For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Give glory to Me in your body. What does that mean? This is very important in many aspects but today I want to emphasize how you speak to your body when it is attacked with pain, illness, disease or any spirit of infirmity for those things do not give Me glory or you either.

First you must understand where your glory comes from and what it is. Your glory comes from Me, but it becomes your own as in My image. I clothed, surrounded, compassed, and crowned the first man and woman with glory (in Hebrew the word is “kavode (כָּבוֹד),” which means glory) and honor (in Hebrew the word “hadar (הָדָר),” which means an ornament, honor, splendor). Psalm 8:5. Adam and Eve lost that when they cut themselves off from Me, having been being born again by the corruptible seed of the lies of the devil and were naked, but when you are baptized into Christ you clothe yourself in Him and a glimpse of that glory appeared to Peter, James and John on the mountain of the transfiguration, He is clothed in glory and majesty, just as I am.

Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering Yourself with light as with a cloak. Psalm 104:1-2.

And the vestments for the High Priest and his priest sons under the Old Covenant, for which I gave the details of design and materials to Moses, were fashioned so as the one to minister before Me was clothed in glory and beauty. Exodus 28:2, 40. And Jesus is your High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

The Israelites saw My glory as a cloud that had fire within it that led them to the promised land and filled their tabernacle and later their temple, both of which I called My house. My glory lights the Kingdom of Heaven.

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. Revelation 21:22-23.

I defined My glory to Moses as My goodness.

Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your glory!” And He said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. Exodus 33:18-19.

But Moses, in his mortal body with his mortal eyes could not gaze full upon My glory.

But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!” Then the LORD said, “Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock; and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.” Exodus 33:20-23.

I would put Moses in the place by Me on the rock and I would put him in the cleft of the rock and cover him with My hand. Through My servant Paul, My Spirit tells you that the rock that followed the Israelites was Christ and it is by My doing that you are in Christ Jesus, I have sealed you there by My Spirit as a pledge of the glorious things to come. And Jesus is beside Me in glory since before the world began.

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:1-5.

And when you are in Christ Jesus, you are in My hand and there is no snatching out of My hand and the evil one cannot touch you.

And yet I tell you that Moses talked with Me like a friend face-to-face and Isaiah saw the Lord (Adonai, applying to both God and man) seated in the temple on a high and lofty throne. They did not see Me, except for the fire of My glory like Ezekiel, they saw Jesus before His incarnation. Though born as man according to the flesh in time, He always existed as My Son according to the Spirit. Jesus told you that Moses wrote about Him and that Isaiah  had seen the glory of Jesus. For Jesus was always on the throne at My right hand, and you can gaze upon His face.

For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has disclosed Him. John 1:17-18.

You can see My glory shining on the face of Jesus, and live, in fact, in Him is eternal life and whoever beholds Him and believes in Him, He Himself will raise on the last day by My Spirit in and on you.

For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18,

As I dwelt among the Israelites I covered My glory with the cloud, though they could see the fire deep withing the cloud. The glory of the risen Christ blinded Paul for three days when he encountered Him on the Road to Damascus but he lived and I restored his sight. He did not gaze as in a mirror, he saw the full glory. When My glory appears your joy will be full.

When My glory appears miracles take place. The Israelites saw My glory shimmering across the wilderness when I promised to feed them with Manna. My glory cloud and pillar of fire protected them from the Egyptian army who came to attack them and then led them through the parted sea. And My Face looking out of the glory cloud upon the Egyptian army following My people into the Red Sea to overtake them threw them into such confusion and jammed their chariot wheels so they could not harm My Covenant people but sought to retreat because I was fighting for them.

Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle . . Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. Psalm 24:8, 10.

I do not share My glory with another, there is no other God but Me.

“I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, nor My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things; before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.” Isaiah 42:8-9.

But to who are My family. To you who are My royal priesthood clothed in the glory and beauty of your High Priest Jesus, I have given you My glory, Jesus shared that with you in His prayer to Me the night He was betrayed and would no longer be with you in the physical sense. He promised to His disciples and all who believed in Him through their Word this magnificent gift of My glory:

I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one. John 17:20-22.

This is awesome gift is for His body, the church, and to each and every member of it. It is not given to those that are not His disciples.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31-32.

You got it! What? My glory in you. And My glory is My goodness, My presence and My power.

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38.

And I define doing good as healing all oppressed by the devil. You see there that anything that needs healing is a result of demonic oppression and can be cast out. How? BY MY GLORY.

