I waited patiently for the LORD; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD.  Psalm 40:1-3

Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says

The path of life is a path of song—joyful songs.

And the ransomed of the LORD will return and come with joyful singing to Zion, with everlasting joy upon their heads. They will find gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10.

If you want a joyful life, start each day with a song in your heart. Wake the dawn with YOUR song.

My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will give thanks to You, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. Psalm 57:7-9.

Sing and make melody to Me in your heart and you will be worshipping in spirit and truth.  Ephesians 5:19. I like a new song.  Psalm 33:3; Psalm 96:1; Psalm 98:1; Psalm 144:9. I like songs from the heart.  These are the ones that move Heaven and earth.

I work to music. I orchestrate things.  Life is like a symphony, many parts weaving in and out but one plan, one purpose. And what is that? Eternal life with Me in the beauty of holiness. A family of beautiful song.

Everyone and everything in Heaven sings.  In Heaven the flowers sing and the stones cry out with joy.  Joy makes you sing.  When you are happy it flows out in song.

Children hum and sing as they play.  Have you noticed?

Is anyone happy?  Let them sing a song of praise.  James 5:13.

Sing a new song to Me.  From the islands, from the farthest ends of the earth, let songs rise to Me.  Isaiah 42:10.

One indication that you are filled with the Holy Spirit is that you overflow with song.

Victory causes you to sing.  Songs of victory.  Songs of deliverance.  These should be in your hearts, in your mouths.

People in love serenade each other.  Love makes them sing.  I sing over you joyfully as one sings at festivals.  Zephaniah 3:17. I am love. When you start singing to Me, I know you are in love with Me.  It comes.

In your church services you have choirs and music.  Moses did.  David did.  I instructed them to do so.  Spend some of your prayer time in song.  It will lift you up to higher realms. And it will give Me a place to dwell with you, I dwell on the praises of My people. Why? It is there that hearts are open to Me.

Many of you pray but very few sing, when you start singing, I know My Word has done a wonderful work in you.

Let my lips utter praise, for You teach me Your statutes. Let my tongue sing of Your Word, for all Your commandments are righteousness. Psalm 119:171-172.

Be careful what you sing though. It must be My Word to build you up.  Do not sing the sad songs of the world, sing My Word, sing the songs of the heavenly Zion.  My Word is sweet.  The world sings songs of defeat and pain.  I sing songs of victory.  A shout of joy in the tents of the just!

For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with songs and shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD. Psalm 27:5-6.

And you will note there is one book in the Bible that is entirely a song.  It is My Song to you and it is the Song of Songs, a love song, where you are the beloved I seek.

Will you sing back to Me?  My sheep hear My voice and I hear you.  Call to Me, I will answer you.

Make melody in your hearts and it will sweeten your day.  Fill your life with song.  The song of the dove is heard in the land.  Song of Songs 2:12. The winter is over and gone.  In the clefts of the rock, in the recesses of your heart, let Me hear your voice, let Me see your face.  Song of Songs 2:14. In the secret place I surround you with songs of deliverance.

You are my secret place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. Psalm 32:7.

People tend to sing when they are drunk.  Being filled with the Holy Spirit is better than wine and you will sing. And you will sing spiritual songs in the Spirit. Tongues.

Sing a new song to Me.  Your own song.  But use My Words.  David set the psalms he wrote to music and they are still blessing you today.  He began that on the hills as a young lad shepherding his father’s sheep in Bethlehem in the same fields where the angels later sang at Jesus’ birth.  And David never stopped singing to Me.  He composed songs to Me in caves as he hid from Saul.  He composed songs to me later when he sat on his throne in the City of David.  In good times and in times of trial and pain he sang to Me.  He directed the Levites to sing before Me night and day in My courts.  He was a man after My own heart.  I sing.

And Solomon did the same when he built the glorious Temple to My Name.

Let Me open the windows of Heaven for you and you will hear the songs we sing.  Sing the songs of Heaven on earth.  They will not return void but will achieve the purpose for which I sent them.

You enter My gates with thanksgiving and My courts with hymns of praise. If you want to be close to Me in prayer, start with a song. It will put you right in the throne room of Heaven.

Did you know you can sing your way to victory?  That is the way Jehoshaphat and his armies won over the enemy.  That was My battle plan of deliverance.  He sent out the choir at the head of the army singing of My love and faithfulness and they did not even need to lift a finger in battle and they won.  2 Chronicles 20:20-24.  I gave them victory.  You can do the same.  Paul knew this.  He sang hymns of praise in prison in double chains at midnight and it shook the jailhouse!  Acts 16:25.  It freed him and saved everyone there.  And Jesus did the same, He and His disciples sang hymns of praise at the Last Supper just before He entered his trial in Gethsemane.  Matthew 26:30.  And on the Cross, Jesus was speaking Psalm 22. Mark 15:34.  Look at what singing to Me in your hour of defeat can do!  It can turn it into victory and deliverance!

Do not fret and fume over things.  Sing to Me.  Sing songs of deliverance.  Out of the depths of the swamp, sing, and I will pull you out and put your feet on the height and give you a new song.  Psalm 40:1-3.  And it will not be a song of despair and defeat!  It will be a sweet song of victory.

So wake up each morning to music and a song in your heart.  My mercies are new every morning.  Lamentations 3:22-23.  And keep up the songs in your heart all day long.  It will make you strong.  It will make your life sweet.

