Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.” Acts 2:38-39.
Today your LORD (יהוה) God (אלהים) says:
Jesus told you on the night He was betrayed that it was better for you that He accomplished the work He came to do of redeeming you from slavery to sin and death and returned to Me than remaining physically upon the earth. Why? He was sending the promised Holy Spirit to be with you and in you forever—the inheritance of those who take Jesus as Lord.
Jesus came to die for your sins so you could receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. If you but knew you would ask Him for a drink and He would give you living water that will become a wellspring within you leaping up to eternal life. You will never thirst again. When you are full of the beauty of holiness, the power that raises the dead and quickens your mortal bodies, and the source of wisdom and strength your life becomes one of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit! Days of Heaven on earth are your inheritance.
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14.
Jesus came to take away your sins to put you right with Me so that with your spirits born again (alive to Me and dead to sin) you could join with My Spirit, and not only join with Him but be filled with Him.
If you want to live the life that is life indeed, if you want to really be who you were created to be, if you really want to experience the glory, if you really want to know as you are known, it is all about the Holy Spirit in you.
He is the gift above all gifts. He is the gift and the promise that My Son spoke of and died to give you. He is you in Me and I in you. He makes us join as one. Forever.
But there is so much that this means to you. The Holy Spirit teaches you all things, John 14:26, guides you to all truth, John 16:13, testifies to Jesus, John 15:26, leads you, Romans 8:14, tells you of the things to come, John 16:13, corrects you, John 16:8, regenerates and renews you, Titus 3:5, shares My secrets with you, Psalm 25:14, John 16:14-15, 1 Corinthians 2:10, reveals to you all that I have freely given you in Jesus, 1 Corinthians 2:12, witnesses to you and with your spirit that you are My children, Romans 8:16, and that I have forgiven all your sins and lawless deeds and remember them no more, Hebrews 10:15-17, reminds you of all I have said, John 14:26, gives you grace endowments and spiritual gifts, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, baptizes you into the Body of Christ, 1 Corinthians 12:13, gives you access to Me, Ephesians 2:18, produces His fruit in your spirit, Galatians 5:22-23, gives you strength and power and self-control, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 3:20, 2 Timothy 1:7, Ephesians 2:19-20, Zechariah 4:6, Galatians 5:23, heals your bodies and gives them life, Luke 5:17, Mark 5:30, Romans 8:11, tells you My deepest thoughts and plans, 1 Corinthians 2:11-16, prays and intercedes for and in you, Romans 8:26, breathes inspiration into you, 2 Peter 1:21, gives you dreams and visions from Me, Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:17-18, makes you holy, 1 Corinthians 6:19, makes you free, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 8:31-32, and I pour My love in your heart through Him. Romans 5:5. And I am only touching the surface of what My Spirit in you does for you, for He actually fills you up to all My fullness, Ephesians 3:19, and works within you to do exceedingly more than you can ask or think. Ephesians 3:20. He makes you partakers of My divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4. And I do not ration My gift of Him, I give Him without measure, and you can have as much as you ask for. John 3:34, Luke 11:13.
The Holy Spirit rushed upon David but was not in him as He is in you now since you have been born again to a living hope and your spirit is now alive again through the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit due to the fact that you have been cleansed of your sins and reconciled to Me by the sufferings, death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus. But still, My Spirit gave such wonderful strength, skill, counsel, wisdom and understanding to David that his main concern was the I never take My Spirit from him. Psalm 51:11. But he knew he could only have My Spirit with him and be in My presence if I purified him and washed him clean from sin. Psalm 51:7. Abraham saw the day of My Son and rejoiced. John 8:56.
David prayed My Spirit would not leave him, but now you do not need to fear. Once you have believed in the good news of My Son and received Him as your Lord, My Holy Spirit will never leave you but be in you and with you always. But, unfortunately, many believers are unaware of the wonderful gift I have given them and never consult Him or pray with Him or listen to Him, but ignore His promptings and leadings, never seek His gifts, and live their earthly life only dwelling in their soul and walking in the flesh rather than the Spirit. And many speak obscenities and anger. This grieves My Spirit.
