Then I heard the voice of the LORD, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלוהים) says:
Love has a vision. I am love and I have a vision that I had from the beginning. I had it from before the foundation of the world—I shared it with the first man and woman, I shared it with Noah, I shared it with Abraham, and I share it with every generation. It is called the Blessing. But it is more.
For You, O LORD, have a vision that all may be one in You, Your family in Your own Image, united, triumphant, and true!
My vision is for My family. And each one of you has a part in bringing that vision to pass. I have blessed you to be a blessing that all the families of the earth may be blessed because of you. I have a good plan for each life that comes from Me, a life triumphant and fruitful, forever abiding in Me. I want you all at the family table in My Kingdom with Me forever. And I want you fruitful in My Kingdom, for you are in My image. There is much to do, but it is all wonderful.
And I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you (Satan) I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3.
Without a vision the people live unrestrained and wandering, Proverbs 29:18, like sheep without a shepherd. Without a vision you do not know where you are going, and your life is not fruitful. Like the Israelites who refused to join My vision for them. My vision for them was an abundant life filled with victory and fruitfulness in the land I had promised to Abraham in a vision more than four hundred years before it came to pass. Genesis 15:12-21. All those years I kept that vision alive and when the appropriate time came, I opened the vision to them with great miracles, signs and wonders to make them a great nation that would be a light to the nations.
And within that vision, each person had a special part to play to bring My vision to pass. Each had an assignment that without them the whole would not be complete. And My vision was to do good to them, to give them cities, homes, vineyards and wells they did not build or plant or dig, and through them to bring My Word to the nations. I wanted My vision of a great and holy nation walking with Me in triumph holding to the truth so that all would see the fruitfulness and blessing in following Me to be their vision too. I needed them to join with Me for the vision to come to pass. Moses wrote it down where they could all read it, and I wanted them to write it on their hands and on their doorposts and keep it before their eyes, and to run with it, but they would not budge or lift a finger to do it out of fear. But I had bigger plans for them, as I told Abraham, I blessed him to be a blessing and that every nation would be blessed because of his descendants. I wanted that to be their vision too, as it was for Abraham. I wanted to make them a great nation to bless every family on earth. Genesis 12:2-3.
But only two out of two million caught the vision, Joshua and Caleb, and they hung onto it for forty years while the ones who refused to run with the vision died off in the desert. And then, with the next generation, Joshua and Caleb led over two million visionaries into the Promised Land to conquer. And they did.
You need a vision to make an impact in the world but make it My vision if you want to bless every nation on earth.
Then the LORD answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:2-3.
Love has a vision. What is it? Well, first you know that I desire that all people be saved and come to know the truth. And that is the first vision for your life that I want you to run with. Run to the Mercy Seat and receive mercy and find grace just when you need it. I also desire that you prosper and are in good health in every area of your life even as your soul prospers and your soul prospers by walking in the truth. In order to join both these visions you need to spend time reading, hearing, speaking, and doing My Word with Me.
But there is more. Jesus, in His prayer to Me for you on the night He was betrayed, revealed to you Love’s Vision and your part in it. Love’s Vision cannot be accomplished without you doing your part and every other member doing their part as well as the body of Christ. So let us go and read the vision that My beloved John, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, wrote down so you can run with it.
First, at that Passover meal, at the end of the meal, after communion, Jesus lifted His eyes to Me and began to prayer for those at table with Him and for all who would believe in Me through their word. And that is you, for you have come to Me through the words of the Bible, that is how you know of Me, and these are words in the New Testament that those men wrote under the inspiration of My Spirit or those who learned from them wrote. You have a book full of My Words written by My visionaries.
And what did Jesus pray to Me as His vision for each of you? He prayed Love’s Vision. Will you read it and run with it? Will you fulfill your part in Love’s Vision? For you were created by Love, created with Love, created for Love and created to Love, it is who you are.
You can go to Chapter 17 of the Gospel according to John and read the entire prayer for you will learn much from it about eternal life and how to live in the word without being of the world. But let us now focus on Love’s Vision that Jesus prayed to Me towards the end of the prayer:
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:20-26.
Now let us break it down a bit.
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20-21.
He is praying for you here so realize that and take it personally. He is praying that you may be one even as Jesus and I, the Father, are One. Jesus is in Me and I am in Him reconciling the world to Myself. And Jesus, in His Covenant with you is pulling you into the Oneness of Covenant He has with Me and I have with Him. But not just one in us, but united with all other believers as one body in Christ, with many members, but all working together in to do each one’s part to complete Love’s Vision of unity. And all this so that world believes in salvation in Jesus, the One I sent to save the world and not to condemn it. And it is your unity of love and purpose that is going to convince them of the reality of Jesus sent as their Savior.
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23.
The united Body of Christ, the church, My family on earth, one with Me and one another in the precious work of bringing the world to know Jesus as the One I sent to save you, redeem you, raise you up, heal you, and bless you. How will they know this? By your love for one another and the miracles taking place at your hands. When they see you doing the works Jesus did and greater, they will know that I love you even as I loved Jesus, for He is in you by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
My love goes forth to heal and bless. What you have freely received from Me in Jesus, freely give to others in and by Jesus.
Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. John 17:24.
Jesus asked for all of you who believe in Him as Lord to be with Him where He is, that is, seated at My right hand in the majesty with His enemies as a footstool under His feet, so that you may see His glory, that is, His goodness, His power, and His presence in your lives and let that light in you shine in good works and mighty deeds. And I answered that prayer, when I raised Him from the dead, I raised your dead spirit up so you are born again of My Word of power, and I seated you with Him at My right hand in the spirit (not in the flesh, you are still on earth in your body, but in your spirit is access to My Kingdom). You have seen His glory, the glory of the only begotten Son at My right hand.
O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your Name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25-26.
This is an awesome vision for your life. The worldly do not know Me, and many of them like Herod are a bit curious to see a mighty miracle but have no interest in personally knowing Me, which is eternal life. Jesus prayed about that as well that night:
“Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:1-3.
But with you who follow Me it is different. You know My Name and you know the Name of My Son. He has made My Name known to you, and I have given you His Name, and there is no other name given among men by which you can be saved. But here He tells you that knowing Me is in the ongoing revelation of My Name. My Name and My Word are established forever in Heaven. He is speaking of My Covenant Names, all of which He fulfills among you, the LORD, the LORD your healer, the LORD your provider, the LORD your righteousness, the LORD your redeemer, the LORD is peace, the LORD of Hosts, the LORD your refuge, the LORD your fortress, the LORD your helper, the LORD your deliverer, and the LORD your strength, and there are many more plus all the names of Jesus, such as the Bread of Life and the Light of the world. And all these Names of Mine and Jesus show only one thing: My love and care for you, “so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
So what is Love’s Vision? Bring the whole world to salvation in Jesus so they too can live the life of triumph, glory, and fruitful love in Him, with Him, and through Him to the praise of My glory, that is, My goodness, My presence and My power in your lives as My family on earth and in Heaven. All one in Me so that I can dwell among and in every one of you. You in Me and I in you and all of Us in Jesus together so the world may know that I sent Him to reconcile all of you to Me, your everlasting Father. Dream with Me and share My thoughts, sing My songs, and run with Me to complete your part of the vision to bring it to pass.
For You, O LORD, have a vision that all may be one in You, Your family in Your own Image, united, triumphant, and true!