My joy is your strength and joy sings.

“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2.

You will find three witnesses in My Word that I AM your strength and your song. And the result? I become your salvation. Moses sang it, Exodus 15:2, in the first song shared in the Bible, David sang it in Psalm 118:14, and Isaiah sang it. Isaiah 12:2. Songs of praise are your strength for it is then My power and salvation flow. I am your strength and song, but your life is My song. I sang of you even before I formed you in your mother’s womb. And here I want you to see this from another viewpoint too. Mine. I am the composer and divine conductor of the song that is the story of your life. The choir director of Psalm 139.

I have a wonderful life of good deeds prepared in advance for each one of you. Ephesians 2:10. It is the symphony of your life and it has no end. The orchestration of your life was planned before you were born and it all begins with the breath I breath into your nostrils as the first downbeat and then you are in the world to be shaped and sustained by Me. Genesis 2:7; Job 33:4, Isaiah 42:5; Acts 17:25. I am the Divine Conductor and I know the score for your life, for I envisioned it, composed it and I notated it all down, with the melody, all the instrumental parts and the lyrics, before you were born. Isaiah 49:5; Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139:16-18 (this Psalm was written for the Choir Director). The story of you and all the lives you would touch and all the lives that would touch you. A tapestry of color and texture woven in song. Psalm 139:13. And I am watching over My Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12.

I formed you in your mother’s womb and even before that I knew you and consecrated you. Jeremiah 1:5. Your music was born in My mind as My dream for your life from eternity past and will continue the song throughout eternity. It has no end, only different seasons, from glory to glory.

And the best conductor of a musical score is the composer, for he alone knows his inner vision and has the passion and the energy which impels others into the vision to imagine and live it on their own in response to the energy conveyed by him from his center core through his hands to propel the sound on and evoke a response from those who have their eyes upon him to join the song.

I am the best conductor for the score of your life. It is formed from My heart and the energy of My love and the power of My Spirit from My hands, My mighty outstretched hand. My outstretched hand parted the Red Sea and directed the Israelites to deliverance and it smote the Egyptians who tried to destroy them. By the work of My hands the heavens were made and by the breath of My mouth their hosts. And when I created the universe all the morning stars sang for joy. Job 38:7. I guide you by My hand and by My eye upon you, just as a conductor guides the singers and orchestra, but you must keep your eyes on Me or you will not make a proper response to propel the sound into your life.

My hand feeds you and provides all your needs. I open My hand and My creatures are satisfied with good. Psalm 104:28. You are shaped and sustained by My hand, just as a conductor sustains and shapes the note for his choir.

And just as the conductor’s preparatory position is now considered best for the choir to be holding the hands and arms as ready to embrace, calling the singers in, so I too stand that way calling you to come to Me, you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you. Matthew 11:28-30. My arms are open to embrace you as Jesus did the little children.

And I lead you by the Holy Spirit, the power from on High, that puts fire in your hearts. And the Spirit can be imparted to others by the laying of the hands of those who are filled. Conductors.

Jesus healed with the power in His hands, the energy of the Most High.

And I conduct a beautiful song that is yours to sing. I pull you out of the mud of the pit and place your feet on a height and I put a new song into your month of joyful loving praise. Your song from and for eternity, old yet always new.

I rejoice over you with joyful singing as one does at festivals. Zephaniah 3:17. Will you not join Me in the song of your life? And sometimes I must surround you with songs of deliverance. When I raise My hands sing with Me. Enter your song. Do you not hear the songs in the night?

And like My Song of Songs, My song for you is a love song. So come aside to the secret place of the ascent and let Me hear your voice and see your face, for your voice is sweet and you are lovely. Song of Songs 2:14.

The song of the dove is heard in your land. Song of Songs 2:12. And that song is for you. To lead you to My holy mountain and the altar of gladness and joy.

And when I redeemed My people from the slavery of Egypt, I led them out with joyful singing. Psalm 105:43. Their song, but I have one for you.

And your response to My invitation should be to sing the song as I conduct. I will speak to you in your valley of trouble and open a door of hope and you will sing there as you did in your youth.

In Heaven, the energy of love flowing from Me as its source evokes worship expressed by singing and all are singing the same words in unison. The song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. The Passover lamb slain and Moses with his staff and My strong hand led My people out of slavery and redeemed them that holy night when they fled Egypt and their response was to sing a song composed by Moses. And in Heaven they are still singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. Revelation 15:3.

I will put My Words in your mouth and cover you with the shadow of My Hand. And I formed all things by My Word and that Word never fades or perishes. No song of Mine ever dies but lives on as the story of your life and new melodies and instruments are introduced, but all prepared in advance.

I love you. Put your eyes on Me and when I raise My hands begin to sing on the downbeat and the rebound will be shaped and sustained and echo around the world and in heaven too. But you must sing the song of your life with Me as I conduct. And remember I am the one who composed it, not you, but you must walk it out or the song will not be heard in the world, not even by you. Listen. Look. And wait. And when you hear Me take the breath in, get ready to go as I exhale and My raised hands come down to sing the first note. And it is great if you have some faithful friends to sing with you and cheer you on. It is your song so you will enjoy it and it will fit you perfectly. Your path of life is a path of joyful singing. Let us make it a duet. Never sing alone. Sing with Me in the Spirit.