Yes, I have a most wonderful gift that I have given you as your inheritance. And My Son had to die and be glorified at My right hand to give Him to you. John 7:37-39. Jesus told His disciples after His resurrection to wait in Jerusalem for what I had promised, which they had heard from Him. And My promise was none less than My Holy Spirit poured out on all those who believed in My Son as Lord. The promise of the Father. Clothed in Power from on High. Baptized not just with water but with the Holy Spirit and fire just as John the Baptist had foretold.
Not by human might, nor by human power, but by My Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. I send forth My Spirit and creation happens and I renew the face of the earth (adamah). Psalm 104:30.
And I promised Him to you through My prophets Ezekiel and Joel and Zechariah. Ezekiel 36:25-27; Joel 2:28-29; Zechariah 13:10. And all promised Him in the New Covenant after My Son taken your sins so you could again have a living spirit.
Do you appreciate and cherish the great Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom I have given to you? To each believer as his or her very own counselor, helper, leader, guide, teacher, and healer? And He testifies to Jesus. And He tells you My deepest thoughts. And Jesus is a High Priest forever according to His order, for the Holy Spirit is the great Melchizedek. It is the Spirit’s Word that is spoken to the Churches.
The Wonderful Holy Spirit. He is so precious to Jesus and Me that Jesus told you I will forgive every sin except blasphemy against My Holy Spirit. Never liken the work of My Spirit to that of an unclean demon as the Pharisees did to Jesus.
And I breathed the entire Bible by My Spirit. Know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from Me. 2 Peter 1:20-21.
And when Jesus was baptized by John in the Jordan, I opened Heaven over Him and Who came down to empower Jesus for His ministry and to raise Him from the dead? The Holy Spirit. The amazing, wonderful, precious Holy Spirit. The power from on High. The Power in you that can do exceedingly, abundantly beyond all you can ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20. The Power by which I raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him in Heaven at My right Hand far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:20-21.
The Holy Spirit hovered over the dark void at the very beginning of creation and I spoke “Light be” and My Spirit went to work and the power went forth and My Word came into being. And the same Holy Spirit hovered over Mary and I spoke and the Word became flesh. The power of the Most High. The Holy Spirit brings My Words into being. And My Holy Spirit knows My thoughts and through Him I reveal them to you. 1 Corinthians 2:10.
By My Spirit that I have given you I pour My love in your heart. Romans 5:5. And I speak to you in your heart by My Spirit. It is by the Holy Spirit that I dwell and Jesus dwells in the heart of every believer. Through Jesus you all have access in one Spirit to Me. Ephesians 3:18. Whoever joins with Jesus becomes one spirit with Him. And Jesus is one with Me.
I anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power, and He went about doing good and healing all were oppressed of the devil. Acts 10:38. I anointed Him with the oil of gladness. The Holy Spirit is how I put My joy in you so that your joy may be full. He is the Spirit of JOY. My Kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is so important to you for living the abundant life in Me that as soon as My Son was raised up and had ascended back to Me, having been exalted to My right hand, He received the promise of the Holy Spirit from Me, and poured Him forth upon you. Acts 2:33. That was the way the disciples knew that Jesus had reached His destination back to His glory at My right hand—Pentecost was fulfilled on Mt. Zion. And the evidence? Those who received Him spoke in tongues. And so did the household of Cornelius when they believed in Jesus as Peter preached the good news of My Son and they spoke with tongues. Acts 10:45-46.
And My Son told you on the night before He died for your sins that He would ask Me and I would give you another Paraclete (helper by your side, counselor, advocate) that would be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because the world does not see Him or know Him. But you will know Him because He will be with you and IN you. Forever. John 14:16-17. And He told you that this wonderful Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, whom I would send in Jesus’ Name, would teach you ALL things, and bring to your remembrance all that Jesus said. John 14:26. He also told you that when the Paraclete came, whom Jesus would send to you from Me, the Father, He would testify about Jesus. Acts 15:26. The witness. And Jesus called the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from Me. John 15:26.
And He told you more that night before He died about the wonderful Holy Spirit who would be with you and in you forever. He told you that He would guide you into all truth, that He would disclose to you what is to come, and that He would take of what belongs to Jesus and reveal it to you (and all things that I have are His). John 16:13-15.
