And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ But the father said to his slaves, ‘Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet; and bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate. Luke 15:21-24.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

You have got it! What? Another chance to live the great romance. The Song of Songs, the everlasting Covenant of Love. I am calling you back to Me.

I will call you back to Me from where you’ve gone astray. You who dwell in darkness now will see the light of day and the Light will lead you on, till I become your song! Return, return, I’ve forgiven you,  return, return, I make all things new! Return and I’ll restore things better than before.

Do not run away from Me, but call while I am near, turn your gaze upon Me now and know My ears will hear, and My love will lead you home, till you become My own. Return, return, I’ve forgiven you, return, return, I make all things new! Return and I’ll restore things better than before.

It is I who care for you, another will not do. Though you seek for idols now, the truth will come to you, and the truth will set you free, till you are safe with Me. Return, return, I’ve forgiven you, return, return, I make all things new! Return and I’ll restore things better than before.

I will draw your heart to Me with human cords of love. Chained and captive though you be, I raise you from above, and My arms will lift you high, so you will never die. Return, return, I’ve forgiven you, return, return, I make all things new! Return and I’ll restore things better than before.

In Christ, I have redeemed you from the curse of the law. I have given you new birth in Jesus in My imperishable Word. I have made you a new creation in Christ, and it is just as if sin had never been. I have given you another chance to be all I made you to be in Me.

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:21-24.

And it is not just one chance, it is as many as you need until you and I have finished working on the masterpiece of your life in this world until you are ready to walk right over into My Kingdom. Like Enoch, but it took him 300 years of walking with Me until he was ready to run into My arms forever.

Enoch lived sixty-five years, and became the father of Methuselah. Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him. Genesis 5:21-24.

When you get to the point where everything you do, you do with Me, that is, together in fellowship and reliance upon Me for the answers, the help, the strength, the love, the comfort, and the grace just in your time of need, it is then you come to know Me ready to walk home with Me if you want to come then or you can stay to do work useful to My Kingdom by bringing in souls to salvation in Jesus.

There comes a point in knowing Me, if you have desired My fellowship and sought out My Word because of your desire to read it, finding it valuable and delightful, that you know and make use of My constant help. It is a delightful place for both of us. You are NEVER without the help, wisdom, the backup, the forgiveness, the cleansing, and the power you need at each moment to have all furnished in abundance. And this is not based on perfect behavior but on your heart. I see your heart and that is how you open yourself to Me, in your heart.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:20-21.

And that is how close I am to you, right there with you knocking at your heart, and if you open to Me and My Son, we make our abode with you and you with us.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. John 14:23.

A new chance to live the great romance with all that divided us gone, cleansed and gone by the blood of My Son, where life becomes sweet, surrounded by love and compassion, beauty and splendor, healing and peace! I wait for you to turn and return to the shalom peace of My rest. To come home to be blest and to celebrate your freedom with Me from all that held you captive in the law of sin and death—freed by the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Where My Spirit is there is liberty.

But whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18.

And in that place of grace, there is now no condemnation, only righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, who comes to dwell in you by faith in My Son.

And all this is yours by faith in the Name of My Son, born again in Him, that is, in the birth canal of obedience to My Word rather than obedience to the devil’s lies, which birthed Adam from life to death, now births you back to Me from death to life.

This is the parable of the prodigal son that Jesus told you. The Father’s son despised him and only was out to take good things from the Father and then to walk away from his presence to be on his own. But his life went from lustful carousing with his father’s precious things to living among the pigs like whom he had become. But in his toil and lack of good things, he remembered his father’s house filled with good things, and he longed to return to abundance rather than lack. The place where all was supplied to him in the riches of his father. Jesus said that the wandering son came to himself and decided to return to his father. He came to himself, the true self that he was made to be—pure, blessed, and well taken care of by his loving father who had been so willing to trust him and give him all his inheritance. There was still time to return to his father’s embrace and loving providence.

And when he started towards his father, his father, who had been waiting and watching for him to return, saw the son’s change of heart from a long way off. And what did he do?

So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. Luke 15:20-24.

He was forgiven and the sin was gone and the celebration was on! The father clothed him in the garments of salvation and the robe of righteousness, the finest robe of all that no one can take from you, and gave him the Covenant ring of dominion over the works of father’s hands, and the footgear of the gospel of peace. And then the father sacrificed the calf, the sacrifice in the law I gave to Moses for the priests. He had been forgiven, redeemed, ransomed, cleansed and restored to his father’s house. There was cause of rejoicing there.

In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10.

The sin is gone and the party is on and it continues on in Heaven at the wedding banquet I give for My Son at which you are all honored guests at the head table with Me.

Just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom. Luke 22:29-30.

And the forgiving of the prodigal son and his cleansing of the filth he had acquired is not just a one time deal. It is forever that Jesus lives to make intercession for you and save you to the uttermost.

Much more then, having now been justified [a]by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:9-11.

My prophet Jonah ran from his call, his assignment, and his destiny, but in so doing he met with a storm in his life and landed in the depths of the sea, going down to the realm of death. But in that moment that could have ended it all, he called out to Me and sought to return to Me. I heard of course and answered in a great rescue mission. And Jonah obtained all again by his call filled with the voice of thanksgiving and not fear and despair.

“I called out of my distress to the LORD, and He answered me. I cried for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice . . . But You have brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God. While I was fainting away, I remembered the LORD, and my prayer came to You, into Your holy temple. Those who regard vain idols forsake their faithfulness, but I will sacrifice to You with the voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the LORD.” Jonah 2:2-9.

And the result? I put him right back where he should have been right outside Nineveh and My Word about his assignment came to him a second time. The second chance. And when needed I give you the third chance, the fourth chance, and the seventy times seven chance.

Then let him be gracious to him, and say, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’; Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, let him return to the days of his youthful vigor; then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, that he may see His face with joy, and He may restore His righteousness to man. He will sing to men and say, ‘I have sinned and perverted what is right, and it is not proper for me. He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, and my life shall see the light.’ Behold, God does all these oftentimes with men, to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life. Job 33:22-30.

My love is forever. I am committed to you. You are Mine. Come, come and walk with Me, beloved within My light, come, come and soar with Me, on the wings of the winds we’ll take flight. Your sin is gone, the party is on! And it is a forever event. Have you celebrated it with Me today? Today is good day to start to rejoice with Me in so great a salvation.
