The LORD appeared to me from afar, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” Jeremiah 31:3.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
Love. Everyone seeks it, without it, life means nothing, with it, life means everything. A life lived without love is like a branch severed from the vine that dries up and dies. And without love no life can be fruitful inside and out. And without love there is no lasting joy.
Love stories are popular reading, but few really know what love is or why they so desire it. And because they do not understand what love is, many seek it in wrong places and in unstable people. Your spirits and your souls are crying to have love fill them without knowing where to find it or how to abide in it.
What is love? Why is it such a powerful, attractive force that everyone is seeking it and is not complete without it? Why do babies and children wither away and die without it? Why do older people give up hope and have no desire to live if they are not surrounded with it?
The answer is simple, love is your source. You were created by love, you were created with love, you were created for love, and you were created to love. It is who you are, and it is who I am, for I am your source and I made you in My image and likeness and I am love. You are Mine and until you live, abide, and rest in My love you will be restless and unstable. You will not be complete.
But let us go deeper, what is love? In other words, when you are seeking love what are you really seeking? It is not found in the flesh, though that is where a majority are seeking it, that kind of love is temporal and subject to change, loss, selfishness, and envy. It goes up and down. True love that never fades or changes is found in the Spirit realm. Without love you are not complete. I so loved the world I gave you Jesus so you will never perish but have eternal life. Without love people perish with love they live a blessed life. Jesus makes you complete.
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete. Colossians 2:8-10.
Love is the home that you are always looking for. People who have had strokes or damage to their bodies or minds will often just keep saying they want to go home, and yet you can take them to the place where they had been living and they will still keep asking to go home. It is much deeper, your home is love and that love is found only in your source, i.e., your home in Me. The prodigal son knew for joy, provision, and life itself he had to return to his source, his father’s house. And so do you.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house; and You give them to drink of the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light we see light. Psalm 36:7-9.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. John 14:23.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6.
How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Psalm 84:4.
Love is shalom. Nothing missing, nothing broke, and no one alone. Love is My plan for you.
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for your peace and prosperity, your provision and your well-being (shalom) and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11-12.
Love is the heart of everyone. I put eternity in each person’s heart, but no one wants an eternity without love. Love is what every person is looking forward to in Heaven, for My Kingdom is one of love, pure love. Love is the light that illumines Heaven. Come live in the light of My love. Love is a tangible substance in the Spirit, it is the atmosphere of Heaven, like warm sunshine on your back on a cold day. It envelops you in light and peace and quickens your mortal bodies. Have you ever noticed there is an atmosphere of Heaven around those who walk in love?
Love casts out fear. Love has no torment. Love is not ill at ease but at ease due to the One who takes all your care from you and works all together for your good. Love is confident assurance of good. But love can only be found in the one who is all good.
I created you in love, by love, for love and to love.
Love is what everyone is seeking but it can only be found in the everlasting arms of your creator.
Love is My lovely dwelling place that is your sun and your shield, your refuge and your fortress, your secret place, your holy ground, your home where you would rather be than anywhere else.
I reveal Myself to those whose hearts are stirred to seek Me, I would like to introduce Myself to you. I am Love and I am Light, but I am a Person in My own eternal right. You are in My image and likeness though the first man and woman distorted and defaced that image in themselves and their descendants, but in Jesus I purify and make you anew to once again be My family, My own special treasure, set to reign with Me forever.
Most do not know Me, but all can know Me.
And a good place to start is with My Name. Yahweh (יהוה). I gave him My memorial Covenant Name – LORD, which is Yahweh (יהוה) which is Hebrew meaning: I AM, I WAS, AND I AM TO COME. It is made up of three tenses of the verb “to be.” And with this Name, which promises My abiding and eternal presence, I add promises signed in My Covenant Name. And they reveal to you what love does for I am love and who I am to you is in My Covenant Promise Names.
So, if you want to know who love is and how love manifests, look at My Covenant Names. My Covenant with you is one of pure love and My Names are promises and characteristics of love. Nothing else, just pure love unadulterated from the Source.
I am the LORD who heals you (Yahweh Ropheka). Love heals. Love in its shalom blessing heals all that is ailing you in spirit, soul, and body. When you rest in love your broken heart is healed and more than healed it is restored. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted and to set the captives free.
I am the LORD who sees ahead and provides (Yahweh Yireh). Love cares for and provides for the beloved. In Covenant the greater protects, cares for, and brings the lesser up to the greater one’s level.
I want to take care of you. Now and forever. From eternity to eternity you are Mine. I loved you before you came to be in time. My banner over you is love. Pure love. A kind that you have never known on the earth as it is in its corrupted state, but that is not the way it was originally made or intended. But I will make new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells and love is King.
I am the LORD your banner (victory, miracle) and My banner over you is love. Love never fails. Love always prevails. Love is stronger than death and raises from the grave. Love makes bittersweet and long years short. I turn your mourning into dancing and a thousand years as a day.
I am the LORD your Shepherd. Shepherds feed, lead, care for, nourish, and protect their sheep. And as Jesus, your great good Shepherd told you, the good Shepherd lays down his life for his sheep. And He did but only to take it up again. And He will raise you up on the last day.
I am the LORD of Hosts. And that is another proof of My love. I give you angels to protect and guide you lest you strike your foot upon a stone. These marvelous messengers of Mine can do amazing things for you. Do not let them stand there idle all day and night, give them work to do.
I am the LORD your righteousness. My love removes your sins and puts them on Jesus and makes you righteous with My own righteousness in Him. He made peace through the blood of His cross and made you holy, righteous and blameless, without reproach, before Me. Love never leaves you in sin, love purifies and changes you into love. Love holds nothing back from the beloved. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. It has please Me to make you joint heirs with Christ.
