3-9.
