The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; but they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. Psalm 34:10.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Cast all your cares on Me because I care for you. I take delight in the prosperity of My people. I have told you My plan from the beginning: I blessed you to bear much fruit. I want you to have a fruitful, happy life filled with abundance until it overflows lacking in no good thing!
How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, you will be happy and it will be well with you. Psalm 128:1-2.
So if you have been accepting and living in lack, in the place of not enough, you need to cast the care of provision on Me and I will show you how to profit and the way you should go.
“I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, and our righteousness like the waves of the sea. Isaiah 48:18.
To prosper and always have provision you must listen to what I am telling you to do. You will find this to be the answer in every miracle of provision, well actually in every miracle. Even when they ran out of wine, My dear Mary’s advice was simple, but totally explains how to have your miracle, “Do whatever He tells you.” And that was the way she lived too, by My Word. “Be it done according to your Word to me.” And that should be your attitude to too.
Now it shall be, if you diligently listen to and obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you listen to and obey the voice of the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 28:1-2.
And all the blessings I list as I spoke to the Israelites that day about the blessings of obedience were blessings of provision, prosperity, and a healthy, happy life for them and their descendants after them.
The LORD will command the blessing upon you in your barns and in all that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways. So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will be afraid of you. Deuteronomy 28:8-10.
My servant David understood. He sang of the blessings of knowing and keeping My Words, which he called sweeter than honey dripping from the comb and better than a heap of the finest gold. He had learned there was great reward in keeping My Words. They made him wiser than any of his teachers or elders because he meditated on My Words day and night. He was eager to hear and do My Word! My Words took him from watching his father’s few sheep hidden away in the fields of Bethlehem, considered the least in his father’s house, to being the king and shepherd of My people Israel living in a beautiful palace in the City of David with all his enemies under his feet.
My Word is full of miracles of provision just on time at the right time. You will read of Manna each day on the dewfall coming down from Heaven, a perfect food that no one had ever known before or since. I flew in quail and made water gush out of rocks for My people as I led them through the wilderness to the land I had promised them—a land flowing with milk and honey where I would give them beautiful cities they did not build, houses they did not build or furnish filled with good things, and vineyards they did not plant, wells they did not dig, and fruit trees they did not plant. All prepared in advance for them to enjoy just because of the faith of their father Abraham in My Word. And their faith as well. For when they left Egypt they did just as I told them to do, the Passover Lamb and the asking of their neighbors for their jewels, gold, silver, and fine materials. And when they obeyed what seemed foolish since they appeared to be powerless, poor slaves they became a people with whom to be reckoned for I took over and fought for them.
With Me with them they were protected, healthy, blessed, and bearing much fruit. They, who had only been working in mortar and brick and all the heavy work of slaves, became craftsmen of intricate designs in the setting of precious gemstones and the works of artistic design in My tabernacle.
And so began their miraculous journey through the wilderness from Egypt to the promised land. And at first, they sang and rejoiced, but soon they became impatient, bitter, jealous of the leadership of Moses and ready to harm each other out of selfish ambition. And this changed them from kings and priests to the mentality of slaves again, so much so, that when I got them all the way to the Promised Land and told them to go in, it was amazing, but they would not. Disobedience does not bring you the Blessing. It brings in Satan who only comes to steal, kill, and destroy your extraordinary destiny.
The Israelites did not enter because of their unbelief. They fed it by complaining and grumbling. If you are never appreciative of what you have and treat it as worthless then that is what it becomes to you and that is what you become as well. Worthless and unfruitful.
They did not trust Me to take care of them. But you should know Me better. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. Do you value and appreciate that? Do you seek first My Kingdom and My righteousness so that everything is added to you besides? Or do you treat it as nothing and trample it underfoot, like pigs with pearls as they wallow in the mire?
My Words should be your greatest treasure for they show you how to profit and the way that should go. My Words are life to those who find them and health (healing) to all their flesh. For I sent My Word to heal you and deliver you from all your destructions. Provision, healing, deliverance, and all that pertains to life eternal is in My Word. Do you value and treasure My Words to you? Do you treat them with awe and wonder? For My Word alone will give you salvation in every area of your life. My Words are spirit and life. They are your life.
I give you many ways to assure your provision and prosperity. Being born again of imperishable seed gives you access to all My Kingdom as My child and heir, a joint heir with Christ and as the first born of many brethren you are his joint heirs. I give you the opportunity to tithe and give offerings in obedience to My Word so that the work of the church is accomplished and you are enriched and blessed, for consecrating the first fruits to Me assures the consecration of all you put your hand to. When you tithe and give offerings, I rebuke the devourer and destroyer from taking the fruit of your labor, your goods, your family, your health, and indeed your very life and those of your loved ones. When you tithe you put all you have under My jurisdiction. When you do not tithe you put all you have under the jurisdiction of Satan.
And when you need provision immediately and come boldly to My throne with faith and cast that care on Me, I give you swift provision. Jesus lifted up five loaves and two fish, blessed them (consecrated them into My jurisdiction), and thanked Me and they multiplied to feed over 5,000 people with twelve baskets full left over. Super abundance from seemingly nothing.
A widow who only had a little bit of oil in a small jar came to the prophet for an answer from Me and I gave it to her. It seemed that it would not possibly do what she needed but she obeyed and her little bit of oil filled container after container until every container she borrowed in obedience to My Word was full. And then she followed My direction to sell the oil and made such a profit that she and her sons lived on it for many years. I made her a business woman in a few hours making a profit that would have taken many years without divine acceleration.
