My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. John 10:27-28.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
How can you live strong and courageous at all times? Even in the darkest valleys and floods of trouble? Even when you feel weak and insecure? The answer is simple but opens a whole new lifestyle to you if you have been feeling on your own and fearful: I hold you in My hand.
If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me. Psalm 139:9-10.
It is time you gave a long sigh of relief and enjoyed resting in My strong right hand. After all, I have seated you at My right hand in Christ, and, actually, He is on the throne with Me, in the very center and you are there in your spirit as well.
Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself. Psalm 80:17.
You can rest there in My secret place, in the shadow of My hand, and I surround you with songs of deliverance.
You are my secret place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7.
You have nothing to fear, when you place yourself in My hands, the evil one cannot touch you.
We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God, God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18.
Jesus put His Spirit in My hands and by that same Spirit, I raised Him from the dead to be your great good Shepherd. And what does He assure you of if you have received Him as your Lord and Savior? That He is your good Shepherd who laid His life down for you only to take it up again and you up with Him. The hand of the Shepherd guides, rescues, feeds, and cares for the health and well-being of his sheep. And Jesus gives you eternal life, abundant overflowing life. I have put you in His hand and in His hand you are in Mine.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 14:27-30.
Once you are in Jesus, you are in Me, and we are united in Covenant through your Covenant with Him and My Covenant with Him. I am your refuge and your fortress, your stronghold, and your deliverer. This all has to do with holding you in My hand and holding you by the hand.
Your right hand, O LORD, is majestic in power, Your right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy. Exodus 15:6.
You can entrust your life into My hands and that is the place of perfect protection, strength, provision and shalom peace. There you can be confident, bold, strong, and courageous, for the solution is in My hand.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. 1 Chronicles 29:11-13.
Everything is in My hand. You are all the work of My hands.
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. Isaiah 65:8.
If you cling to Me, I will never let go of your hand and I will lift you high above the snares of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
The steps of a man are established by the LORD, and He delights in his way. When he falls, he will not be hurled headlong, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24.
I am always there, guarding you and holding you close to Me.
Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me with honor and glory. Psalm 73:23-24.
My hands hold all things together and sustain your life. It is My hand that feeds you, blesses you, protects and preserves you and teaches you how to profit and the way you should go. You can be sure in My hand that I will care for you and never forget to see to all your needs according to My riches in Christ Jesus in glory.
“Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. Isaiah 49:15-16.
I rescue you with My mighty hand.
Because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments. Deuteronomy 7:8-9.
When the early Church, the Body of Christ on earth, prayed for signs, wonders and miracles, do you remember what they prayed? That I stretch out My hand to heal. Healing is in My hands.
And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy child Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:29-31.
In My hands I can remake you and take away all the sickness, pain, disabilities, malfunctions, and deformities the devil has loaded so many with in this world. My hands formed your bodies from the dust of the clay of the earth and as the divine Potter I can remake and reshape you if you will entrust yourself into My hands and agree with Me for your healing and well-being.
The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD saying, “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will announce My words to you.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something on the wheel. But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make. Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, “Can I not, O house of Israel, deal with you as this potter does?” declares the LORD. “Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand.” Jeremiah 18:1-6.
To dwell in My hand is a wonderful place to be for you and for Me. When you stay close to Me and rest in My loving hands, I can do many things for you and keep you in My protection and open to My direction.
“Let His left hand be under my head and His right hand embrace me.” Song of Songs 8:3.
And when you begin to experience the amazing goodness of My powerful hand you will want to know Me more and more. Like Moses, who after seeing My hand in operation in redeeming Israel with mighty signs and wonders, he wanted to know Me better and stay always in My hand.
O LORD God, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as Yours? Deuteronomy 3:24.
The only way you are going to be in My hand is if you trust Me.
You who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust!” Psalm 91:1-2.
Then you will let Me take you places. And you will not fear even if ten thousand fall at your side, it will not come near you. But if you do not trust Me, you are not willing to be carried in My hand. You are not willing to draw close to Me and stay under My wings for protection, like chicks snuggling under the wings of their mother hen.
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.” Matthew 23:37.
I took the Israelites, the descendants of My friend Abraham, out of the slavery of Egypt by My strong hand and outstretched arm and carried them as on eagle’s wings, but they never trusted Me. They never had faith that I would take care of them all through the desert as I led to the land I had promised, they continually feared they would lack sustenance, yet they never did. And when I got them to the border of the land I had promised to give them, they refused to go in and take it. Why? They did not trust Me to take care of them. They did not trust Me to provide for them. They did not trust Me to protect and guide them aright. They did not trust to rest in My hand and go where I was taking them.
I can only carry you in My hand if you trust Me. How do you get this trust? The same way you do in anyone, by their words. You must believe their words, but especially in the goodness of their plans for you, and that their words are true and their interest is in your best interest, then and only then will you draw near to them and trust them with your very life.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you. Do not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding; they must be controlled with bit and bridle to make them come to you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but loving devotion surrounds him who trusts in the LORD. Psalm 32:8-9.
I do not drag you like a stubborn mule, I carry you and for that you must be as trusting as the baby resting in its mother’s arms. He is content to go wherever she goes as she holds him in her arms. In fact, the baby is more interested in that place of resting in his mother’s arms than the destination of the journey upon which they were on.
I can only bless you to the extent you will let Me. If you speak stout against Me I cannot draw you close. If you are not willing to say I have healed you, that I have prospered you, that I protect you, that you are forgiven, then you resist My doing these things for you and I cannot remake you in My image.
The Israelites, except for Moses, Joshua, and Caleb were not strong and courageous. They were whiners and complainers unwilling to put faith in My Words and do them. And yet they had seen mighty wonders like never seen before done for them by Me. But there is no other way to freedom and to joy then making My Words your own, by being willing to obey. If you do not love and believe My Word, you do not love and believe Me.
“I have put My words in your mouth and have covered you with the shadow of My hand, to establish the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’” Isaiah 51:16.
Do you see? My Words in your mouth and My hand covering you. This is the winner, then I can stretch out My and do great miracles with and in you.
I love you. There is no need to fear. Be strong and very courageous. But only faith in My Word will get you there. It is the same way I taught Joshua to be strong and courageous and take all My promises. My Word and My hand.
Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:7-9.
