Light arises in the darkness for the upright. Psalm 112:4.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
The Blessing puts you in the Light. The spotlight.
Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding forth and holding fast the Word of life. Philippians 2:14-16.
Let your Light shine before men so that they may see My light in you—the radiance of My glory. My blessing makes you radiant with revelation light. The world is a dark place if you let it be but you can drive out the darkness with the light. If you are experiencing darkness it is time you answered My call, for I have called you out of darkness into My own marvelous light.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10.
I Myself have qualified you for the inheritance of the saints in light.
I blessed Abraham to be a blessing, and through Jesus’ death and resurrection you have the Blessing of Abraham. So you are blessed to be a blessing. All the families of the earth will be blessed by your life. Your life before Me, once you are in Christ, is the life of a great one. You are lifted from the ash heap left by your sins as in the burnt offering to be seated with the Prince of Peace, who is your burnt offering.
You are children of light and not of the darkness. Darkness and light have nothing in common. so live as children of the Light. Walk in the light of My love. I am love and I am light. And I have given you the Light. The Light of the world and no follower of His shall ever walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.
A people walking in darkness have seen a great light. And that was Jesus but now Jesus is in you. God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. Hebrews 1:1-3.
Be the radiance of My glory wherever you are for that is now who you are in Christ, a people to the praise of My glory as wrought in you by the perfect work of Christ. You are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Heaven. Blessed in the light of the truth of the gospel.
People do things in the darkness they would never do in the light. They say things under cover that they would never broadcast in the light. But what you must understand, you who have been born again by receiving the Light of the world, Jesus, as your Lord and Savior, that you are never in the dark before Me. And you must never be in the dark. In the presence of the drawn of your rising the darkness must flee. Be firm about this. Darkness is no longer your companion. I rescued you from the realm of darkness and translated you to the Kingdom of My Beloved Son, the Kingdom of light. There is no darkness in My Kingdom. And no follower of Mine should be living in darkness even now.
All is open and all you do should be done in Me, whether you are in private or public, alone, with only one other or a small group, or before a multitude. You are no longer in the dark. Those days for you are gone.
Whether you eat or drink, whether you wake or sleep, when you work, when you relax, when you read, when you speak, wherever you go—all should be done in the Light– for glory, for beauty, for good.
The light of My face is shining upon you. Arise and shine for your light has come, and My glory has risen upon you. Darkness right now is covering the earth, deep darkness is in many people’s lives, but upon you, like the Israelites in Goshen when the Egyptians were plunged into the plague of deep darkness, light is shining. They had light in their dwellings. And you have the Light of the world in you. Let your light shine before men so that they may see My glory, which is the manifestation of My goodness, My presence and My power, in you.
Be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. Before you make a hasty judgment or give a rude or sarcastic answer, look to the Light, and let that Light shine in, let the glory win, and remove the darkness and sin. Speak the truth in love—gently but firmly, kindly and graciously, but never compromise or back down from the truth. My Word is truth and the entrance of My Word gives light.
For the fruit of Light is all goodness, righteousness and truth. Ephesians 5:9. Be careful how you live. Never allow the darkness to creep back in and put you in fear and doubt, hopelessness and depression. A child of light has no business with the things of the devil.
So how do you keep yourself from slipping into the pit of darkness? You stay in the Light if you remain in My Word and it remains in you. For My Word is a light to your path and a lamp unto your feet. My Word is filled with the light of truth and the light of life. My Words are spirit and life. The light of My Word will give you revelation. It will give you knowledge of My Will, which is good, pleasing, and perfect for you since I prepared a different life for each of you, you will not be fulfilled except in doing My Will in your life. Jonah ran into a lot of problems when he tried not to do My Will, but when he got on track and did My Will he turned out to be the most successful preacher—no one else ever converted an entire evil city into a repentant and fruitful place as quickly as Noah did. I had given him great talent and skill in that area. It was his calling.
And My Word will fill you with knowledge of My will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the high calling to which I have called you in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of what you are to do in every situation; strengthened with all power, according to My glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks for I have qualified you to share in the inheritance of the My people in Light. Colossians 1:9-12.
You may be thinking it is hard to be a person of light in the darkness of your circumstances, but I have rescued you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of My beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. And His kingdom is a kingdom of Light. In Heaven there is no need of sun or moon for the light is My Glory and the lamp is the Lamb.
Please understand what I am telling you. It is My desire that you always shine, wherever you are. Everyone should see your joy, your peace, and your gracious speech. You should speak those things that build up and encourage people, not that tear them down and make them feel inadequate and unloved. There is a way to give correction that is not received as rejection by the person you are correcting.
Jesus gives you the perfect example of this. When the woman at the well gave him the misleading answer that she had no husband, but she did not reveal she was living with a man who was not her husband, Jesus turned his answer into a compliment while it still revealed her sin: “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.” John 4:17-18. This attracted her into further conversation that led to the revelation that the Messiah that was to come was actually before her and had sought her out to speak with her! John 4:25-26. It changed her life. He was not harsh with her but he led her to repentance. A bruised reed, He did not crush, a smoldering wick, He did not quench. He is gentle and humble of heart. And yet, He never backed down from the truth nor compromised. Learn from Him. He is the Light for you to follow.
Never be rude, obscene or offensive in your speech. Gossip too should not be in your mouth. You are My children, My royal priesthood, and I give you the grace to live godly. It is there for you. Just keep My Word in your heart and you will not sin against Me. When you are angry, turn to Me and seek the grace to answer firmly, gently and graciously. I will supply all your needs according to My riches in Christ Jesus in glory. I pour My love in your heart by My gift of the Holy Spirit. If you walk in the spirit you will not give in to the desires of the flesh. This takes diligent effort on your part, but you can do all things with My strength and I have given you that to you in Christ. I have given you My joy and that is your strength. Joy and darkness are not compatible with each other. Joy will drive out darkness very quickly.
Stop behaving like an infant and grow on the milk, meat, and honey of My Word. It is time you stepped up and grabbed hold of the life that is life indeed, the abundant life of light My Son gives you. It is yours in Him, you have only to seek it out. And when you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me right there with you, both to equip you, to strengthen you, to help you, and to will and work in you that which is pleasing and perfect.
But this takes determination. And you have that, for I have not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love and self-control. Be filled with the Holy Spirit and you will not go astray. And how to you get filled? My apostle Paul knew. My servant David knew. Mary knew. And you should know too for I set it forth for you: “Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father.” Ephesians 5:15-20.
The more time you spend in worship (prayer and praise), the more you will move up to the level of Spirit-filled living. Keep a melody going in your heart all day. I will hear and I will bless you and you will be a blessing.
Worship is a lifestyle. You can do it all day and all night. It is an attitude of the heart, a hearing heart and a singing heart. It is a grateful heart. And it is a heart obedient to My Word. It is a heart filled with light alone.
I love you. Be imitators of Me as My dear children and walk in love and light. All should know you as My children by your love for one another. Love never fails. And the wonderful thing is that living in the Light, and living in Love, you will have joy, joy unspeakable filled with glory. It is so much better living free from anger, bitterness, jealousy, offense, and fear, you will enter My rest and that is where true life, the life that is life indeed, begins. I know because I live it forever, and so can you. There is fullness of joy in the light of My presence. Come share My joy!
