“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew13:44.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Hidden treasure belongs to the saints. I give you treasures out of darkness.

“I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. Isaiah 45:3.

I rescue you from the domain of darkness and bring you into My own marvelous light, into the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, who is the light of the world in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3.

They are hidden from the worldly minded learned and clever but revealed to the merest children.

At that very time Jesus rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.” Luke 10:21-22.

They are hidden in Jesus, that is, they are hidden in My Word. My Words are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.

And Jesus would hide in parables the truths for the saints that the worldly minded would not discover. Why? Because the worldly would mock and dishonor them furthering the case against themselves for eternity. But I want to give all another chance to come receive salvation and not wrath.

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, ‘You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; for the heart of this people has become dull, with their ears they scarcely hear, and they have closed their eyes, otherwise they would see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return, and I would heal them.’ But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. Matthew 13:10-17.

What is Jesus addressing here? There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.” John 9:41.

These are the ones whom Satan has blinded their minds so that they look at holy things but do not see them as sacred and do not value or honor My Word as the priceless treasure that My Word is and how valuable it is in what My Word can do for you. My Word heals and delivers you. My Word is eternal life. My Word works wonders and My Word moves Heaven and earth and all of the vast universe. But the worldly, fleshly mind sees it as a waste of valuable time, they have far more important things to look at and do. It is hidden from them because they do not understand Scripture or My power so they scorn it. And this makes the last state of the man worse than the first. I am merciful by not entrusting them with things they will trample underfoot to their greater detriment.

“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. Matthew 7:6.

My Son told parables about what the Kingdom of Heaven is like and in one He likened it to treasure hidden in a field, “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew13:44.

In the field of the world, the treasure of My Kingdom is not readily seen, for Adam plunged the world into darkness and people grope around in the darkness of the curse Adam unleashed into the earth. I am speaking of things I hate that I call the curse, of which I will cleanse the world of when I create new heavens and a new earth to clean out all the devil has destroyed after Adam and Eve made him the “god” of his world. And people have continued in that error to enthrone him in their hearts and dethrone Me. I am speaking of poverty, sickness and pain, and eternal death. These things I call the curse, but I sent Jesus to redeem you from the curse and give you the Blessing of Abraham (righteousness by faith) and the promise of the Spirit through faith.

If you are intent to remain staring into the darkness it is hard for you to look into the light, but upon those who are seeking Me with their hearts and have brought their deeds out of the darkness into the Light, My glory shines.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2.

This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. John 3:19-22.

But back to the parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew13:44.

You may be wondering why when he found the treasure he hid it. The treasure you find is My Word, more about this as we continue this life lesson, and what do you do with My Word to keep it before you at all times so that you will not return to the life of sin? You hide it in your heart as treasure. “Your Word I have treasured (hidden) [the Hebrew word is tsaphan (צָפַן), which means to hide, treasure up] in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Psalm 119:11.

But to find a treasure you must be looking for it, for those who seek Me want for no good thing.

The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:10.

And that is the way your find hidden treasure, you seek Me. Seek first My Kingdom and My righteousness and everything else will be added to you, all you need for life and godliness for a fully satisfied life with an abundance for every good work. And there is a special way you seek Me to have yourself fully satisfied constantly:

Those who seek Him will praise the LORD. Let your heart live forever! Psalm 22:26.

I abide, sit, stay in the praises of My people. Psalm 22:3.

The way to treasure without measure is to seek Me first, to seek Me early, as your first quest of the day, as the primary goal of your life. Like the floor plan of the tabernacle of Moses.

But there is only one way to Me and that is how you must go to seek Me. Yes, your way, your truth and your life, your hidden treasure, the mystery of Him who is in you, the hope of your glory. Yes, Christ Jesus your Lord, your Light, your good Shepherd, your great High Priest and your new and living way.

Jesus is the only way to Me.

I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going.” Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14:3-6.

If you are seeking Me, you must go through Jesus, the way, the truth, the life, and the light of the world.

I raised Him from the dead by the blood of the eternal covenant as your good Shepherd to lead you to green pastures, bring you through dark valleys to the table of Covenant blessing to My house forever.

Finding hidden treasure in your day, is often finding revelation knowledge in your situation that shows you the solution you are looking for and confirms your hope. This is found in Jesus in whom are hidden ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do at exactly the right time.

In wisdom is the answer for your present need, i.e., doing the right thing at the right time for the benefit of all. Knowledge is the skill, expertise, and knowing the right way to go to get the maximum result that you are seeking.

You do not call in an electrician if you need the skills of a plumber and vice versa. Knowledge lets you know how to apply and not lose your gifts. Ask, seek and knock (A.S. K.).

A – Ask with confidence, receive with joy.

S – Seek with the heart, and find with hope and expectation.

K – Knock with persistence, and open with thanksgiving.

All done in faith, not sight. There is great peace and joy in believing. And your precious faith is a treasure beyond measure. For without faith is impossible to please Me. I reward those who seek Me, who are on a treasure hunt. Have no fear, just believe, and the treasure of My Word will come to pass.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.

You have no reason to come to My throne in fear and doubt. I have told you to come freely and receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. There is treasure at My throne hidden for you in the Holy of Holies in My secret place. My goodness will always give you the right answer. My mercy will always be your treasure. And My Word will give you both My goodness and My mercy, and above all My grace.

And you will note from the parable, finding My Kingdom in your daily life in the world is a joy, joy unspeakable full of glorious hidden treasure beyond all you can ask or imagine, making it seem like nothing to give everything to buy it.

And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8.

My servant Paul had an encounter in the spirit with the glory and treasure of the risen Christ and everything he had once so valued in the world became as nothing to give to purchase so great a treasure that is beyond price.

Many waters are not able to quench love, and floods do not wash it away. If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned. Song of Songs 8:7.

But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. ]for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith. Philippians 3:7-9.

I love you. I have given you treasure in the midst of the world, seek it early, seek it with praise, seek it with your heart, seek it with hope, and, above all, seek it with love. And you will find it and hide it in your heart. But your mouth speaks from your heart’s abundance and as your word so it is done to you.