I am the LORD who sanctifies you. I cleanse you from all unrighteousness with the blood of the Lamb and with My Word. I am here for you to help you on your path to holiness, without which no one can see Me. The beauty of holiness is yours in Christ Jesus.
I am the LORD your refuge, your fortress, your stronghold, and your deliverer. And all those are characteristics of love. Love protects, makes strong and courageous, love can always be counted on to deliver.
I have loved you with everlasting love and called you to be My own. I have a Covenant of love with you. But the love I have for you flows from the fact that I am Love. I do not just have love, I AM LOVE. That is who I am. Everything that is not love is foreign to Me and does not enter into Me. I think in love, walk in love and talk in love. You can trust that I will not act in any other way.
Believe in the love I have for you. When you really know Me and the love that I have for you, you will never fear anything again. Perfect love casts out all fear. Love is not perfect yet in one who is afraid.
If you feel that there is something between us that you cannot truly enjoy Me and fully experience My love, pull it up and cast it out. Let Me help you knock it down. I want open and complete communication with you. Come into My Light.
If your sins or wrong ideas about Me have built a wall of division between us, it is time to renew your mind to know who I truly am. My goal is complete union with you. We can only have this if you believe in My goodness, if you believe in My love for you.
Remember when Moses wanted to see My glory? He had seen Me do great signs and wonders to free My people from Egypt. He had known My power. He was the first one who talked and sang of My love. He called it My unfailing love. But it made him hungry to know more, to really know Who I am.
Well, in answer to his question, I told him, and it is good for you to hear this too. As I passed in front of Moses, I proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD, the merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in chesed (lovingkindness, grace) and emet (truth).” There you are. That is who I am to you too. Full of grace and truth. And grace and truth came through Jesus Christ right into your world dwelling among you. And of His fullness you have all received, grace on top of grace.
But in Jesus I have revealed something greater to you through My apostle John. I am love. It is My very nature and being. It is the essence of the Godhead. A love whose height, breadth, width and depth surpasses human knowledge and can only be known in the heart. In your spirit joined to My Spirit as I pour My love into your heart.
I fill you with My love, I surround you with My love and I give you My love. My love is like an ocean. My love is better than the finest wine. My love is stronger than death. My love never fails. I bring you into My banquet hall and My banner over you is love. Song of Songs 2:4.
Live on in the light of My love. In the love of My Son. In My favor. You are highly favored in the Beloved.
I describe what love is in the first letter to the Corinthians. If you want to know Me and how I act with you, just read that passage substituting the word “God” for “love.” God is patient, God is kind. God does not envy, God does not boast, God is not proud. God is not rude, God is not self-seeking, God is not easily angered, God keeps no record of wrongs. God does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. God always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. God never fails.
Do you know Me this way? If not, it is time you drew close to Me and got to know Me. It is time for you to taste and see My goodness. I am there for you.
My love for you caused Me to send My only begotten Son to take all your sin and bear the judgment, condemnation, shame and punishment for your sins so that you would be righteous before Me and there would be nothing between us but peace and reconciliation. Peace by the blood of His cross. Your sins and offenses I remember no more. I put them all in His account and took them out of yours. In your account I put all His righteousness, health, wealth, joy and peace.
If people but knew the goodness in My Heart and the intense love I have for them, they would come running to My throne of grace, to the mercy seat, running to My embrace, running to My everlasting arms! Come to Me, you will find welcome. I will refresh you. From My delightful stream I will give you to drink. The river of life, clear as crystal running down the streets of Heaven from My throne overflowing into your hearts to become the fountain welling up in your spirit unto eternal life that Jesus spoke of. You will never thirst again.
You must come to know and to believe in the love which I have for you to be really happy, confident and worry-free. Love never wrongs the neighbor. My plans for you are in keeping with My love for you—good plans for your peace, prosperity, and happiness and not for suffering and disaster.
Let Me protect you from the curse, for it is in the world from sin and corruption. You must understand that earthquakes, famine and disease are not of My making nor are they My Will for mankind. They are the result of the curse that Adam brought into the earth and which I sent My Son to redeem you from. It is still in the earth and will be there until My Son returns and the tribulation period takes place and I renew, make new, the earth and the heavens the way they were meant to be and cleanse them from the horrible corruption man has caused, but you can be shielded from it and have authority over it even now if you take Jesus as your Lord and are clothed in Him. He won back the authority Adam lost and He can give it to you so that you can reign with Him in this life. Romans 5:17. If you will let Me, I can surround you with My love and favor as a shield. I can protect and redeem you if you will authorize Me to do so in your life, otherwise I cannot. It is up to you.
Call to Me and I will answer Me. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you. Allow Me to be your Protector, your Provider, your Good Shepherd, your Father, your Friend, your Lover, and your Spouse. Give Me your heart; I have already given you Mine. I loved you and knew you before you came to be. Jeremiah 1:5, Ephesians 1:4.
Those who have sought Me and experienced My love, those who have tasted My goodness, are never again the same. My servant and friend Paul wrote that the surpassing goodness he had experienced in knowing Me made him count all the things that used to be so important to him as rubbish. My servant David wrote that when he was with Me the world delighted him not. He sang of My love as precious, as a refuge, as a feast, as reaching to the heavens, and as a river of delights. Psalm 36:5-9 (NAS); Psalm 36:6-10 (NAB). Have you experienced this? You can.
Believe in My love. I am with you if you let Me be. Taste and see My goodness.
I love you. Come to Me and I will give you rest. Rest in My everlasting arms. Love is not an agitated state, it is a place of rest in My house with Me. Let Love be your home.
