This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Never speak fear. It is not from Me. I did not give you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound self-controlled mind. So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. 2 Timothy 1:6-8.
But fear comes, the enemy brings it all the time. It is his nature for he is full of fear. The first time Adam and Eve feared was after they submitted to the devil and sinned, which he then accused them of, causing them to fear. Fear what? Punishment. Fear has to do with some form of punishment, suffering, and ultimately death.
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. Hebrews 2:14-15.
Fear keeps you in bondage. You are not free if you are living in fear. It is time you spoke back to the spirit of fear, laughed instead of cried yourself to sleep, and spoke faith instead of fear. You can speak either faith or fear in a situation and what you say will determine the way it comes out.
Never put up with fear in your heart, never permit it to stay for even one moment, you must get it out before it sets up camp in you and becomes your default way of thinking.
You take fear by saying that fear. The Israelites I brought so triumphantly out of the slavery of Egypt faced the entrance to the land I had promised to give them and told them they would conquer and they feared the report of the inhabitants of the land. They chose fear over faith, which put simply is they chose not to believe My promises of victory to them but instead believed the devil’s promises of defeat and death. They spoke the devil’s words of fear and cried and called out the dreaded result the entire night but Joshua and Caleb boldly spoke My Words of faith and declared victory.
Now consider the result—all those who spoke fear never entered the Promised Land of abundance but died prematurely in the desert wandering with no goal or purpose. The two who dared to refuse to fear and instead spoke My promises with bold faith lived long youthful lives, even in old age, and entered the Promised Land and conquered it.
‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10.
Refuse to speak fear to yourself or to others. When you speak fear, this brings what you fear upon you. Just as faith is a magnet for My good promises, for deliverance and showers of blessing to come upon you and overwhelm you, so likewise with fear, fear is a magnet for all the evil you dread.
For what I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet, and I am not at rest, but turmoil comes. Job 3:25-26.
And there is your answer, if you permit yourself to be in constant agitation, anxiety, worry, and dread in a every trial, storm, test, or any other attack of the devil you encounter, no matter who or what he uses to bring it against you, you will not be at rest you will not be able to hear from Me for My voice comes in peace and rest. Be still and know that I am God. Calm down and look at Me and you will find My loving eyes are on you to take care of you and to see to all your needs. My hand feeds you, protects you, empowers you, and leads you. I have hold of your hand. Say that and be aware that I am there. What you say is where your attention is, and if you have your attention on your fear instead of on Me as your rock solid solution, you will have no peace.
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:31-33.
I instructed Joshua to be strong and courageous by only saying My Words and not turning to the right or left from them and that would give him good success and prosperity. And it did, it made him more than a conqueror.
The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8
There is only one way to successfully cast all fear out of you as soon as it enters. Remember My love and My care for you. Perfect love casts out fear. When you know I love you—that I was in My Son reconciling the world to Myself not counting your trespasses against you but accounting them all to Jesus and that I do not allow anything to divide you from Me if you want to return and run into My arms, you will fear no one and nothing. My everlasting arms are there for you.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved us. 1 John 4:18-19.
I am your secret place, with Me you are on holy ground and nothing can knock down holy ground, it is inaccessibly high. Satan tried to ascend the heights, but I knocked him down to the earth and soon he will be sealed up even lower. Jesus crushed the devil’s head and took back the throne of he Son of Man.
I am on your side, I am with you, so who can be against you? There is no one higher than I. I am the Most High.
Run to Me, I am there for you all the time and I am the God of all comfort. And speak that comfort to yourself and to My people. Comfort takes away fear.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
Know I make all things work together for your good when you abide in love with Me and are called according to your purpose. Say that instead of words of fear.
When fear hits the pit of your stomach about the situation you are in you must answer it and tell it to go and then speak My words of comfort to yourself—how I am working on your situation to make it work for your good. Be like David, be like Paul, they both declared that I delivered them out of all that made them fear, and I did.
I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4.
Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and the Lord delivered me out of them! 2 Timothy 3:10-11.
Never speak fear, speak deliverance. In every tight and fearful place, I surround you with songs of deliverance! And all you have to do is sing the songs of deliverance too. You turn the valley of trouble into a door of hope by singing there.
You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7.
There is no reason to fear, even if it is your unwise actions that got you into the mess you are in. Remember that My Son died for you to take away your sins and I raised Him for you as your great good Shepherd. He leads you to shalom, He leads you to freedom, and He leads you to My house where you are secure and where there is no lack but only overflowing abundant life. Showers of blessing.
I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26.
I raised Jesus from the dead by the blood of the Covenant as the great Shepherd of the sheep. And He told you that His sheep hear His voice and will not heed a stranger’s voice.
When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers. John 10:4-5.
How do you know My voice and how do you know when it is the stranger’s voice? Seek peace. If what you are hearing in your thoughts causes you fear and confusion, it is not My voice no matter how legitimate it seems. I do not push you to do things in haste and I am not harsh and I never lead you by fear. If what you hear is deep within you and even if it is correction or quick direction it gives you peace and puts things into order it is from Me. I am not a God of confusion but of peace. But whatever you hear within, if it does not match up with My Word, and usually I will refer you to a particular scripture, it is not from Me.
Also, you will know it is Me if it breaks a bondage off you or enlightens you to a particular question you had or shows you a way to do a project or case you are handling at your work in a very clear and concise way that solves things that seemed unsolvable.
Another way you will know it is Me is if you hit a treasure vein, by this I mean you are thinking about a question or problem you have or are just reading My Word and suddenly you hit the thread that joins scriptures from all over the Old and New Testaments that lead you to a truth as one cohesive whole that you had not seen before.
And then there is the anointing that falls like a mantle and then wells up in you like an inner spring as I speak a Word of assurance, blessing, or forgiveness to you and you know you have had a very personal encounter with Me.
Let Me show you your dream, let Me give you the plan, let Me lead you today to your promised land. Don’t have any fear, I am always here, at your side within and without, I have compassed you about, making your life beautiful and new. Singing My songs in you, singing My songs with you.
I love you. Never speak fear, instead speak faith. Faith in My promise from My Word that you need at the moment. Everything will be all right. Do not fear, I am with you. And that is more than enough, and that is forever.
