I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 34:1.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Speak blessing and you will be speaking like Me.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love. Ephesians 5:1-2.

The first words I spoke over mankind on the day I created you, and first words are important for they set in motion the things that follow them, were words of blessing. I never took those words back. You are blessed. And it is time you knew that and spoke it.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. Ephesians 1:3-4.

And, as I told Abraham, if you follow Me, I will not only bless you and make your name great but you shall bless and be a blessing as well. Genesis 12:1-2. And that blessing did not just remain in his neighborhood, I told him, “And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” Genesis 12:3. And in Jesus the blessing of Abraham is on you through the promise of the Spirit in faith. Your life should bless you, Me, and every member of My family in Heaven and on earth for you are a necessary member of the body of Christ for the whole to be blessed in one symphony of blessing. And in the blessing there is POWER, wonder working, miracle working, power.

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom the whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the family of believers what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21.

When you speak blessing you release POWER to make a barren place into a garden of Eden and a sick, broken body into a blessing of strength and health. The Blessing knows what to do. When you release it by faith, and the spirit of faith is you believe in your heart and speak with your mouth, the Blessing goes to work.

To bless another from your blessing is an act of love. I am blessed and I pour out that blessing on you for I am love.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:16-17.

From My fullness you have all received grace, which is My blessed life in you, and you are to share that grace, and as you dispense it greater and greater grace will flow—grace on top of grace. The blessing is unlimited, it makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. The more you give, the more is poured into you. It is the blessing of shalom.

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for shalom and not for evil to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

And that is how I taught Moses, and through him the priests, to impart blessing, it is a blessing of shalom, which has been My plan for you from the start. And I do not change.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, ‘Thus you shall bless the sons of Israel. You shall say to them: ‘The LORD bless you, and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and give you His grace, the LORD smile upon you and give you SHALOM.’  So they shall put My Name on the sons of Israel, and I then will bless them.” Numbers 6:22-27.

Blessing comes in My Covenant Name, LORD. My Name is the key that opens you up to the blessing of SHALOM. Why? To authorize Me to pour all My Covenant promises, which are all blessings creating the wholeness of SHALOM, you must be in Covenant with Me. For as My Covenant family you share My Name.

I also gave My Name of Salvation, which is the Name above every other name as an inheritance to Jesus (Yeshuah). And what was the first word He spoke to the disciples in the upper room as He revealed Himself to them the day I raised Him from the dead? “SHALOM.” The blessing of Shalom.

It is the Blessing of the LORD that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it. It is not the blessing of the world, the flesh and the devil, for the Babylonian system can make you rich but it will add sorrow and toil with it. To obtain the wealth of the world you cannot be whole in every part of your life, one or more areas will be sacrificed for obtaining and maintaining the worldly wealth for it is not a blessing of shalom.

Shalom is everything working together for good in your life no matter what was intended by others or by the devil in the circumstances of your life. Shalom is not a “rat race” to get ahead, but a place of rest in Me, the source and provider of all, whereby you walk in the blessing so that all you put your hands to prospers.

Shalom is a Hebrew word, שָׁלוֹם, which you will see translated many different ways in English but in Hebrew it is just one word that encompasses all that is good, perfect, excellent and lovely. It is what My Spirit through My apostle Paul tells you to think upon.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the SHALOM of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of SHALOM will be with you. Philippians 4:6-9.

Shalom means peace, completeness, soundness, safety, good health, total welfare, prosperity, quiet, tranquility, contentment, good human relations, friendship, peace with Me, especially in covenant relation, peace from war, happiness and joy. It means that nothing is missing to make a complete life of wholeness filled with good days, nothing is broken, and no one is alone.

It is like having the whole pie of life, which includes good health, provision and prosperity, good relationships with others, no lack in your finances, and peace beyond understanding, instead of just one slice. And it is all based on the peace you have with Me in Jesus, your Lord, by the blood of the Cross and My gift to you of righteousness by faith in the atoning work of My Son on your behalf.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.  Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:18-21.

You are ambassadors of blessing. I have blessed you beyond measure as My own special treasure and you shall be a blessing bringing Shalom everywhere you go.

Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘SHALOM be to this house.’ If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you. Luke 10:5-6.

Jesus came and preached Shalom to those who were far away and Shalom to those who were near as He brought together Jew and Gentile as one new man, each as a new creation in Christ so that all were blessed.

But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace. Ephesians 2:13-14.

I preach shalom to My people and so must you. Peace through the blood of the Cross, reconciling all the lost to Myself through My Son, making us as one in Me, because I love you so.

I will hear what God the LORD will say; for He will speak SHALOM to His people, to His godly ones. Psalm 85:8.

So what has this to do with controlling your tongue? I am telling you what to speak no matter what it looks like—no matter how dry and barren it looks, if you speak blessing, it will not stay that way long. If you put the blessing to work it knows what to do. If your life looks barren, look back to the blessing of Abraham and know it is yours in Christ Jesus your Lord and put the blessing to work.

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; when he was but one I called him, then I blessed him and multiplied him. Indeed, the LORD will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and sound of a melody”. Isaiah 51:1-3.