And I do so much more for you by My Holy Spirit. Through the Spirit I give you varieties of gifts and ministries, but to each one of you is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the good of all. For to one is given the world of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the One Spirit, and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to anther the discerning of spirits, to another tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distribution to each one individually just as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. And the fruit the Spirit produces in you as you abide in Jesus as the branch does in the vine is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23.
And all who are My children are led by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:14. And He intercedes and prays in you and for you for you do not always know how to pray as you ought. Romans 8:26.
And the Holy Spirit cries out to you with the bride to come and drink of the life giving water which assures you that you are born again from above unto eternal life.
My wonderful Holy Spirit. I give Him to you because I love you and you are precious in My eyes. You need a helper who is ever present at your side to guide you and tell you of the things to come.
I have given you your own GPS to lead you through this world and eternity. And GPS stands for “God’s Powerful Spirit” who is in you to lead you to all truth and to show you the things to come. Follow Him. He will always take you to Jesus. Salvation. Life. Peace. Beauty.
The Holy Spirit is your lifeline and your connection with Me. He is the gift through whom I can pour into you My very own life and all that I have freely given you in Christ.
He is the Spirit of holiness and He sanctifies you. And I give life to your mortal bodies through Him. It is through My Spirit that healing flows into your body and produces a mighty work. A miracle.
Do you remember that it is written that when Jesus was preaching the Word, My power was present to heal? Whenever you are hearing the Word, and it is Spirit breathed, and written by men under the power and inspiration of the Spirit, the power to heal is present for you. Signs and wonders follow My Word. And the Word is Spirit and Life.
It is My Spirit that gives and sustains life. I send forth My Spirit and they are created and I renew the face of the earth. He hovers above and My Word creates. It is My Spirit that energizes you and raises you up.
Do you see now why the first thing My apostle Paul asked the believers he encountered in Ephesus was whether they had received the Holy Spirit when they believed? Do you see now why the Holy Spirit fell on Cornelius and his household when they believed? Do you see now why My Son had to die and be glorified so you could have the gift of the Holy Spirit? Do you see now why the first thing He did when He ascended by the Heaven after his death and resurrection was to pour out the Holy Spirit on you? Acts 2:33.
I did not leave you orphaned, I gave you another counselor, helper, comforter and the channel through which I would give you everything that is Mine. Yes, the Holy Spirit to be in you and with you forever.
And My Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Sonship whereby you call to Me “Abba,” “Father.” And by Him you become My children and heirs, joint heirs with Christ. And He witnesses with your spirit that you are My beloved child. And He testifies to you that I remember your sins and offenses no more. Hebrews 10:15-17.
And He sanctifies you and renews your mind with My Word. And the Holy Spirit in you makes you holy. In Christ Jesus I saved you, not on the basis of deeds which you have done in righteousness, but according to My mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom I poured out upon you richly through Jesus Christ your Savior, so that being justified by My grace you would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
He testifies to Jesus. And so will you. And He gives you words and a wisdom that no one can take exception to or contradict. And He will give you a word in due season to speak to another for Me. And He will, if you let Him, direct your conversation to touch the hearts of those hearing you for Christ.
And He makes you a prophet, one who edifies (upbuilds), encourages and exhorts those to whom you speak.
And He will give you skill and special abilities just at the right time. He will show you how to fix things and how to make things work. He will teach you all things. He will give you songs to sing and praises to speak. He will help you to pray and even pray in you and for you. And He will inspire you to write My Word down for others to read.
And His power in you can do far more than you can ever ask or imagine.
Is it not time that you asked Me to fill you with the Holy Spirit? He is My gift to you. And Jesus will baptize you in Him. If you but knew the magnificence of My gift to you, you would ask Jesus for a drink and He would pour out the life giving water of the Holy Spirit upon you from My throne until your well is so full and it overflows out of you in rivers of living water to the world, healing and empowering all who will come and drink.
And it is by My Spirit that we are joined in fellowship. All those who join with Me, become one spirit with Me.
I love you. Enjoy My Son. And enjoy My Holy Spirit. Everything I have is yours. It has pleased Me to give you the Kingdom. I have given you the gift of the Holy Spirit, and in Him, I have given you Myself. I am your inheritance and your very great reward.