When Jesus healed on the Shabbat, He cast out spirits of infirmity and set the captive of that spirit free. And all the people gave glory to Me.

On the other hand, the Pharisees and priests accused Him of breaking the Sabbath rest by working. But He responded that it was lawful to do good on the Shabbat and not evil, to save life and not to destroy it. He was saying that if you were sick, infirm, and dying, then to do good He had to heal you because otherwise you would be destroyed if He just left you as you were. Remember He is My Word made flesh and I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from your destructions. Psalm 107:20.

All sickness, pain, deformities, disabilities, depression, oppression, come from Adam’s sin that corrupted the seed with deceit and opened the door to the devil to take Adam’s dominion over the world. In other words, he was using Adam’s body to further his purposes because of Adam’s submission to him. He offered his body to him. But once you are disciples of Jesus by continuing, abiding, remaining in My Word, then the incorruptible seed of My Word births you again from above and transfers you out of Satan’s realm of darkness into My marvelous light.

For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:23.

Which is life for the light of men. It is My glory shining into your hearts.

For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6.

And now you can offer your bodies to Me to carry out My good deeds and let My glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea through your dominion authority submitted into My hands for your glory and My glory.

How do you glorify Me in your body, your soul, and your spirit? In your spirit by thanksgiving, worship and praise in believing in, trusting in, and operating in My goodness and in taking authority over what goes on in your soul, that is, your mind, will, and emotions. To glorify Me in your soul you must be feeding only on My Word to renew and transform your mind to think, walk and talk like Me so that you too are partakers of My divine nature of goodness and have the fullness of My power and presence within you to do the glorious good works as a new creation in Christ that I prepared for you in advance that you might walk in them.

You can be filled to overflowing with My goodness when your spirit is filled with My Holy Spirit for within you is My divine fullness bodily. You are My house and a temple of My Spirit, and there is resurrection power in you, power to do a work that surpasses all you can ask or imagine, for in you is the presence of the power to heal, just as it was in Jesus, for He has given you the glory I gave to Him as members of His body on earth.

So how do you glorify Me in your body? One aspect is doing My Word and not allowing your bodies to rebel and continue in the lustful, malicious, slanderous, back biting, stressful, anxious fearful works of the world, the flesh and the devil. To use your bodies as instruments of righteousness in keeping with who you are in Christ rather than as instruments of sin. For you are under grace and sin is no longer master over you.

But those works also include healing and divine health. You glorify Me in your body when you are walking in the shalom I have given you by the stripes of Jesus who bore your illness, disease and pain in His body freed you from those things. You do not glorify Me in your body if you are sick, weak, and dying prematurely. So what do you do? Faith speaks. Glory shouts. You tell the body part, the member of your body, that is being attacked with  pain, illness, infirmity, tumors, or disease to give Glory to God and stop whatever it is doing (name the pain, the illness, the tumor, the joint pain, the lumps, whatever I may be). You tell it “Give glory to God and cease that immediately!” For example, “Eyes, give glory to God and see clearly with the perfect sight you were created to operate in.” Or speak to your joints, “Give glory to God and arthritis cease and leave My body, joints give glory to God!” When a pain comes in your back, speak to your back, “Give glory to God and stop that!”

Your spirit and soul are housed in and depend upon your body to get around and do the good works I planned for you on earth. You are in a body and that is how you express yourself on earth. It starts in your spirit, moves to the soul, and comes out in the words you speak, your demeanor and countenance, and the works you do, actions you take.

To glorify Me in your body, every part of your body must give glory to Me by working perfectly as I planned and created it to be before sin entered the world, each doing it own part perfectly. For if any part of you is diseased and painful the whole body suffers. And the same is true of each of you as a member of the body of Christ, each individual member must be giving glory to Me by doing their special part assigned to them for the proper functioning of the whole.

I love you. I have already glorified you in Christ and He has given you His glory so we may be one in glory—your life glorifying Me and I in turn glorifying you in Jesus. You got it! For your glory comes from Me, but it becomes yours. I gave it to you before the world began for all My plans for your life were written before one of your days was yet. Do not throw away My glory as Adam and Eve did. It cost Me a great deal to get it back for you, every drop of My Son’s eternal blood. You have been bought at a price so glorify Me in your body. Do not accept sickness and pain and let it stay, that is giving glory to Satan who comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but I came to give you life, life in abundance. And sick people do not have that. Give glory to Me, let that be your purpose, to live for the praise of My glory in spirit, soul, and body!

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24.