And you, who are in Christ, have come to the heavenly Mt. Zion, and how to you release all this blessing?

I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to plant the heavens, to establish the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:16.

Words of blessing are the most powerful words that can be spoken. Love never fails and the blessing is the manifestation of My love. Love gives good things. Love is generous. And love shares its life with those that are the objects of its affection. And that is who each one of you are. I delight in the children of men.

The LORD appeared to me from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love;  therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Jeremiah 31:3.

Jesus blessed. He blessed Me, He blessed the children brought to Him, He blessed the bread, He blessed you with provision, healing, and shalom, and He blessed you with eternal life by giving His eternal life to satisfy divine justice for the one you lost by shedding His eternal blood to atone for all your sins and offenses, to heal all your ills and pains, He bore all that hurt and harmed you Himself and released you from your sins by His blood and made you kings and priests unto Me. And priests are to bless. And I already gave you the words with which to bless as My royal priesthood. Numbers 6:24.

Sing with David and be blessed, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; He pardons all your iniquities, He heals all your diseases; He redeems your life from the pit, He crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; He fills your days with good things, your youth is renewed like the eagle.” Psalm 103:1-5.

Bless Me as I bless you. Tell all the parts of your body to bless Me by working in the perfection I gave them in the beginning. I am blessed when you are in good health and prospering because that is how I blessed you to be from the start. My Will has not changed even though sin came and caused a division that can only be crossed by Covenant. And that covenant was made and sealed in the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony, that is the confession of faith.

And My servant David knew what to do with his tongue to see blessing and favor multiply in his life, even when it looked hopeless under human standards as he hid from Saul and the armies of Israel in dark caves and foreign cities as an outcast from his beloved Israel.

I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul will make its boast in the LORD; the humble will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3.

He knew the right words to speak to put the blessing to work. And he invites you to join him and do the same. And the outlaws who were in distress and despair who ran to hide with him because they knew with him they would find blessing, joined with him in speaking blessing and became his mighty men that followed him out of the wilderness to the palace to lead the armies of Israel in unconquered victory.

And what was the result of speaking blessing and having the others who were in dire circumstances do the same? Let David tell you, “I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! Psalm 34:4-8.

He filled his mouth with blessing and led all those with him to do the same and they were all radiant and blessed, saved out of all their troubles.

Radiant. Looking at Me as you bless Me makes you radiant. Why? You know why! The Shalom Blessing: “The LORD bless you, and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and give you His grace, the LORD smile upon you and give you SHALOM.” Numbers 6:24-26.

Shalom, shalom, shalom. The triple trinity shalom, Father, Son, and Spirit all say “Shalom!” Will  you say back, “Shalom”?

Do you remember the Shunamite woman that Elisha had spoken the blessing of a son over? She got her son but a few years later, he lay dead from heat stroke on her lap and she went and laid him on the bed she had prepared in a guest room for Elisha where he stayed when he traveled that way. She then had her donkey saddled up and went to claim her blessing back. Her husband, who did not know the child had died, asked her what was going on that she was headed to get the prophet, and she answered only one word, “Shalom.” First words are the most important for they set in motion all that follows. And she had her blessing. I brought the little boy back from the passageway of death very much alive for years of blessing to come.

Speak the blessing of shalom over yourself, your children, your job, your school, your friends, your spouse, your siblings, your church home, your city, your nation, and the world. I speak of shalom to My people. And if people will not accept it, it will return to you. Blessed and more blessed the more you bless.

In Christ, I have already given you every spiritual blessing in Heaven, why don’t you start releasing them by speaking them, or even better, singing them with My servant David in the Spirit, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name.

And tell all your body, inside and out, including all organs, bones, joints, and body systems, to bless Me, ask Me to bless them, and then you bless them too. I have blessed you to be a blessing to yourself, Me, and everyone and everything. Bless your garden, bless your home, bless your car, bless your work, bless your brain, and I could go on.

But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water; and I will remove sickness from your midst. There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:25-26.

How do you serve Me? The way you serve anyone, by blessing them and then the blessings will chase you down and overtake you.

Now it shall be, if you diligently hear and obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you the most high above all the nations of the earth. All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you hear, heed, and obey the LORD your God: Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country. Blessed shall be the offspring of your body and the produce of your ground and the offspring of your beasts, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways. The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the Name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. The LORD will make you abound in prosperity, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your beast and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. The LORD will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, hear and obey them carefully, and do not turn aside from any of the words which I command you today, to the right or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. Deuteronomy 28:1-14.

I am blessed when I see you walking in the truth because the truth saves, sanctifies and sets you free. And the truth is My Word and it is in My Word you will be blessed.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt with you and bled and died for you so that you might be blessed.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14.

Do not ignore so great a blessing. Speak it, sing it, and, above all, BLESS and never curse.

I love you and so I bless. Be like Me, love and bless. And the more you speak blessing, the more blessed you will be. And Me too. I love to bless you. It was My first words to you and I have never stopped speaking it to all who will hear.

And He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they, after worshiping Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple praising God. Luke 24:46-53.
