So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. Galatians 6:10.

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:

Opportunities. How do you see the events and encounters in your day? I want you to be very aware of opportunities to show My love. These are opportunities for promotion—present and eternal.

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. Colossians 4:5-6.

Jesus was very busy, always at work and so am I, but He was never too busy to stop at a cry of faith or when He saw a need for My love.

Remember the widow at Naim? There was the funeral procession coming out of Naim when Jesus was entering that city. When He saw the grief and the need of the bereft mother as well the cutting short of her son’s assignment in life, He stopped His journey and reached out to return the young man to his mother raised from the dead.

And think of His pressing journey to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover but by the roadside a blind beggar named Bartimaeus cried out in faith for mercy and Jesus took the opportunity to heal him and give him a whole new life as He followed Jesus up the road. And then, alongside the same road, He was stopped in his journey by Zacchaeus, a lost soul, climbing up in a tree to see Him. And Jesus went and spent the day at his house. And he, like Bartimaeus, was saved and blessed beyond all he could ask for or imagine.

And think about Jesus walking by the Jordan after being baptized, and along the roadside were John and Andrew, who followed Him when John the Baptist pointed Him out as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. And they stayed with Him for the afternoon and that resulted in not only Andrew and John becoming disciples but also Peter, James, Philip and Nathaniel.

And think about the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years who came along the roadside and arrested Jesus in His tracks by her faith as He was going quickly to Jairus’ home to heal his daughter and raise her from the dead. Jesus stopped and took the time to minister to her so that she would go in peace totally healed and whole.

Jairus had also encountered Jesus along the roadside and taken Him off His journey to come to his home where his daughter laid at the point of death. And all were blessed with My love and care through Jesus, My beloved Son as He raised the girl from the dead and gave her back to her parents.

And consider the Samaritan woman by the well, Jesus said He had to take that road that day. Why? I saw that the heart of the Samaritan woman and I sent Jesus to share My love with her so she could find what her heart was seeking. She was never the same again by one encounter when their paths met along the way. And she became a witness to her entire town.

And think about the five loaves and two fish to feed a hungry crowd of well over five thousand. Jesus saw the need and He looked up to Me, blessed what was in His hands, and thanked Me and the impossible became possible. He seized the opportunity and all were blessed by My love.

I am also the same way. Wherever you are I hear your cries and I know your tears and I come to save you, even now I send Jesus through His body on earth. I sent Ananias to Paul, I sent Peter to Cornelius, I sent Paul to Lydia, and now I send believers to you and then you out to others who need to know My love so they too, like the Samaritan woman can become believers filled with joy and bring others to the good news of salvation as well.

Do not put off for tomorrow the good you can do each day.

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it,” when you have it with you. Proverbs 3:27-28.

And this applies to your own receiving from Me as well. I am with you and in you always and My Spirit quickens your mortal body and lights your Spirit with My flame of eternal love and life. You have healing power in you and on you. If you are suffering, do not put your healing off as something you will get in the future, “NOW faith is” and Jesus is walking with you NOW. He did not tell people to wait, He healed them right on the spot provided they had the faith to expect and connect.

The same with finances and provision. Do not see prosperity as coming “some day,” see it as NOW and receive it by letting Me prosper the work of your hands and give you creative ideas, promotion, and favor.

Do not turn down opportunities, they are all around you, spiritually and physically.

But be aware, for it takes discernment here, that not all opportunities are from Me. You should turn down those that are not from Me and would encumber your race to the high calling I have given you in Christ. The devil offered Jesus opportunities to enrichment and fame, but Jesus turned them down. Why? They were not of Me nor in line with My Word. The opportunities the devil gave Jesus, indeed that he gives you and everyone who will listen, are always an appeal to your pride, your own glory, your own lust and greed, but they do not benefit others, in fact they harm them and you. They are done apart from Me. Apart from the vine on which you bear good fruit.

In the Book of Proverbs I warn you about opportunities not to take, and not only not to take but to flee from them, and I tell you of opportunities that you should take, and not only that you should take but that you should seek. And it all has to do with Wisdom, the Spirit of Wisdom, about which opportunities you will answer along the pathway of your life.

Does not wisdom call, and understanding lift up her voice? On top of the heights beside the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gates, at the opening to the city, at the entrance of the doors, she cries out: “To you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of men. O naive ones, understand prudence; and, O fools, understand wisdom.” Proverbs 8:1-5.

Wisdom is there for you at all the crossroads and intersections of your life, to guide you in the prudent path, to take the opportunities I give you and to turn down the opportunities the devil gives you.

And if you learn to listen to My voice in your spirit, wisdom is not quiet. You can hear wisdom over a noisy crowd of conflicting voices. You will be able to discern the way to go if you learn to lean on Me and follow the lead of My Spirit. In Jesus are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, put your roots deep in Him and draw up all you need from in Him.

Wisdom shouts in the street, she lifts her voice in the square; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the gates in the city she utters her saying: “How long, O naive ones, will you love being simple-minded? And scoffers delight themselves in scoffing and fools hate knowledge? Turn to my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Proverbs 1:20-23.

The seven eyes of the Spirit and of Jesus, the counselors that go to and fro across the earth: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, of counsel and fortitude (strength), of knowledge and fear of the LORD, and delight in the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:1-3. All are yours in Christ Jesus your Lord and they are all gifts of the Spirit in you and on you.

You are not alone on the pathway of life. I have given you your good Shepherd, My Holy Spirit and all the gifts, fruit, and counselors that go with Him. And I have given command to My angels to guard you in all of your ways.

Above all I want you to have a prosperous, healthy and happy journey until you walk right over the light line into eternity with Me and then the journey only gets better from glory to glory. For you know even as you are known. What a wonderful life I have prepared for you, now and forever. Walk it out with Me and do not miss one precious opportunity to share My love.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10.

I love you. Be on the alert for the opportunities I put in your path. Do not be so intent on your own agenda that you miss them or see them as irritations. You should not waste any of your precious time but redeem it all for the days are evil. The devil will work hard to distract you off of your path and steal your opportunities by offering you other ones that keep you very busy about the wrong things and keep you from stopping at the roadside for your rewards. Do not let Him steal your rewards, you want them all in  full beginning now. Do not let him take your inheritance when Christ went through so much to make sure it is yours in Him, joint heirs of Mine with Jesus. And I have given Him everything. Everything is yours, share it, there is plenty more, the Kingdom never runs out.