And now let us talk about a 24 hour miracle of Mine with My prophet Elisha that took a starving city under siege about to be forced into surrender to the enemy or die from total lack and defeat to abundance beyond all they could have asked or imagined and astounding victory with no effort on their part at all because of My Word that My prophet released by faith into the world.
The city of Samaria was under siege for Ben-hadad king of Aram gathered all his army and went up and besieged it and after a period of time there was no food at all in the city and if someone manage to bring some food in it sold for such an exorbitant price that on one could buy it.
The king of Israel blamed Elisha for this because when the king of Aram had sent his forces to take Elisha captive and kill him, Elisha had spoken to Me to blind them, which I did, and then he led them back to Samaria gave them back their sight, set a banquet before them and sent them home. Well, much later, the king of Aram came back again and put the city of Samaria under siege. He had a large and powerful army and they brought a surplus of supplies with them to share amongst themselves while they starved out Samaria.
So the king went looking for Elisha to take revenge on him. But I spoke to Elisha before the king arrived at his home and gave him a Word for the king and the starving people locked in the walls of the city of Samaria. So when the king and his attendant arrived Elisha was ready. He prophesied that within 24 hours the food would be so abundant in Samaria that it would sell for next to nothing.
Then Elisha said, “Listen to the word of the LORD; thus says the LORD, ‘Tomorrow about this time a measure of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’” 2 Kings 7:1.
This seemed impossible to the royal office who came with the king upon whose hand the king was leaning. And he answered Elisha with scorn: “Behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” Then Elisha said, “Behold, you will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat of it.” 2 Kings 7:1-2.
Do not sit in the seat of scoffers, they do not inherit the promises they mock.
So how did this prophecy get fulfilled? Can you think of how to turn around a besieged city surrounded by the enemy that cut off their food and water supply having abundance of all good this within 24 hours when nothing seemed to have changed? Nothing is too hard for Me and all things are possible to those who believe that. Not scoffers, not doubters, but believers have miracles. And I used four very weak outcasts to reveal this miracle to first. I use the weak things of the world to confound the proud.
Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate to Samaria; and they said to one another, “Why do we sit here until we die? If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ then the famine is in the city and we will die there; and if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us go over to the camp of the Arameans. If they spare us, we will live; and if they kill us, we will but die.” They arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Arameans; when they came to the outskirts of the camp of the Arameans, behold, there was no one there. 2 Kings 7:3-5.
Where had all the enemy gone? The Word Elisha released into the earth was enough to move out an entire army for it gave Me authority to come into the earth and rout them. I do nothing without first revealing it to My prophets. Why? I need them to set that Word in motion into the earth so I can watch over My Word to perform it.
For the LORD had caused the army of the Arameans to hear a sound of chariots and a sound of horses, even the sound of a great army, so that they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.” Therefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents and their horses and their donkeys, even the camp just as it was, and fled for their life. 2 Kings 7:6-7.
Fear of what was not even true routed an entire army, making them leave in such haste that they left all their supplies and tents behind. Be careful not to be trapped by fear, it can ruin your life and take away all that you own.
When these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they entered one tent and ate and drank, and carried from there silver and gold and clothes, and went and hid them; and they returned and entered another tent and carried from there also, and went and hid them. Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, but we are keeping silent; if we wait until morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come, let us go and tell the king’s household.” So they came and called to the gatekeepers of the city, and they told them, saying, “We came to the camp of the Arameans, and behold, there was no one there, nor the voice of man, only the horses tied and the donkeys tied, and the tents just as they were.” The gatekeepers called and told it within the king’s household. Then the king arose in the night and said to his servants, “I will now tell you what the Arameans have done to us. They know that we are hungry; therefore they have gone from the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we will capture them alive and get into the city.’” One of his servants said, “Please, let some men take five of the horses which remain, which are left [e]in the city. Behold, they will be in any case like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it; behold, they will be in any case like all the multitude of Israel who have already perished, so let us send and see.” They took therefore two chariots with horses, and the king sent after the army of the Arameans, saying, “Go and see.” 2 Kings 7:8-14.
Even though the king had just heard the prophecy of Elisha he did not at first make the connection. He did not notice Me at work but just thought it was a battle trap that they were to fall into. Do not conjure up dire circumstances that do not even exist and trap yourself in them and let them keep you from enjoying the good things I do for you.
They went after them to the Jordan, and behold, all the way was full of clothes and equipment which the Arameans had thrown away in their haste. Then the messengers returned and told the king. So the people went out and plundered the camp of the Arameans. Then a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD. Now the king appointed the royal officer on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate; but the people trampled on him at the gate, and he died just as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him. It happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two measures of barley for a shekel and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, will be sold tomorrow about this time at the gate of Samaria.” Then the royal officer answered the man of God and said, “Now behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he said, “Behold, you will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat of it.” And so it happened to him, for the people trampled on him at the gate and he died. 2 Kings 7: 15-20.
It is in listening to and obeying My Word with faith that will put you right in the middle of a life filled with the impossible. And how do you and I know that you are in faith, and for that matter, how does the devil know you are in faith? If you have joy in the midst of the problem because you know with Me there are no problems, only solutions to take the problems to a happy result. Faith always reveals itself in joy, for if you really believe that in 24 hours or less all will be well you will rejoice. Faith is NOW. Hebrews 11:1.
I love you. All good things come from My Word and they come to you when they are released as you say and do My Word. Like Mary, “do whatever He tells you.” And then astounding things will happen and all My blessings will overwhelm you.
